One very rude associate. A younger male employee very kind but was struggling with my account. A very rude female employee, leaned in to help , after she had scolded an elderly couple for not listening. She asked for my phone number and as I was speaking the number she rudely interrupted and said YOUR PHONE NUMBER?? I said that's what I'm giving you, which she replies that I didn't have to speak that slowly. She shut down and when I tried to explain I was reading the number off of my phone and sometimes a bit dyslexic so I read slowly. She retreated to the back with her colleague and proceeded to say rude things regarding the incident as I overheard her saying she almost lost her job right there. I cancelled my order there and left. That young lady may have been having a bad day but her team should have stepped up to support me the customer. 5 stars for Chandler, the person who helped me with replacing my 8-year-old iPhone 7. He was knowledgeable and set me up with what I needed. Only 2 stars for Verizon because they do keep the cellular system working. We've been with Verizon since the beginning, when it was just a Baby Bell, and we were with Bell before that. But Verizon offers no discount for loyal (25+ years) customers. My phone was old, so no trade-in, and no discount whatsoever, full retail price. I will explore changing carriers. read more

Because I never used the first one (that I never received). And pay off debt with the gift card. I came in and asked for advice on the apple 12 and helped extensively. I enjoyed my time here. I had no wait and no other guests were in the store on a Saturday. I came in a Friday evening at 5 pm and was helped immediately and met at the door. The manager helped me with access to my old Verizon account even though I had recently switched to another cell carrier. They were patient and helpful. Both I and my fiancé started services with Verizon under a business account back in November. When they signed us up, the rep placed all devices within a protection plan that we didn't have knowledge of or agree to. We found out about these events due to us not being able to access our account, "stating that we were restricted due to business account (still the same results as of today - 03/29/2022) When we came into the store to speak with rep, we found out that my old iPhone XR that I traded in for a $800.00 credit to my new iPhone had not been applied. Instead, it was applied to my fiancés phone which is incorrect. We are still waiting for it to be corrected and both in store and customer service support have yet to correct this problem since November. Moving forward, we received a notice from Verizon that our bill was behind and that we had an outstanding balance of $700+ dollars. We were confused because we hadn't had the service for a full 2 months yet and our bill is suppose to be $230. We paid the initial late amount of $450 to get our phones cut back on. Come to find out, their system charge us twice for the $450. When we called customer service to talk about the bill, we realized the severity of Verizon's failures. They had charged for services we hadn't signed up for, they still had yet to apply my trade in credit of $800.00 to my iPhone, we still couldn't access the account due to their system errors of an old account and the list goes on. Fast forward, we spoke to Verizon last month (Feb 2022) regarding the same issues. Nothing has been fixed. We also found out that we now owe $900+ on our account after continuously speaking with them for several months. Confused, they stated that they were applying a $600 credit to our account and that they were correcting all account issues we expressed. Fast forward again, we just spoke with Verizon today (03/29/2022) and nothing has been addressed. We still owe $900+ and they cut our services. Each rep knows nothing & all they care to do is collect payment. We were told that our account was up in dispute and that our service lbs would not be cut off until resolved. We were also informed that Verizon would be calling us back to correct all issues regarding the dispute that we placed. This dispute was suppose to last till June 2022 or until we heard back from customer service with a solution to the problem. Well, obviously this complaint is evidence that nothing has been corrected and we are very unsatisfied with Verizon and their whole team. read more

Verizon has completely screwed us over. We run a business and have never been treated so badly! I see how fraudulent bills are sent to collections on people but this is crazy to be happening to me. I sign up in the store, the rep put all kinds it's extra cost insurances on my account she never explained.... Also went back a second time to get this fixed and no one could help. Looked like the manager looked over and ignored as the new rep gave us the customer loyalty line number. This is how the credit came about...the local company also never applied the trade in credit to the right account. We checked with another store and was told the phone was never shipped in- it must have been sitting on the counter of someone's desk still.. Months later after several calls and showing up to stores with no help, they applied the trade in to the wrong phone on the account. They had all kind off things on our bill we did not ask for. Now a bill of 985.00 they want us to pay after the agreed to credit the bill $600 with no credit to be seen or shown. It's utterly ridiculous and I'm so over this company and their lack of customer service. All the promises and records of notes they have on their account to fix it and yet still nothings, i have yet to even been able to log in to my Verizon business account. Clicking the bill it says please call customer service to access this account. So basically they cut the phones off for non payment, have the bill incorrect and have not delivered on any of their promises! I've never experienced so much frustration with a company. The rep in creve Coeur store from the beginning also seem to only care about how quick she could get sales and sign us up for everything they had incorrectly. These folks are crazy! Then they said pay the 985 and we will turn the phone back because the credit chasing applied yet?! What??? Who has 1,000 to just give with promise to get it back as a credit that never came!!! Now we're being told that they'll credit in 3 hours when it was suppose to be done by weeks / months ago. At this point they need to just wipe the entire bill away and start over with us! That would satisfy my expectations from such a large scamming company. As of now, I have no phone service and another promise of nothing as all of them have been broken. 