I highly recommend Phone Medic on North Avenue in GJ for your cell phone & tablet repairs!…read more On the day I was there, Mitch was amazing. He worked solo for the several hours I was around & although things were really hopping, he was always polite, professional, and proficient. He replaced the screens on both of my iPhones, and did the written assessment required by my cell phone insurance company for one. (If only the insurance claim were settled as quickly as the phone was fixed, right?!) Mitch patiently answered several phone inquiries because T-Mobile service was inexplicably down for several hours. He patiently and thoroughly answered questions from Phone Medic customers, both over the phone and in person. He helped me find the phone cases I wanted and even upsold me on the bulletproof screen protectors which were on sale at BOGO 1/2 off. (This was kinda something as I am not normally able or willing to pay retail prices.) More recently I returned to Phone Medic twice - once to have the screen protector replaced and a second time to have the screen of an old iPad replaced. (Yeah, I drop stuff.) Great, friendly service both times. Very happy with their service!

Complete scam with bait and switch told me one price and refused to give him my phone unless I paid them more. The police will be notified.

He commented on my attitude shortly after my husband and I sat down. He asked my name and phone #, then proceeded to tell me that there were no deals attached to my account. I told him he was wrong, that I had just done a trade in deal at a different store and had our new phones sent to us. We were directed to drop our trade-ins at any AT&T store. He was very upset that I told him his business. Berated me for questioning his preformance and ability and then proceeded to speak over me to my husband and call me 'her' instead of using my name, which he knew from asking me and looking at my account. He then called me 'her' 3 additional times. He was dismissive, threatening and clearly preturbed that I wasn't giddy with excitement at his 'customer service'. Here's the thing. He doesn't know me or my situation. I admit I wasn't jovial, but my mood isn't any of his business. His job is to provide me with amazing customer service and not judge my attitude. I have been with AT&T since 1998 and I have never considered leaving AT&T until today. I have been into to stores close to a hundred times, (I have 5 phones lines on my account) and this is the first time I have had to deal with a rude associate. I will obiviously never go to this particular store again. Be warned...if you arn't smiling... the rude, chauvinistic, mean, salesperson, Leo will not enhance your ATT experience...he will make you want to go to T-MOBILE!

In August of this year, I visited an AT&T store in Grand Junction, CO, to set up four new lines…read more While assisting me, the representative suggested I also consider switching my home internet to AT&T's new 5G Wireless service, claiming it would be just as good as my current provider. I was assured that I could try the service risk-free for a week, and if I wasn't satisfied, I could return the equipment without being charged. Shortly after receiving the equipment in the mail, I installed it and ran a speed test to compare it to my existing internet. The results were disappointing--the speed was not even half of what I was currently getting. I immediately packed up the AT&T equipment and sent it back the next day. Since my bill was on autopay, I assumed that returning the equipment would resolve everything. However, I later discovered that AT&T continued to charge me monthly even though they received the equipment--something a representative confirmed on the phone today (12/16/2024). When I asked for a refund, they told me I needed to have officially canceled the service either by phone or through the website, in addition to returning the equipment. To make matters worse, they claimed they could only issue a refund if I provided the UPS return receipt, despite already confirming they had received the equipment. They insisted this was company policy and that nothing could be done without it. This entire situation has been incredibly frustrating. I expected better customer service and accountability from AT&T. As a result, I'm taking my business elsewhere, and I hope AT&T reconsiders policies like this that only serve to drive customers away.

WARNING: I drove 65 miles to have the battery in my Samsung Galaxy S23 replaced at this location…read more Before leaving my phone, I photographed its condition. After the repair, the back cover was not seated properly, adhesive was visible around the edges, and all four corners of the frame had new cosmetic damage that was not present before the repair. I contacted the company and later spoke with the general manager. During that conversation, he repeatedly stated that I would receive a full refund by the close of business that Friday and that a refund receipt would be emailed to me. No refund or confirmation email was received. After contacting the NJ corporate office, a pending refund was issued. Today that pending refund was canceled. I gave the company an opportunity to resolve the issue before posting a review. Based on my experience with the repair quality and the failure to follow through on the promised resolution, I cannot recommend this location.
