Overall I really like the store I have been coming here for a couple years. They are very helpful and gave the best job that you can do. It is very clean organized with a fresh layout of all of the devices. My primary issue is with the poor reception and not being able to use my phone without Wi-Fi and more rural places. For a company that is supposed to have the best reception anywhere and is not doing a good job. I feel like I have been made promises that can never come true. read more

My husband came in to trade in a watch on an existing line. The associate that approached him told him his trade wasn't 'any good' without even looking at the watch. Then ,as they tried to access the account, my husband wasn't listed as an authorized account manager. That's fine, but they could have told him to contact me and have me change it. We live fairly far out from any Verizon store, so he nearly came all the way home when it was a two second fix. He went back in, the associate said he needed to pay the remaining balance of his current watch off prior to trading. My husband agreed, as we spoke about it the night before ,and I explained the process. My husband just returned home, and upon reviewing the receipts, they never processed the original watch as a trade in. So now we're stuck with a watch that no one will use, when we wanted it to go towards the balance of the new watch. These associates are either extremely under-trained, exceptionally incompetent, or just trying to screw people over. I have NEVER had a bad experience at a Verizon store, but maybe I'm just a bitch right out the gate and won't let them push me around. My husband didn't deserve this treatment, and I sure as hell shouldn't have to come out with him to make sure a PAID ASSOCIATE FOR THEIR COMPANY does their damn job. This has to be the slowest Verizon store I've ever been in. They help about one customer an hour it seems like. When they get done helping a customer, they just stand around or go in the back for several minutes. Called their direct number (423)-559-1942 and of course no one answers, they number will send you to the main Verizon with a stupid robot assistant asking you everything just short of what color of my under ware. Odd thing is, my caller ID was showing that this number was in Brazil, very strange, will keep an eye on my next bill and see if they will not charge me with an International call. It is a shame that a local business cannot answer their own phone, but it may be my luck day after seeing the reviews from this store, guess management got it down, was there in 2018 and had a 5 stars experience. read more

Absolutely the worst experience. I have been in this store twice to remove a line. All they will give you if a f*n number that no one will answer. I have called it three time and can never get through. They refuse to help. I am switching to a different company! Piss off Verizon. read more

I have Verizon Wireless so every now and then I have to come here. Especially when my cell phone or cell phone Accesories tear up or stop working. I don't like to come here because when I do it will costs me money. However, the customer service is great as they do help me in solving my problems. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because I received and like the product itself. I went there because I needed a new phone, and researched prior that I would get the SE iPhone which Verizon national said was under a promo. The salesman was in training, and had to get assistance from the female manager there every step of the way. My wife and I had a prepaid account for years, and I would usually go in to pay a few months in advance. When I told him I wanted a new phone (the SE) he quickly told me they didnt have any, then the manager tells me I couldn't get a new phone unless I brought my wife in, because the account is in her name. However because I needed the phone for work and my current one was not working, I told them I would be interested in looking at converting the plan to a standard plan. Conveniently, the manager goes to the back and finds 2 new SE iPhones which the guy said they had none of. miracle huh? At this point things are moving fast, they are not explaining anything, and the sales guy has no clue what he's doing so the manager has to double check everything. While she's doing that she is grabbing accessories of the shelf and ringing them up even though I'm telling her I'm looking to save money, completely ignoring anything I say or catering to my needs. The manager lady there is a straight-up hard core snake oil saleslady, and knows how to pull sales scams as the service occurs. I ended up getting what I needed, but had to watch and edit every step of the way. .....Long story short, if you do business here, check, verify and watch every step, they will scam you like a low-brow used car lot given a chance. .......Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the sales guy was burping up fish oil and cracking jokes about it in front of customers. read more

He showed me different ones and after his explanation of them, he helped me choose the one that would best meet my needs. This store lied to us about upgrading our plan, while i was upgrading my phone. And when we tried to change it back they said it was not possible. We are so close to changing providers, they will only give us the customer service number. They won't do anything either! read more

I switched back to Verizon from Boost (hated Boost Mobile). I have also been a customer of ATT and Sprint and will never use ATT again. Verizon always was a good service for me with great coverage, I just switched away to cheaper providers.... but sometimes a savings is not worth it and also Verizon now has less expensive plans (I used to pay $120 a month for one phone). I have been in this Cleveland store now about 5 times and every visit has gone quite well. Normally the wait is not too bad (one time it was). The service is spot on. I now have three phones with Verizon and love the Droid Turbo. read more