4th visit to Verizon in 2 weeks or so. yesterday, went to return new phones we hated. last night, husband could not receive calls. today..the same. so, once again to verizon after their online chat was useles..the call was dropped. yesterday the store manager helped me. however, after new phone was disabled for return, the old phone was never re-activated. hence..no phoning receiving or sending. folks..this is not rocket science. anyways, now his phone is working. I will pray to the cell phone gods that I never have to return to this store... Middle of the day, store full of customers, and three (not one, three!) of the sales staff decide to demonstrate some remote controlled helicopter instead of waiting on customers! My husband complained, and received comments of agreement from two other customers. Once the salesperson who helped me realized that my company has an account worth the real estate value of the city of Chesterfield (his comparison, not mine), he was as nice as could be. My mother, at almost 70 years old, is one of the strongest and independent people I know. She had some questions about her bill, so I told her to go into the Verizon store and someone would help her. She went to the Verizon store in Creve Coeur today, and left in tears because of mistreatment by a sales associate named Thomas. Nothing handled. No help. Just frustration and tears due to Thomas' arrogance and annoyance with her. It is a shame that the elderly are mistreated and discriminated when they are reaching out for help. I'm not a fan of publicly complaining about a company without a legitimate reason; so writing this review isn't something that comes lightly for me. But after the awful experience my parents and I had here yesterday, I had to post my thoughts. Let me caveat this story by saying my family and I have been loyal Verizon customers for YEARS. And we typically have positive experiences with the store and their service representatives. However, yesterday, I went into Verizon's Creve Coeur store, hoping they might be able to help me with my palm pre phone. The battery, which is less than a year old, has quickly deteriorated to the point that it won't even last HALF a day without needing to charge it. Now, let me point out that my job requires me to be on call 24/7. If I don't have a functional phone, there would likely be some pretty bad ramifications for me. So, the fact that I can't trust my Palm Pre to last a full day is a major issue. I brought this issue to the manager on duty at the Creve Coeur store, who essentially told me that all Palm Pre phones have bad batteries and I'm stuck with it until the 20 month point of my contract when I can get a new phone. So, I ask - if you're telling me this was a bad phone to begin with, why wouldn't I have the option to exchange the phone for a different model today? He responds - I never said it was a bad phone. Really? So a phone that has a bad battery can still be good? REALLY? Because I'm fairly certain if a phone doesn't have a working battery it doesn't matter one bit what jazzy things it can do, because it won't have power to do them. Well, we went around and around on this for awhile, he tells us we can file an insurance claim (which, BTW, has a higher deductible than purchasing a new battery for the stupid thing); finally, my mom asks why my sister, who also has a similarly crappy phone, went into the Verizon store in Davenport, Iowa and was given a new battery, no questions asked? He tried to explain it, and finally we asked if he would just give me a new battery. After a few more minutes of painful back and forth, he finally agreed to send me a new battery. I hope none of you have to go through an experience like this. Having to argue with someone who was supposedly in charge of the store was sadly unfortunate. Not once did he apologize for the poor quality of the product, nor did he try to proactively help me find a reasonable resolution to my problem. This incident has left a bad taste in my mouth. Over the years, we all have had frustrating experiences at cell phone provider stores. This Verizon location is a refreshing model of customer service. I've been using the Creve Coeur Verizon store for my last few purchases, and the staff is really knowledgeable and helpful. While I'm sure that there are times when they get really busy, I've had great luck the last few times and didn't have to wait at all. I will always visit this Verizon store now because of Jenny, the Verizon specialist who helped me today. I went in to upgrade my phone and the activation of my new phone was not as simple as she and I expected. However, Jenny helped me through the entire process and was absolutely amazing. She was so patient and spent so much time trouble shooting the activation process. I left the store with a working phone and everything worked out seamlessly. Jenny, thank you for the best customer service I have ever had in my 15+ years as a Verizon customer and I appreciate your time. Accepted a preorder for a new iPad prior to the release date and had one ready for me. Staff was aware of who I was and why I was there upon identifying myself on day of pickup. They had no problems with the fact that I had no interest in their cases or accessories and activated my account quickly. It was very busy and only two other reps were working there, he greeted me in a very flamboyant manner, which I found to be disturbing and very unprofessional, the man was almost flirting with me. Im here to shop for a new phone and not feel like I'm in a gay club. Made me feel so uncomfortable that I ended up leaving. Will never shop here again. Many of the negative reviews for this store are old. I'm so glad I didn't try to do business here a few years ago. If I'd read the reviews beforehand, I most certainly wouldn't have done business here. But I did do business twice this year, and was VERY pleased. Today I returned to replace my phone because I'm an idiot and managed to place it in a cup of coffee. Again, the same crowd-manager approached us as we entered, took my name for her waiting list, and kept us informed of how long before it was my turn. After a few minutes, it was clear by her responses that the rep who tried to help us was new and not so experienced. We asked to see Jake, who'd helped us the last time we visited. Jake knows the technical side of the equipment he sells; Jake knows the plethora of plans and offerings and quickly can choose one to fit his clients' needs; Jake thinks outside the box to solve potential problems beforehand; Jake exudes integrity. What the heck more does anyone want? Nirvana! My needs were served. And that savvy crowd-manager? When she thought I'd been there a while (remember, we opted to wait for Jake), she doubled back to see how she could brighten my experience by offering me water or directions to the powder room. It takes very good management to hire, train, and retain excellent people, and this office is doing it right! read more

