This review is specifically for the drive up service. I can always count on them to accurate get the items I need and communicate when things are out of stock. We get an estimated window of 2 hours but I have never had to wait the full time. Once we arrive I have never waited more than 5 minutes to pick up my order. This is so incredibly helpful esp with an infant. Shopping alone is sometimes hard when they are this young and having a reliable service is so great! The only downfall is for the store itself, they are constantly out of so many things. Which is great when considering that means folks are really enjoy these same items, but the difficulty of getting things becomes a hit or miss. Overall, can't recommend target pick up service enough. read more

So really sad target won't stand behind the fact that I bought a gift card that is not working it was from Apple. I'm even sadder that Apple is not standing behind theirs stating it's because I bought it at target and they're not a normal retailer they will only stand behind their Apple products have purchased through their app or through their store So why do you sell target if it's not something that we can get our money back on when it doesn't work. The problems are that the card numbers don't match I really hope people are reading these reviews don't buy the gift cards anywhere but the Apple store or just get rid of Apple all together that's what I'm doing. This is now my go to store - used to be Vernon hills - now that I moved back to the area. Like the VH store, they are remodeling everything. The outward appearance and internal is definitely starting to take shape. The service is friendly but like any other big box store, their mode is to get you in and out as soon as possible. I needed to buy groceries and other stuffs so I decided to go in the store instead of the grocery store near my place because Target is the good store where I can buy literally everything aside from groceries. The store was clean and bright and everything seems to be on point. Selections are good too never had a problem. I am done with my groceries and the things that I needed to buy when I decided to go on their clothes section. I am not planning to buy but after I saw the nice selection and after seeing interesting items I decided to buy too. Prices are fair and reasonable and it is such a great deal!. Twice in the last few weeks , I've purchase items through the app for drive up and the items weren't ready as promised in 2 hours . I wasn't notified of the delays. The first order was only one item and the second item was only 2 items. Target advertises that they process orders quickly which is inaccurate and an inconvenience. I found this service to be useful because I have a broken left foot and try to avoid excessive walking. I've only had this problem at the Gurnee location. Waukegan and the Racine location is more friendly and prompt with the drive up service / feature . read more

I got here two to three times a week and it's a great deal - great shopping experience carts are well maintained- check out is a breeze.

I've been to this store 3 times now. And each time, the lines at the register are so long they wrap around the clothing isles. Yet, there are maybe 3 people working registers. All the while you have 100 target employees walking around, chatting with each other, texting, talking on the phone etc. 3 times now I left without purchasing anything. And I'm not going to return my items either. I'm leaving my full cart in the middle of the store. If you want to walk around and do nothing, well here you go, something to do. read more

They have many brands I like from their house brand analgesics and supplements to their health and beauty lines like Every Man Jack, Creamo, and Nivea. Their housewares often have hip, inexpensive decorating objects to liven up a room. Their prices are very competitive on staples and they're good to their employees and the community. I feel good about shopping here for the things I do. Employees are friendly, the store is generally clean and organized and I don't have to wait too long to check out. It's a win/win for me. I was here just the other day after a long absence, and as I made my way to my in-store destination I was twice greeted and approached by smiling, neatly groomed and well dressed employees (one male and the other, female) who greeted me, inquired if I would like help with locating anything, and thanked me for shopping there. The store itself not only smelled and appeared immaculately clean, it was ... downright shiny; so shiny that the floors glared! Impressive. After I easily found and picked what I wanted from well-stocked shelves, I was delighted to note that my once previously held cause for criticism and subsequent less frequent visits was also addressed and quite handily resolved. There was a female supervisor or manager present who essentially directed traffic at checkout, and when all lanes were two and three deep, glory alleluia, she called upon someone, who evidently already had a drawer open at a previously closed lane, to come forward and reopen her lane ... accomplished within about one minute. ::: SahWEET! ::: If I find that this Target store's management team consciously elects to continue to focus on its shoppers' customer service experiences beyond store appearance, well-stocked shelves and orderly and attractive displays, I will return to this store much more often, and will consolidate our grocery and department store purchases to buy more there ... again, that is * IF * I can be assured of consistently timely and courteous check outs. ::: Time will tell! ::: Four stars (or a star more than "A-OK") are awarded to declare "Yay! Love shopping at this Target! The store is clean, nice and bright and there's a Starbucks and food area inside as well. The people working here are generally pretty helpful and have a good attitude too. Target has definitely gotten more competitive in terms of pricing and I prefer to buy toiletries, small home decor items and even groceries here. Especially with the toiletries, there's better choices and more importantly, things are actually in stock at Target vs. you-know-who. read more

This is my favorite most awesome Target store eva! I grew up coming here and I still love it. They have a little bit of everything including a food section. They do NOT have alcohol which is sad but it will not take away everything else it offers. The store is very clean, organized, friendly employees, never had an issue with their customer service and everything has just been great. They have a Starbucks inside, you can pick up a drink to enjoy during your shopping trip and they also have a Pizza Hut with personal pizzas and bread sticks, yum-mo! Needed to get some Strawberry Ensure, Target sometimes has a 5 dollar gift certificate when you buy so many of them here. The did the have that deal this time, but they did have it on the toilet paper. I checked out with the toilet paper and got the gift card, then my wife checked out using the gift card with the rest of the stuff we bought. The people here are generally nice, the store is clean, just a bit cramped compared to the newer super targets. read more

This is your average Target, that looks and feels like any other Target. It's location makes it easily accessible, and nearby other large department stores that help with price comparison or even taking care of your multi-store shopping spree. It has a huge parking spot, but because it stares it with other stores, be careful of the increase in traffic (especially those insane 'I'm-in-a-parking-lot-so-I-don't-need-to-follow-any-rules' kind of drivers). They are well-stocked and clean, with quick service. So far, I haven't had any issues so far that required additional or managerial help, so I can't really comment on their level of response to those kind of issues, but everything else seems on par with the service Target is known to provide. read more

Ashton in the tech department deserves this review. Great customer service was hilarious in the Christmas spirit made my shopping enjoyable.

They have giant red balls made out of concrete lined up along the front walkway of the store. They are about one meter in height and diameter. These I've found to be perfect for dancing on, or jumping off of. read more

Target is good as you almost always know what you are going to get. This store setup I find to be a little different than other stores and I have a little harder time finding things. Most of that is probably because I am not used this large grocery store set up and I am mostly shopping at the smaller stores. The store is nicely lit and always very clean. read more

This is a great Target store in the area. If you ever have time on your lunch break or during the day, it is super quick and painless. They seem to have enough help, which as we know at Target can be a huge blessing. Manager could not figure out how to redeem a Sonicare electric toothbrush coupon that I had printed out dircetly from Philips website. Manager told me that the $30 coupon was not valid. The toothbrush was $169. I did not buy the toothbrush. I took my business a few stores down to Best Buy. Manager at Best Buy quickly redeemed the $30 coupon. Toothbrush was also $169 at Best Buy. Besides toothbrush, I bought Instax Mini 9 camera and accessories at Best Buy, so this was Target's loss, and I will not be inclined to go to Target as my first choice next time. Manager should have tried harder to redeem coupon. Maybe tried contacting Philips, instead of just assuming the coupon was counterfeit. read more
