Me and my mom went to go see if there was a problem with my phone while there was a nationwide outage today January 14, 2026. The person working there had nothing but attitude. My mother is a very nice dainty af woman and she was very calm and she had some questions because she was confused, there was another Asian lady there as well and she was being very sweet and she had questions because she was confused. They were both met with customer service that felt like we didn't matter and their questions were too stupid to be asked. In today's society with the fkd up administration that we have the last thing that we need is someone in customer service who can't suck it up and do their job and just be kind and answer these old freaking women's questions without making them feel like they shouldn't be asking them in the first place because they should just know these things. I get it, old people are annoying with technology but you don't have to be an ahole about it especially when that's your job. Everyone is going through shit. There was a man who looked like he came from work and skipped his lunch for this problem. It was just awful customer service. Train your workers better, everyone is going through shit yet we still find ways to be kind. Not to mention the worker tried to talk down to me saying that if I go home I'll have Wi-Fi. I just came from my house that did not have Wi-Fi. Also Verizon you do suck in general, don't think people can't put two and two together on why the service is down for some people.

Anyways, I messaged the company and got a quick response. Next thing I knew I had an appointment with Josh to get my iPhone 6 phone screen replaced. He agreed to meet me at a Barnes and Noble conveniently located 2 minutes away from my work. I met with him during my lunch break and was done with the whole process in under 30 mins! Threw my water bottle upside down in my Herschel Backpack - If you own a Herschel, you know that there is a separate velvety, soft compartment to put your lap top in. As I was walking towards my law school, I felt wetness on the bottom of my backpack. At this point I am praying to God that water bottle did not spill in my lap top compartment. YOU GUESSED IT; IT DID. Of course, my MacBook Pro did not turn on the whole day; handwritten my notes for the rest of the day. Meltdown; heart palpitations. End of Classes, 3/22/17 @3:35 PM: I'm now at the Apple Store in World Trade Center. In the edge of tears. Long story short, they could not fix my computer and my best bet is to look for an independent company to recover my data. I may not be a doctor or a scientist looking for the cure to cancer. But, as a law school student who is about to graduate in May 2017, who is also a clerk at a firm in NJ and a judicial law clerk for a Judge in NY, my notes and work product = HOLY GRAIL Home, 3/33/17 @ 4:25 PM: Performed one google search after another to look for a company that I can trust to recover my data. After a plethora of results and semi-convincing people telling me that I have to ship my laptop to various places, i.e. St. Louis; California; etc., I knew that I needed to find a person who I can personally and physically see, speak to, and interact with. I am too paranoid and skeptical for my own good and was simply not comfortable to ship my MacBook to anyone. Found someone local. Spoke to previous clients for a reference and found that his turnaround time may not be as quick as I want it to be. Helpless and hopeless - NEED MY MACBOOK FIXED ASAP. @ 5:45 PM: Found Intrepid - Josh's company with amazing reviews. Called him. He texted back because he could not pick up. He was able to ask me relevant questions right off the bat and was able to give me a little bit of comfort, but not too much hope. He did not want to over promise and under deliver, I later found. I made an appointment with him for Thursday, 3/23/2017 at 6pm. Thursday 3:23 @ 6PM: YES HE IS MOBILE. YES HE COMES TO YOU. He arrived at my house right on time. He even offered to take his shoes off, which I really appreciate since we do not wear shoes in the house. He got right to work and was prepared. He was thorough, quick, smart, and very efficient. When he tells you that he will be done in an hour, that is literally the case. YES MY DATA WAS RECOVERED AND I AM NOW A NORMAL PERSON AGAIN!!! Thanks to Josh, I have all of my data and my hard drive is now safe and secure. For those of you who are wondering: my MacBook is no longer usable. But, that is NOT why I needed Josh. My MacBook was the least of my worries. I bought it in 2010 and should I not able to be used again, I did not mind. All I cared about was my data, which Josh DID save, recovered, and even gave me a little storing container and pouch to store my hard drive in. I now have ALL of my data recovered from my hard drive AND the proud owner of a pretty and shiny MacBook Pro with touchbar as an (early) graduation gift from my parents =) =) I am forever indebted to Josh and WILL call him whenever I need any technical support. I asked; he availed himself. Prompt; knowledgeable; polite; competent; thorough; reasonably priced; responsive; accommodating = ONE OF A KIND. THANK YOU JOSH!

He installed amazing speakers on our screened porch, a SONOS system programmed/wired in to all of the rooms with speakers, purchased both an amp and receiver for us and installed our large, flat screen TV and programmed our universal remote and all laptops/ iPhones/iPads to use with the Sonos system, allowing our iPhones to act as remotes throughout our home. He saved us money where spending was unnecessary, was always punctual, incredibly neat and very talented. He was also open to my quick texts and emails with follow-up questions, always answering in a patient manner. Could not recommend Chris and Sight & Sound more highly.

After years as a loyal customer (cable, home security, mobile), this was the worst experience I've had with any company. I scheduled a simple camera replacement and upgrade--was quoted a price, confirmed everything--and when the technician showed up, there was no work order. Three technician visits later, the same issues: wrong orders, missing equipment, and zero progress. The technicians were great, but completely held back by Xfinity's broken system. Customer service is even worse--AI-driven, outsourced, and completely ineffective. No one understands the issue, and you'll waste hours repeating yourself with no resolution. No accountability, no urgency--just frustration. Xfinity is great at selling you services, but terrible at actually delivering or supporting them. I'm canceling everything. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
