We came in with a phone with no service, waited a while for someone to see us. At least, they ask you what you're wearing so they can easily find you in the store when it's your turn. And we found an outlet so we could charge up while we waited. Mari did her best to fix our issue, trying everything possible. She wasn't successful (turned out, later, it was a busted antenna), but I was impressed that despite there being way too low a staff:customer ratio, she was able to juggle helping multiple people at once and treated us with patients and kindness. I would have been a lot more cranky in her situation!

Since I finally decided to ditch the over priced Xfinity internet, I figured I'd give Metro a try since a friend has the T-Mobile 5G internet and loves it which is the same device and network Metro uses as well. The only drawback is you need to go into a Metro store to sign up for the 5G Internet unlike being able to sign up online or by phone as T-Mobile does. Yesterday (12.29.23) I made a trip to Metro at Northland Centre near Giant on N.Atherton St. and the Metro store has vanished !!!! poof ! gone ! The store is empty, the signage gone and a note taped inside the door stating the store is closed for good and the closest Metro store is Altoona (???!!!). It was there just a few weeks ago. The website and customer service folks told me it was still operating as I stood in front of an empty store !! They argued with me that it's still there ! Lol... I finally had to send a picture to the Metro service rep who was arguing with me . Bottom Line: THE N ATHERTON METRO STORE NO LONGER EXISTS! it is gone !! Sad ... :-(

Great location, friendly staff and not a long wait like I have had at other locations. They even help with business accounts! I was able to do everything with very little contact as well which is nice in today's Covid days. The store was clean and the employees were considerate and wore masks. read more

I will note they were very pushy with upselling me on lasik and telling me to use their surgery center. They kept insisting to get the surgery despite me saying no several times. The front desk experience was the opposite, Abby was dismissive and rude while discussing the surprise charges, which made the situation worse; I also discovered their contact lens pricing is significantly higher than major retailers, with the same brand quoted near $90 that is widely available for around $60 elsewhere; I don't mind paying for services I agree to, but I do mind being billed for services I declined and not being clearly informed about extra costs, and better transparency and professionalism at the front desk would make a big difference.
