I came in with a screen glitch on my iPhone. This was stressful for me as my medical device is fully controlled from my phone. (Before anyone comes at me, yes I have backup options, they just are not as effective.) The young man quoted me and told me to come back in a couple hours. I expressed my concern with it controlling my medical device and he told me he would get it done ASAP. I sat in the shop and read my book while the shop kitty slept in my lap. What I witnessed over the next hour was impressive to say the least. He was the only employee. Person after person poured into the shop. One after the other he took the time to address what they needed and was polite and patient with them even when the person did not deserve it. He finished my replacement in an hour. An hour, that's it. In that hour not only did he replace my screen beautifully, he answered the phone, assisted customers with finding products, assisted customers with their phone issues, and answered customer questions. This young man did the job of at least four employees. I regret that I did not catch his name. If the business sees this review, I was there on 6/25/26 from 4pm-5pm. If anyone from that date and time leave a poor review on the business, please feel free to assume they are the customers that did not deserve this young man's patience or politeness. Highly recommend this business!

Not today though lol I don't know what the guys name is but if cricket wireless even cares at all, I guess you can look and see who is on the schedule today in grass Valley. Literally walked in and the place smelled like weed. The guy was talking on his phone and I told him "hey don't worry about it. You can have another minute". He came out with a very condescending and snarky attitude when I told him I wanted to get new service and get new phones. He told me that even though I had been using cricket service under my exes plan that even if I came here getting my own service with my own name and my own credit card and my own new lines without transferring my number that that wouldn't count and I could just pay the $300 for the new phones and there would be no deal for me. he also didn't even look into whether I had an upgrade or not for this. He just argued with me and was a complete jerk. I find all of this very interesting because I was just in last week and somebody else told me that they absolutely could do that and even check. Unfortunately Gmail 2 step verification ask you to check your phone to log in. Phone was still a brick, NO FAULT of Verizon or Trevor. Thanks Trevor and Thanks Verizon!

But as she's putting my phone in the case, I'm looking at the screen and it's asking me to tip and it's giving me a 15% 20% and 25% I think tip? And I opted to not tip. And I thought OK - she was lovely but is this necessary? If the battery cost $20 or less and then the service to put the battery in is $100 and it took her a half hour then they're making $200 an hour. I've never been to a Cellphone repair place where they asked me to tip. And I'm nervous to go back. I just want my phone the way it was when I brought it in yesterday except for the new battery. They did not communicate any risk of losing functionality of anything in or on my phone, replacing a battery. Thank you
