Would not recommend this Go Wireless Verizon retailer!!! Both Paul and Richard come off as very helpful and friendly, but in the end they screwed my elderly mom. Told us the Hum was free for 1 year and the monthly charge of $5 would start after a year if we wanted to keep them. Plus we would not be charged any fees for activation! Added 2 to our account to try the Hum. ALL LIES - I tried the Hum and was not impressed with it (would not recommend it either). Received our bill and we had activation charges and the monthly charges added to our bill. We tried to return them and was informed that we had to do it within 14 days - WE WERE NEVER TOLD THAT, nor is it on any of our paperwork. After being told, by calling Verizon, the store manager, Robert, would have to remove the charges. Robert did NOTHING to take the Hum's back, all he told me was my District Manager, Michael or Meta would not authorize the Hum's to be returned. Please do not use this store for your Verizon needs. It was like shopping for a used car. They are very dishonest!! I hope this review will help save someone else from going thru these deceitful people. read more

Can I give the service ZERO stars? This is my 3rd time in the store in less than a week. Paul was very kind to us in helping set up new accounts and order phones. He called corporate many times for us on 2/13/21 as there was a system error. As it could not be corrected we said we would be back Monday morning. Just left the store and wow I am shocked at the girl working. She was rude, abrasive and did nothing but complain about Verizon. She first accused us of "never coming back". We said yes this is our third time and Paul was helping us. She gave us wrong pricing despite showing her the paperwork we had. She kept saying "well what promotion do you think you have?" Really? Im showing her the paperwork and she is rolling her eyes telling us we are wrong. We asked when Paul would be back so he could help and she refused to answer us. We walked out. You just lost 2 customers over her behavior. read more

5/16/17 UPDATE. Please see NV ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE and the BBB before doing any business with GoWireless or Verizon. Our issues with deceptive business practices and fraudulent contract representation issues have NOT BEEN RESOLVED. Avoid this location, and frankly Verizon in general at all costs. Our original review on Yelp finally got the attention of district management, however, despite an apology and assurance of quick resolution to our concern, NOTHING has been done. Truly. Once they sign you up, they have no further need to ensure any type of customer satisfaction. Sprint was always a bit pricier, but in 11 years, they never failed to provide EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Switching to VERIZON WAS A COSTLY, COSTLY MISTAKE. read more

Went in and talked to Jesse, right off the bat he was very helpful, friendly and answered all my questions. We talked about the Note 4 and the Edge program and I told him I was going to think about it and I would drop in tomorrow. I walk in the next day at 11:00 am and he greeted me and went to the back to get the Note 4. He had wrapped my information sheet from the day before around the phone he got from the back. That is customer service at its best. He also took the time to ensure all my pictures, contacts, and io safe passwords were transferred as well. Awesome store, my family will continue to use this store for future business with Verizon. read more

If I could give this store 0 stars I would, however, the gentleman with the topknot hairstyle is their only saving grace. The manager decided that she absolutely needed to make her deposit at the bank, leaving her store with a line of customers and only one customer service representative to assist them. When she returned she rudely joked that she forgot a penny and needed to go back to to give them a penny. Im not sure how she came to the decision that the deposit needed to be done right then and there with customers waiting, but it was a poor decision on her part. To follow this up, she was very rude to the elderly gentleman in front of us. She clearly saw that his situation was going to be a difficult one to handle, and she rudely dismissed his problems and stated she could only call corporate and have him wait until they answered. When it came time for us to be helped, she also quickly dismissed us and gave us a number to call. The least she could have done was asked each customer waiting in line what kind of help they needed before heading to the bank instead of having us wait in line for nothing. I don't believe she has strong managerial qualities, and I believe the gentleman with the top knot deserves that position way more than she does. I sincerely hope corporate sees this and demotes her. Seriously, I feel like she is a poor excuse for a manager, and she deserves to be put through customer service training again. read more

Andy NEEDS a raise and a promotion for the customer service she handled with being the only staff member on the floor! I came in first thing in the morning to transfer phones. My issue alone was a headache because I had already tried Verizon tech support over the phone. She eventually worked her magic and was able to transfer everything correctly. Now during the time of helping me she then helped a collective of 5 other guests. Multitasking like a champ. Was handling 2-3 guests at one time. Just to make sure everyone didn't wait so long. All with different questions or problems. And she was a beast. One by one, being so polite, constantly thanking every guest for there patients. And to top everything off the guest before me was not so nice and she kept a positive attitude during and even after the guest left! She was amazing! I will continue to come back to this location because of Andy! Thank you again girl, you're my super hero! read more

Gregory, the Store Manager was very helpful to me this morning when I arrived to activate and transfer data on my new I6 phone. Even though he was the only staff member available he managed to wait on others and still help me. He was extremely knowledgeable and got everything done within 30 minutes! I will be returning to the store to purchase a tablet and hope Gregory is available. He deserves a BIG raise!!! I went to the St Rose store and Christol blew me off and she they were too busy for her to help me. She gave me her number and I texted her make an appointment the following day and gave her a time and date that would work for me and I never heard back from her! BAD customer service at that store. I won't return. I will do my business with Gregory at The Green Valley Store!!!! read more

Traveling from CA to Nv and my phone takes a little swim. I checked out Verizon stores and reviews on Google and pretty much picked this store based on the good reviews. They were right! Jason was a tremendous help in getting a new phone and transferring my contacts and pics over...thank goodness! Rami and Kylie were also very helpful, sweet, and just plain nice people. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the store. Gregory R. guided me through the decision making process and answered all my questions regarding phone specs of the various Samsung models. He accurately explained the new billing and financing that Verizon now has, and got my new phone up and running very quickly. So it is a bit difficult to write this review as there were so many positives when on behalf of my small business I attempted to both set up an account and purchase 7 new phones. First, both Richard and Mike are the sweetest and kindest guys. Second they gave us many discounts to get the cost down. Thirdly, I believe they tried very hard. So what went wrong? Long story short pretty much everything. I personally made 4 trips to the store to try and get the account set up and phones activated. The first visit was 1 hour, the second 1.5 hours, the 3rd 4.5 hours and the last over 30 minutes. Then there were countless texts and phone calls in between. In total I have spent about 10 hours trying to get this done. Sadly, I think Richard spent just as much time as me which I am not sure is due to his inexperience or a Verizon issue. Like other reviews here this is just time I really did not have. I think this vendor is fine if you want a single phone. If you are a business with multiple phones, I would suggest you go elsewhere. read more

I've been a Verizon customer for years, and every so often I have to make the tough decision to... change phonesss! This is not a decision I make lightly, and when I do, it's usually an absolute necessity; this time was no different. I've been a Note 3 and Note 5 user, and have finally decided I need more space on my cell, so I'm moving on to an S8+ (I can add an SD card). I had been contemplating the typically painful move for the past several days, and called my local GoWirerless store to get some help. My Note 5 was virtually rendered useless given the memory overload (way too many pictures, videos apps, etc), and Richard J. was there to save the day. He was able to ensure everything moved over seamlessly, trying one transfer app after another (my situation was a tough case). He was also a great sales representative, demonstrating features about my new phone that I had no idea existed! I appreciated the fact that he didn't try to sell me things I didn't need or want, but focused on helping me transfer everything over from one phone to another - in a timely fashion. During my time in the store, I had the opportunity to observe another sales rep helping a large family of 5 purchase multiple phones. He was patient and personable, and explained the various differences between the phone options they were considering. While I may dread the process, I truly appreciate having access to experts like Richard. Thank you for your help! I would highly recommend this GoWireless location for others in need of cellular services. read more
