Fast, friendly, service. The associate helping us knew what he was doing so we were in and out in less than 15 minutes.

Picking up the equipment was the fastest option as it was available as quickly as 2 hours from the time I confirmed the order as opposed to waiting 3-5 days for it to be delivered. I thought the process to pick up would be in and out but the wait was surprisingly long! Upon entering the store there were quite a few people in the store already in there. Some talking to Xfinity workers, some sitting, some just looking around. There wasn't really anyone greeting customers coming in to tell them where to go so I just found the closest Xfinity worker and told him I needed to pick up my equipment. At that time I was told to go check in with the dude to the side. Dude then told me to have a seat and someone will be with me shortly. After sitting for about 15 minutes and looking around highly annoyed because picking up equipment should not take this long, I saw an Xfinity worker who looked like he wasn't really doing anything and asked him if I can just get my equipment. Dude told me there was quite a few more people in front of me and I had to wait. The whole process was so inefficient I felt. Waiting 25 - 30 minute just to pick up equipment felt dumb. Then of course when it was my turn - it took less than 5 minutes. All dude had to do was find my equipment in the back and bring it to me. Made no sense I had to wait 30 minutes just for that. For as easy as it was to select my Internet service online and get that all set up, picking up at the actual store was such an inefficient process. Do better Xfinity! Good thing you guys were offering a great deal on internet and that's why I am currently a customer. My in store experience was not that great.

I was really happy with my experience here…read more Earlier this week I decided to get a new iPhone SE preferably in Rose Gold. Little did I know the SE was a hot ticket item and in short supply especially ones in Rose Gold. Even Apple Stores had 0 in stock! With a waiting list of over a month! Thanks God a SE was located at this AT&T store in my metal. So George and I zipped on up here blaring Bob Seger in our SUV, walked in and were helped immediately. Daniel B took care of me and he was really friendly and efficient. The whole thing went very fast. I liked he helped me select a case and screen protector and applied them carefully. The case selection was small esp for my model, but I found one that matched with rose gold shavings floating in lucite (I still am going to get another one with a pic on the outside of G probably). I appreciated he gave me a tip that if you watch videos esp on YouTube it can use data more that surfing the net or message boards. He and most people have no idea this, but I watch YouTube a lot! Another thing i liked was he didn't chit chat with his coworkers. Def at another AT&T store but EVEN at Apple Stores I've had Genius Bar employees chat or make remarks about the customers or sarcastic remarks about their devices or issues while on the floor or helping me. One more thing is the location wasn't really that out of the way since its by many highways and two tourist attractions (Gurnee Mills ginormous outlet mall & Great America theme park) plus a bunch of other strip malls. And the low lake county sales tax and low cig prices for smokeys, but honestly I'd probably go back for the outlet shopping LOL and visiting this store. Yay for fast and friendly service.

I was already frustrated by my new phone that I got there a few months ago was dropping calls, going straight to voice mail, I was missing important calls. He flat out refused to help me. Said it couldn't be done, that he didn't know why this was happening, nothing from him. Why was he even working there? I just gathered my coat and purse and drove home, called my daughter on her lunch hour and she fixed it! And she is older than this mean , worthless salesperson and works in insurance! Good lord AT & T get some people who know what they are doing to work in your stores! I am switching to another company as soon as I can!!

I've been Verizon customer for over 20 years, and have NEVER been treated so poorly, in all those years. I just wanted to find a way to lower my bill. I'm on a plan that is $85.00, don't use my phone except to make maybe two or three calls a month. My $85.00 bill is over $100.00 a month. No extra services, programs, or phones. Living in the country is wonderful for many reasons, but one downside is that you most likely only…read morehave 2 choices for getting online; wireless and satellite. I've always been told by my very smart tech oriented friends that wireless is the better and more reliable choice. I'd kill for a fast internet connection delivered by a wire to my home, but in my area of the boonies, we have just a few choices in wireless internet service providers. A big company (Rise Broadband) and a small one (Open Air Wireless). I have used them both. Open Air is the better choice for one reason alone; top notch service. There will always be speed and signal problems with wireless internet because there are so many points where failures can occur. And the speed you've been promised WILL vary because there is just so much signal to be doled out to everyone along the way...you're going to get slower speeds at certain times when everyone is using their signal at the same time or playing online video games that use tons of band width. That's the nature of the beast. At some point you will need service either at your home or along the chain of towers that deliver the wireless signal to your home. When your signal gets slow or goes dead, you have to make the call to tech who will start to work out where the problem is. I have found that with Rise Broadband, the company is huge and there are various levels of tech support. Don't get me wrong, the folks at Rise tech support are wonderful, but if they can't fix the problem with a "reset" on their end, they can't just send someone out to fix you. They have to "elevate the case to the next level". It's nothing to them if you're completely out of a signal for a week or two. Meanwhile, I have to turn my phone into a hotspot and pay for precious cell data while they take their time going through the proper channels. This is not the case with Open Air Wireless. When you call in with a problem with your signal, you're most likely going to get Matt, the owner of the company who turns you into a top priority. He tells me when he will be able to respond and I have to give him (and his wife who works at the office when he is unable to directly respond) an A+ for courtesy and responsiveness. I can't expect them to stop what they're doing but they are very aware that it's a big deal and they will get to you quickly. It wasn't too long ago that my only choice out here in the country was dial-up. I'm very grateful that I have choices now and Open Air is my top pick.