I had gone to another store in a different state because of the friends and family plan. The out of state store had me believing a lot of things that were just too good to be true. I cannot remember the individual I talked to in Creve Coeur but they set me straight on what I would and would not be able to do. I did not like hearing this but it is what I needed to hear. The individual then gave me alternative products that were close to what I was looking for and even told me things that they had done to solve the problem. Unfortunately, I went to this location in the fall of 2012. I should have followed the advice of other reviewers and stayed away, but I didn't, and here's what happened: I've had Verizon for over 6 years, without an incident, but last year my phone began to die. No biggie, it was an older model, made by a less than reputable brand, and I was due for a upgrade so I popped into this store. I found a phone that I liked and met my very specific qualifications. The transaction and the upgrade went smoothly, and I went on my way. That evening, I noticed my calls were dropping. I didn't think much about it, thinking that it may have been an issue with switching over to a new phone. The problem persisted for several days, so I returned to the store. After getting shuffled between a few different people, I was met with a fairly imcompetent technician. I was told my calls were dropping because of an app I downloaded, I countered that the problem started before I downloaded the app. (It was a recommended app by Verizon, btw.) Back and forth for about 30 minutes, I was told it was my SIM card. I didn't understand how sporadic dropping could be a SIM card problem, but at the point I was willing to believe. The phone problems continued after installing a new card. I returned the next day, waved to the people I had seen 24 hours earlier and was promptly told to wait. I can understand the need for order in a store, but when a customer has been in twice in the past week, you'd think they would expediate things. But no, I had to wait, retell my story, and ask for help. I was given all sorts of excuses and told all about Verizon's policies, all of which failed to acknowledge this location had sold me a broken phone. I was first told that they would order me a new phone and it would be shipped to my home. That would not work for me, I required a phone for work, and having a non-usable phone was begining to effect my job performance. Queue another round of debate, where I was assured this was Verizon policy, until the manager decided to something "extraordinary" and replace my phone. Exhausted, but satisfied, I left. That evening, my new phone began showing the same issues. A quick round of Googling proved that the problem was with the phone, and that many people were having this issue. The next day, I returned to the store, and had to wait again. Here, I flat out told Verizon I was unsatisfied with the product they are selling. The young lady behind the counter was apologetic and did some research: she admitted that the phone series was defective, and they was a patch on the way, but it could take several weeks. Obviously, that would not work for me. There were various models in the same price range, but none matched my specifications, the and next model up that had what I needed was an extra $50 dollars. Out comes the manager, who first told me there was no problem with the phone. I told her the assistant had confirmed it, and the glare she delivered to that poor girl proved that I was not dealing with a trustworthy person. Here comes another hour of negociation, ending with me forking out $50 and all respect I have for Verizon. You'd think a reasonable company would be willing to eat the money after subjecting a long-time customer 8 hours of in-store frustration and keeping them from working for over a week, but sadly no. After the fact, I contacted a friend who worked for Verizon and was told that the store had acted inappropriately. Verizon knew the phones were defective, and that the manager could have easily cleared a 50 dollar rebate, they just chose not to. In fact, he'd never heard of a customer having such a difficult time; the management clearly was being unreasonable. After this experience, I'll be leaving Verizon the day my contract is up, and it's due solely to the actions of this store. I advise others to learn from my mistake, and stay away. They are not reputable and do not have the customers intrest in mind. read more

I went to this location to get my phone replaced. I talked to the manager, Casey, who was very nice on the phone, I explained to him I would be on my hour lunch break for work so I needed to set up an appointment. When I got there, Bryan, came up to me to see what I was coming in for. When I explained that I needed to get my phone replaced, he didn't care and started to sell me things I didn't want. I kept telling him I didn't have a lot of time and just wanted to get a replacement. Yet, he continued to flirt with me, which was not professional at all. Told me I had such beautiful skin, asked me what ethnicity I was, if I was married, etc. Then I caught him going through my instagram and all of my apps. He walked in the back with my phone, did not tell me why. So I asked another manager there if she could go to the back to see what he was doing with my phone, that he was looking through my instagram and apps without my permission. She told me that its apart of troubleshooting. I have had a phone replaced before and NEVER had the employee go through all of my personal apps. After I get my phone back from Bryan, he prints my receipt off and still does not care that I am on my lunch break and I don't want to be late for work and continues to try and sell me more products that I never asked about. This store is all about commission. They did not care about what I came in for and think its okay to flirt with customers.
