The problem with Everest is the cable functionality. Everything from the Guide to DVR menu looks cheap and only has basic functionality. The DVR doesn't actually record shows that it should be recording. So we frequently were missing episodes of such great shows as "The Soup" and "My Fair Brady". We'll eventually switch back to Everest when we get mad at Time Warner's service again (we're close). But, Everest just gives us a whole new set of problems. Although they have better HD service than Time Warner.

That's what I decided to stop using Spectrum even though my brother has worked there for over 4 years. They allow their employees to have free wifi and other services. Which leads me to my 0 star. My brother is a disabled veteran, and for the past 6 months has struggled with mental illnering this time frame he had to use up all his vacation/personal time, which led to retaliation from his employers. NOTE: This facility has no Human Resource department. Two months ago, he was unable to go into the office due to health issues and got a note from the Veteran's office here in the metro. They then finally supplied him with the equipment to work from home. About two weeks later he was called into a netting and was suspended without pay. With inflation, poverty rising day by day, rent costs sky rocketing, and Charter/Spectrum Communications of Kansas City decided to suspend a disable veteran because he got Veteran Affairs involved because they were retaliating against his use of FMLA and PTO, which is illegal coming from a BSBA with a minor in Business Law. Do NOT work here. This company looks at their employees as numbers, other than human beings.

Marcus W. helped me and took care of my Spectrum needs with knowledge, professionalism, efficiency and excellent customer service as he went above and beyond for me in his efforts to resolve the situation. All the while, there were a few loud unnecessarily angry customers walking into the store that him and the team handled calmly and with patience. Marcus remained calm, kind, and efficient the entire time and I just really appreciated him today in the midst of the chaos of a big move, divorce and everything else going on in my life.
