He worked solo for the several hours I was around & although things were really hopping, he was always polite, professional, and proficient. He replaced the screens on both of my iPhones, and did the written assessment required by my cell phone insurance company for one. (If only the insurance claim were settled as quickly as the phone was fixed, right?!) Mitch patiently answered several phone inquiries because T-Mobile service was inexplicably down for several hours. He patiently and thoroughly answered questions from Phone Medic customers, both over the phone and in person. He helped me find the phone cases I wanted and even upsold me on the bulletproof screen protectors which were on sale at BOGO 1/2 off. (This was kinda something as I am not normally able or willing to pay retail prices.) More recently I returned to Phone Medic twice - once to have the screen protector replaced and a second time to have the screen of an old iPad replaced. (Yeah, I drop stuff.) First he pointed out that the charger was broken (I hadn't noticed) and sold me a new one at a very reasonable price. He and his coworkers then tested the flashlight battery to confirm it was holding a charge. The other gentlemen who worked there had impressive beards and demeanors...very pleasant and helpful. They cleaned it off, checked my battery and confirmed it was in good shape, then added a red sealant to reduce the chance of corrosion again! And best of all- they did all this for free! 10/10! He commented on my attitude shortly after my husband and I sat down. He asked my name and phone #, then proceeded to tell me that there were no deals attached to my account. I told him he was wrong, that I had just done a trade in deal at a different store and had our new phones sent to us. We were directed to drop our trade-ins at any AT&T store. He was very upset that I told him his business. Berated me for questioning his preformance and ability and then proceeded to speak over me to my husband and call me 'her' instead of using my name, which he knew from asking me and looking at my account. He then called me 'her' 3 additional times. He was dismissive, threatening and clearly preturbed that I wasn't giddy with excitement at his 'customer service'. Here's the thing. He doesn't know me or my situation. I admit I wasn't jovial, but my mood isn't any of his business. His job is to provide me with amazing customer service and not judge my attitude. I have been with AT&T since 1998 and I have never considered leaving AT&T until today. I have been into to stores close to a hundred times, (I have 5 phones lines on my account) and this is the first time I have had to deal with a rude associate. I will obiviously never go to this particular store again. Be warned...if you arn't smiling... the rude, chauvinistic, mean, salesperson, Leo will not enhance your ATT experience...he will make you want to go to T-MOBILE!
