I did read some of the other reviews just now, and they may or may not be true, as is true of any reviews. My input is that we won't go to Best Buy or similar stores for any sort of computer repair. Went in today for a simple task that I have been to Verizon for before with zero problems. Today however my experience was very different. I downloaded the yelp app just to do this review as I cannot believe the way I was treated today. I'm not sure if the associate was incompetent or lazy or just lacks basic social skills (manners) needed to work with people. When I explained what I needed he immediately said he could not help. I continued to ask questions and he was very irritated by this. Every single thing I asked he just told me I couldn't do that (I was trying to switch phones) He treated me like I was stupid and I was wasting his time. He kept telling me I had to go to the apple store. (I've never had to go to the apple store for this before) My dad was also there and was told by this associate that he couldn't help him either. My dad went on to a different employee who was able to assist him. It seems like he just didn't want to help/be bothered/work with a non commission customer. I see now I'm not the only one that feels like the employees here are rude and not helpful. I just wish I had read these comments before I went in today. Save yourself the disappointment and headache and go to a different location. read more

Life has been nothing but HELL for me since I signed up with Verizon the Saturday before last. I was mad at AT&T, so I went to Verizon. They gave me an i6, one gig, and sent me not so merrily on my way. After 3 days, I went back to AT&T. I got 5 gigs for less than I was paying at Verizon. I returned the "device" (Phone) to Verizon and was charged a "restocking" fee of $35. I gave them back the phone. HOWEVER, they failed to notate it, so I'm still being charged for the device, to the tune of $660! Not only that, they sent me a bill for my first month's service, $94! Now I'm out almost $800! I want my money back! I'm calling my Attorney, First thing in the morning!!!!!!!! Run from Verizon, RUUUUUNNNNNNNN! read more

When I walked in, an employee named Marco, who was wearing glasses, was helping two customers. He never looked up to greet or acknowledge me. I stood in front of him for 5-10 minutes waiting for some acknowledgment, but he never said a word. I finally asked how long the wait would be, and he told me about 10 minutes. While I was waiting, he seemed to work very slowly, carrying on long conversations instead of trying to help the customers more efficiently. During that time, I saw two other customers walk in, realize no one was going to help them, and leave. After waiting about 15 minutes, he finally helped me, but there was no apology for the wait. I was there to purchase two new phones, and the process only took about five minutes. A couple of weeks later, I discovered that my trade-in had never been processed and several parts of my order had been handled incorrectly. This store needs to be reviewed by Verizon's corporate office. Customers deserve to be acknowledged when they walk in, treated with respect, and have their transactions completed correctly.
