I came here yesterday to get a new phone for my dad. Louisa was the person that helped us. She was very helpful in explaining everything. She let me know about all the promotion they were having for Black Friday and was not pushy in which promotion I chose. How is this store still open? Wow, where do I begin? The employee Shamela (spelling?) was so unhelpful. All I had were a few questions about my account. After a horrible 45 minute wait, her solution was to call 611. I told her I tried that and could not get to a live customer rep, so I asked her to do it from the store. After she rolled her eyes, she did make the call...She couldn't get through either! How can you give instructions to call 611 when you cannot do it yourself? I asked if anyone else knew how to do it, as well as to get my account number (because she couldn't help me with that either). After another 20 min wait, the "manager", Tanesia (spelling again? sorry), came out of the back office (half-eating) and greeted me with the incorrect problem. She was even less helpful than the first. She brought me to a computer and said a random number as my account number just to get me out of the store. Worst service. Side note: I asked to remove auto-pay from my account and Shamela had told me to cancel my credit card because verizon still charges you after you remove auto-pay....what?? THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!! Store Manager Isabelle and Asst. Manager Simone need to be retrained! I was not allowed to see my new phone until I singed charges. New phone was programmed with contacts, nothing more. Sales associate didn't even show me how to use the phone, he told me to take it home and play with it!!!!!! After several smart remarks from him I requested my old phone and a refund. I was in the store for 42 minutes and never left with the new phone. I was told a refund would only be issued minus the $35 restocking fee. After Customer Service directing them to issue me a refund, Simone clearly feels that they do not have to follow Corporate Directives and will not issue a refund. I will NEVER come back to this store ever again. I was seriously scammed and lied to about purchasing a new Iphone 6s regarding pricing. They make commission off of how much money they can get you to spend and will not be honest with you in order to get it. I have never been so disappointed and frustrated with this company. Why is it that every time I come here for something I have to wait forever and I can never get out of here in less than 1 hour. Recently I went there to return a Fitbit that was too small for my mother's wrist (I didn't know there weren't one size fits all) and they made me sign in before anyone would assist me. Then after waiting around and twiddling my thumbs for 20 minutes someone calls my name. 40 minutes and 4 people assisting the person assigned to me later,I can exchange the Fitbit. Very efficient. I have gone to this Verizon store on many occasions and I have always been treated with top level service. I went there yesterday to purchase the Hum unit for my daughters car and again great service. They even installed it in the car. Yes it was just a plug in device but they went outside got under the dashboard and connected it . Great sales people. read more

Horrible experience with Verizon. Talked us into switching from AT&T. I had an account with 5 phone lines, told us we would save approx $50 a month and would get credits and phone refunds to pay At&t. Ended up after 4 months of daily phone call and visits to the store. We are out $600 for payments we had to make to AT&T and the monthly bill is $70 more. Totally were lied to and in the end was told that's it we were just "unlucky" with how it turned out. Don't ever make this mistake DO NOT switch to Verizon, they are crooks! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND VERY STRESSFUL. read more

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They are happy to help you if you are going to buy a phone; however, if you need help fixing it or replacing what they sold you, they turn stupid and don't know or want to help. The associate told me "it would be useful for me to help you." The reality is I would not have gone there if I thought assistance from my carrier was useless. I left Verizon aggravated. Horrific experience with customer service and John Wu store manager. First of all, completely unprofessional texting on his personal phone and picked up a personal call on another phone in the middle of processing our order of a new phone but just at the end of our transaction decided instead of finishing the purchase and take our address to ship, have another employee finish the transaction. So I'm thinking ok they will start off where he left off. No the other agent said we had to start all the way at the beginning. We walked out. When we asked him why he walked away helping another customer he had no answer. Never in my life did I experience something like this. My husband was so angry. So not only was John the store manager disrespectful and rude he was coughing and twitching the whole time which I was ignoring along with the personal use of his phone during the sale of a brand new iphone but to then walk away and hand over the transaction to someone else when I was at the end and waited already a half an hour and now had to start over, forget it. Will never go to this corporate store again. Does anyone want to work anymore? Does anyone do training in customer service anymore? Worst!!! I hate retail stores but I recently visited this place three times in one week when I was trying to replace my buggy phone. I met with Francesca and Victor and others. Everyone was very helpful and respectful. Really, I HATE stores in general, hate shopping and dealing with salespeople. But this place was pretty good. Have never had an issue here. Prefer the store over Austin St FH or others. Im due for an renewal and upgrade so stopped in less than 2 weeks ago. Had to wait for someone to see me and had an appt to get to. Left and went back this week. Phone prices have tripled and quadrupled. The same reception person could not tell me anything and acted puzzled. why didnt they tell me prices were going up? So I guess I will switch carriers and that goes for my cable and internet. read more

