I really enjoy shopping at this Kohl's store. Whenever I am in town, I try to swing by before heading back to Chicago. I always find easy parking. The lot is always clean. During the winter it is always plowed so the snow and ice are not a deterrent. Sometimes lately brick and mortar stores look a little bare. They never seem to be fully stocked. This Kohl's location has every department full of great looking items. Everything is displayed nicely and is organized beautifully. This makes it so much easier to shop. Sephora has a large footprint toward the front of the store. It's big & bright and draws you in. I wanted to buy everything. I ended up getting some really nice candles on sale. They look and smell terrific. And being on sale made it even better. At check out, the young girl who assisted me was INCREDIBLE!! She was friendly and personable. She chatted and told me she wanted to make my day brighter! Thank you Kohl's management for hiring this wonderful girl. So many times customer service takes a hit but she made my experience even better than it already was. read more

I like this Kohl's, and I prefer Kohl's over the other department store chains because it's sort of local. This one is clean and well organized with some helpful employees even in the dreaded holiday season. Parking is okay though walking in the parking lot can be a little dangerous as some people driving through the parking lot have to text. Why that can't wait until in the parking space with the ignition off is beyond me. The store is neither the largest nor the smallest of Kohl's, it's kind of a Goldilocks size for me. Maybe it's my timing but I find more suitable men's clearance and sale items here than other Kohl's. read more

I went there today looking for some shorts. I picked out two pair and went to go try them on. I was in line with several people behind me. The person in the waiting room came out and the person in front of me went in to try on her clothes as normal. The next person came out and I went in to try on my clothes then came out with both pair to go make my purchase. As the person was walking into the dressing room I had just walked out of, the dressing room attendant stopped her and said "let me check that dressing room to make sure there are no clothes". I am Black, the people before and after me were Caucasian. I am upset at the "checking" the dressing room behind the only black person for clothes imply stealing. I did not say anything because I didn't want to make a scene, however, I spoke to the manager. These types of behaviors that Stereotype certain people should not still be happening still today. I am hurt, upset and embarrassed that this still happens. As a successful Black woman married with children that works hard and teaches my children to do the same, it hurts to know that no matter how hard I work to be respected by all, I will always be seen as something negative in the eyes of certain people. I plan on emailing their corporate office so they are aware of the behaviors that are happening in their Kenosha WI store. I notified Stephanie, the manager that was there today, so hopefully this is addressed. read more

Very nice and organized store. Upon arrival I noticed how welcoming the store is, sections are well organized and super clean, staff is super friendly, cashiers are quick and smiling. It was a quick trip to the store and a good experience, I was able to find what I needed in no time. :) read more

There I was salting the walkway when the next thing I know my neighbor shows up with a brand new cadillac and asks if I want to go for a ride. Sure I thought, nothing wrong with a quick car ride, right? Wrong! lol! He whisked me away to Green Bay WI! When I finally figured out we weren't in IL anymore I asked him to stop at Kohls so I could take advantage of the lower WI sales tax. He agreed it was a great idea! We got separated in the store and I was looking for the restroom but made a wrong turn and ended up in the maintenance department. Turns out they were having their little holiday get together and I ended up sipping egg nog with them, singing carols and eating warm cobbler! I got paged up to the front of the store where my concerned neighbor was waiting for me. The wife almost put out a missing persons report on me and after I calmed her down she agreed that I actually made a pretty smart business decision and we laughed pretty hard! Of course she wasn't that mad after I showed her the new mittens I had purchased! lol! read more

Stay far away at Christmas time and ordering on line. Pick up is at the front of the store and then they call someone in the back to bring it up. Totally slow and inconvenient. Employees are frustrated and slow. Poor set up. read more

Went here to look at the selection of wedding bands a week ago. The lady that worked in Jewelry was very rude and snippy. Everytime I would ask to see a ring, she would act like I was taking up too much of her precious time. I reported her to the manager shortly after, and the manager assured me it would be taken care of. If people give you attitudes or are rude, you don't have to take that BS. Go above their head and report them. read more

I love this place. No matter what I need or don't they have it. Found the cutest black sweater dress in the 80% off rack today. Lots of bargains in the store right now. My wallet always goes farther here and I feel great wearing it all. Have fun any day of the week here. read more

Today I went to get a few items and I was shocked at the bill it was $151 just for some undergarments and two belts flip flops and one tee shirt for my son. Last time I went to Kohl's was about a year and a half ago because I think the prices are too high and honestly JC Penneys has a much better value and you could buy more stuff for cheaper. I have been shopping here for years and have often had to deal with unpleasant customer service reps when I'm returning something. Today was my last straw. I stood in line for a long time, only one person at the desk, while another floated nearby doing nothing. Finally on my turn I put my box down on the counter without a greeting from her. Then she mumbled something and I said "I'm sorry?" and she loudly proclaimed that they weren't supposed to take boxes anymore. I said I'd be happy to take it with me and she unsmilingly said no. Then she handed me my receipt and the return receipt unstapled. I said "Oh could you staple those together?" She hesitated but then did it and handed it to me resentfully. There have been many experiences similar to this and I have always chalked it up to bad management, but now I'm done. I'll go to the Kohls in Gurnee but then I'll probably shop at Macy's instead since I'm there and it's much better quality. read more

My coat was falling apart and over a year old which I bought from kòhls and didn't have a receipt, they had no problem whatsoever to give me an in store credit. Also one time I brought in expired coupons by accident and they honored them I was willing to go home, but they had no problem. read more

Store is dirty, clothes are all over the floor.! Associates are no where to be found. I tried in clothes and when I came out I was followed by some girl until I reached the door (wasn't the first time this happened). I Suspect that she was loss prevention or something trying to catch me stealing. read more