First, let me say, this review is specifically regarding the poor service I received at the store located on Paul Huff Pkway in Cleveland, TN. I can not say that it is indicative of the type of service that each of the sales reps at this store provides, but I can say that my experience did involve two sales associates and a manager. So this is how my experience went. I was transferring 4 lines of service from Sprint to come back to Verizon. When I inquired about what the cost would be to transfer and set up the 4 lines, I was given a written estimate by the initial associate that helped me, named Ya. He was very nice but promised a lot that he could not really deliver. I had to leave to get the 4 phones with Sprint unlocked and returned later to complete the transfer to Verizon. When going through the process, everything promised in the store turned out not to be true. The terms originally promised were not honored. The trade in value of my old phone was lowered from what was quoted on the phone. When I questioned it, he agreed and said he would help me by waiving the activation fees for the 4 lines. Of course he had never mentioned the activation fees before, until this point of the sale. I said, how is waiving activation fees that I knew nothing about, helping me with the reduced value of my trade in. So he finally agreed and said that he would give me a $40 phone credit for the trade-in (originally promised $120), and add the $160 in activation fees but then give me an offsetting credit of $240.00 to cover the additional phone credit and activation fees. He said this credit would show up on my second bill. This turned out to be untrue. I had to order my phone (11 Promax) and when I returned to pick it up, my sales rep, (Ya) was not in. I was told by a sales rep named Chance, that he couldn't help me and that I would have to return when Ya was in. He was obviously only interested in helping customers he could earn a sale from, and could care less of helping a new customer that wouldn't earn him a commission. Honestly, it is the rudest service I have ever received from a store like this. So, I took my new phone and went home and called the customer service department. That's how I learned that everything promised at the store by Ya, turned out to be untrue about the promised credits, etc. I will say, the customer service department, specifically Trish, was very straight forward about Verizon's real terms and offers. She went the extra mile to try and make right all of the false promises made at the store. This was a classic example of bait and switch by this particular Verizon location. I would never recommend this store, but am happy to say that at least the call center(Trish) did as much as possible to honor the original promises and fix the store's mistakes. So, I give one star to the store, and 3.5 stars to Verizon overall. If you go to this store, I would get your quotes in writing, so you can make sure they honor it. The good ole days of people doing what they promise are long gone. read more

I went to this store today seeking assistance with a phone set-up. The store associate Adrienne had no intention of doing anything of the sort! Even the Verizon and Apple person I spoke with couldn't understand why she didn't want to help. She had me take some notes about my Apple ID and added a screen protector. Which she seemed like inconvenienced her. I guess if your not outright purchasing a phone from her then your Not Important. Sad that customer care has come to this! Especially since we've been with Verizon for over 10 years! That could change if this is how they treat loyal customers. read more

(EDIT) I went back to the store about my bill.... they said they fixed it. I admit i was irritated and the sales person told me he could help if i quit yelling at him...i didnt think i was that loud but who knows.....] I have been to this store three times. The first time I went because my granddaughter broke her tablet. The sales person told me the insurance didn't cover it so I got a new tablet. When my bill came low and behold I have a new phone number attached to my bill from the new tablet. I didn't ask for another number just a new tablet. The second time I went there was to get an upgrade for my phone. I told the sales person what I wanted, she comes from the back with not only the phone but an expensive case and a charger. I asked why she brought that stuff out and she says "The case is to protect your expensive new phone and the other was a charger. (FYI there is a charger in the box)". I said no thank you and walked out. This last time I went in to get a new phone because my screen was cracked and my phone had been acting wonky. I told the sales person what I wanted and all was well till I asked if there was a way I could get my phone bill down. The manager comes out and tells me there is a promotion for the Hum devices that go in your car. If I used that promotion my bill would go down. I told them repeatedly I can't afford a bigger bill. He assured me it would go down and if I had any problems come back up there. Well I'm having to go back up there because my bill is almost 500$. I spoke with customer service online chat and was told there wasn't anything about a promotion on my bill and that it's so high because of the Hum devices added to it. The only reason I have Verizon at this point is because my husband prefers it since he is a truck driver. As soon as he changes jobs I'm going to use another carrier. Do not go here. The staff is polite, and most seem pretty young. But no matter how polite they are, their service is utterly terrible. I have had issues from this store's lack of competence and integrity since my first visit to the store. What it all boils down to is that you hey have lied to me EVERY single time I've visited their store, which has been 3 times in 3 months now. And I'm still dealing with issues that aren't resolved. First of all, DO NOT GET THE HUM. While it is a unique piece of technology it's honestly useless to most people. As another reviewer has stated, I was told that their was a "special promotion" with the Hum that would lower my bill. Consequently, it did the opposite. I was told I could remove the Hum from my account, but it turns out that the salesperson snuck it onto my contract without my knowledge and I'm stuck with it for 2 years. And that's x2 Hums (me + my wife). In addition to this I was double-charged for activation fees and lied to about what my monthly payments would be on 3 occasions! The staff is too young and lack the confidence to deal with issues appropriately. If there is a class-action lawsuit over the Hum situation, COUNT ME IN! read more