Saleswoman immediately says "let me see that" ..."oh sorry we are out of stock". Really, in all 5 colors the same week the special began? If I could give a zero star rating I would. I recently went in to this store just to purchase a phone case for my Kyocera flip phone which I purchased at this same location several years ago. Upon entering the store I was greeted by an employee who took my name and told me to wait. I waited about 30 minutes before an employee assisted me. When I told the employee that I all I needed was a phone case for my Kyocera flip phone, I was told they don't carry flip phone cases. I wasted 30 minutes of my time for nothing. This could have been easily solved in less than 30 seconds if the employee who greeted me in the beginning asked for my name and the nature of my business instead of just taking my name down. Years ago, upon visiting this same store for a phone replacement, I waited nearly an hour just for assistance. Customer service at this store is terrible and from the way these employees conduct themselves, you can easily tell they have no morale and motivation to service customers. I felt as if we the customers are disturbing the employees and being a nuisance to them just for being customers. The only reason I have been a loyal Verizon wireless customer for over 10 years is not because of the sales associates at this store, but because Verizon provides reliable phone service. This is the Verizon Wireless store closest to my house, but I try to avoid going here. I was in the area and decided to get over it and go into the store. I immediately remembered why I stopped using this store. In the past when I've gone in there, I had a hard time getting anyone to help me. This time, I put my name on the list, when it was my turn to see the customer service rep she spent the entire time staring at the clock rather then looking at me when she talked to me. When I told her what I didn't like about my phone, she told me that she never heard anyone ever have the same complaints. I told her to check the web site, 95% of the reviews on my phone listed the same complaint. When I asked questions about the Iphone, she just told me, she only hears complaints about Iphones, and didn't really answer my questions. She just kept trying to talk me out of my existing contract, which I wanted to keep, since I still have the unlimited data package. I know they are trying to get rid of these contracts, but she needs to work on her customer service skills. read more

We've been loyal customers of Verizon for over five years now. Last month, we paid a rather large sum for our new phones for an upgrade. This month we find out that our phones are now essentially free. Coincidentally, none of the sales rep bothered mentioning this to us at the time. Second, when we did go to the store to complain, the manager made us feel as though we wasted her time after we spent an hour waiting. Third, when asking if there was any further follow-up to see if we can have our phones returned and refunded, the manager declined to give us any customer support number or even the name of her own manager. Finally, at a subsequent visit, the guy at the front door totally mislead us by telling us we needed to sign up for the 1 hr wait time appointment to activate our phones, when in reality we found out we just needed to call a number from home. It's not even the money so much as the complete lack of respect the manager had in discussing the issue with us. These people clearly do not value their customers and merely hide behind red tape. Corporate management really needs to audit the practices at this store. read more

I would give this store zero stars if I could. They have terrible customer service. I have had Verizon for 8 years and one would think they would appreciate the long term customers. If you need a Verizon store, go to Manhasset as you will wait but they offer good service. My three month old phone malfunctioned and reset for no apparent reason, I went there as soon as the store opened and they were empty, plenty of staff. The rep did not know how to fix some of the problems. He said the tech in back told him how to fix it. It didn't work. I lost my pics. The voicemail did not function correctly. I came back to the store at 7 p.m. and complained that in trying to fix it the first time, it used up half a months data in their verizon store. Instead of apologizing and correcting a bad situation a woman who identified herself as a manager came from the back and basically said it's my problem if the data is used up in fixing my phone in their store. they are nothing but liars there first I had trouble with my iPhone my dad gave me since everything was in his password and since he died cant get them from him I called the iPhone company telling me that if i can get the inside information from verizon that they can go into the system for me and change it so i went and said they wouldn't give it to me than they wanted me to pay $300 to go use another phone which i didnt have the money for so i bought a $50 dollar phone from a pharmacy that u put money on by cards so i did that for a bit but was bored so than i went back to verizon told me i could get my original phone number and close my case with them and not have to pay for the fees so i closed my case with verizon to start another so on the phone with verizon for a whole week to get my original number back which they said couldn't be done and i would have to pay $500 since i closed me case so they said reopen it which i had to do and still after me for the money which i will not pay for. only reason still with them is the coverage since i like to travel and only service that works and so i didnt have to pay to cancel my case with them. read more
