I never write reviews but this was by far the worst and unnecessary pro audio experience ever…read more I purchased a Hedd Type 20 monitor on Amazon from Dale Pro Audio, but I received an SM58 microphone instead. I called Dale pro audio, and was transferred to Tim Brown the owner. He told me that my order was cancelled and I received the microphone by accident. My order wasn't actually canceled, and a microphone was sent so I could cancel it (maybe they weren't in good standing with amazon?). So I thought okay no problem, tough times, resend me the speaker. Tim, for whatever reason didn't want to sell the speaker on amazon and used my order to do so. He asked that I pay him through PayPal. I ended up having to pay through PayPal again, while my first order refund still hasn't posted to my bank account as I'm writing this review because he refused to re-list it on amazon prime, where I have already bought the item. I'm out 3,000$ for one b-stock speaker, not a pair, and Tim is adamant that the speaker orientation is a left, so I purchased a RIGHT from alto music (Bobby montemuro). Right speaker arrives from alto. After all that, a right speaker also arrives from Dale Pro Audio, which is what I purchased initially. I could have just ordered a left from Bobby. After the back and forth, no apologies, or show of solidarity. He sends me a return label. I'm writing this review because I strongly believe it's not worth it especially if you're a serious musician. Low priced items okay, but I could not trust this company with anything expensive, not because I received a wrong item but because of the culture that exists within this company. If I'm met with such dishonesty and disregard from the owner, imagine what it's like on a regular basis. No positive review here will show they won't take advantage at your expense, and I think that's the most important take-away. Picture attached

Jude did an excellent job on my NAD 3020 integrated amp. It had always sounded good but had…read moreidiosyncrasies that I accepted as typical of a vintage audio component from eBay. It worked well enough for my purposes, I told myself. The built-in phono stage wasn't exactly usable, but I had my own external preamp that I liked, and there were times the sound would cut out if something got ever-so-slightly jostled, but then it stopped producing sound from the left channel altogether and the quirks stopped seeming so cute. I called Jude and described the problem. He picked the amp up and returned it sounding better than ever. I now have a restored amp that sounds great for less than I paid for it in its rusty, loose condition years ago. I would note that the quoted time frame was the Sunday following a Wednesday pickup, and it did take some phone tag to get the unit back, which ended up being two weeks after I first handed it off. My guess is that because we live in totally different parts of the city, Jude was trying to time the repair relative to when he could feasibly come my way, and from what he told me, the repair was somewhat more complicated than expected once he got around to it. Notably, this was during the stretch of winter when there were the two huge storms within a couple of weeks of each other, so that didn't help either. Delays like this obviously seem inherent to a one-person home operation, and I wouldn't have expected such a quick turnaround if not for the original quote (and other reviews mentioning quick turnarounds). He was always friendly and polite on the phone even as I worried I was pestering him. Overall, I felt the service lived up to my expectations. Given that he's a genuinely nice person providing a specialized service for reasonable prices and will pick up and drop off your gear for you (even if you don't live anywhere near Flatbush), I can't complain--just unfortunate timing that I found myself without a working stereo system out during a period when I was barely going outside. Still, I have a feeling it'll be sounding great for many seasons to come.

He came and tested the input impedence of my speakers and made sure the cabling back to my speakers was working and waited until we could confirm everything was working as close to spec as possible. He's also an authorized Yamaha repair shop and that's how I found him. I brought my amplifier there because some of my speakers didn't seem to have sound he took in the amp and diagnosed it and found one channel had a lot of static going on. He also said it needed a good cleaning. I gave him the go ahead to make any repair and do any service needed and it turned out wonderfully. I dropped my amplifier off at his store on a Friday afternoon and got it back the following Wednesday, how great is that. Anyway, I have the utmost respect for Raj and his service and couldn't be happier to have found him and for the service he preformed. My amp works better than ever and the sound that I have now is intoxicating... Thank you Raj....

They no longer install stereos since the online portion of their business is doing well. His father (Which I was told was in the Military and he repaired the radios for them back then) I have brought many electronics to him to repair over the many years (Stereos, Linear amps, Guitar amplifiers, you name it) there was nothing that Sam could not fix, and very cost efficient and turnaround time was always fairly quick.
