Went for a simple upgrade, came out with a lot of changes to my plan and bill i did not authorize. I even very clearly said do not change my plan or touch anything on my account. Since my last review from 4/12/15. Im sorry to say things have really changed at this Verizon store. The person I used to deal with Sharom has left. There have been several others but this store can't seem to hire good reputable people who stay. The staff is always changing, and no one seems to be able to make a decision without getting on the phone and calling a manager. ( shouldn't the manager be at the store during regular business hours?) I came here to inquire about a new promotional plan I heard Verizon had. Free Talk, Text, and Data. I spoke to one of their representatives and I specifically told him I want to see if I can lower my monthly phone bill, and findout about their new free talk, text, data plan. My brother just got it on his plan and loved it and he was charged $85 per line for 4 lines that included tax.. I told the rep I don't hardly use data because I'm always on wifi,the rep agreed. The rep told me he could give me the FREE talk, text, and data plan for 5 dollars less then what I was paying. I figured it was good because now everything was unlimited and I would be saving a little more money. I asked about billing. My billing cycle is the 15th of every month. The rep told me my billing cycle wouldn't be until the 21st of each month and ignore any bills that came until then. Needless to say when I received my first bill it said I was past due because my billing cycle was still the 15th and the price was $125 and change not $96. I also had a cracked plastic protector which I paid around $40-50 dollars for when I got my new iPhone. I knew it had a lifetime warrantee. When I asked about replacing it he asked me my name, and the rep said I'm not in the system and that I didn't buy it from Verizon. Again, I knew I bought it from Verizon because I got it with my iPhone at the time of purchase from a corporate Verizon store in Succasunna. To make a long story short, I called customer service and they were extremely helpful. They were able to lower my bill, they found my name in their system and I was able to call and get a replacement for the plastic cover for $5.99 shipping. This guy at Verizon wanted me to spend another $40-50 on a new plastic protector. I'm very leery about returning to this Verizon store. I found out from a manager of another Verizon store that's some of the Verizon stores are independently franchised. A word to the wise, anytime you go to a dealer about your iPhone, tablet, Samsung phone , get everything in writing vs the rep showing you all the pricing on his tablet. These people are up there with car salesmen, a bunch of sharks! read more

I'm very glad I discovered this Verizon Wireless location. In my experience, the Verizon corporate-owned stores (this is not one) do not deliver the same level of service, have long wait times, and won't go the extra mile to make you satisfied. Every experience I've had in this store has been top-notch. The associates have been friendly, knowledgable, competent, and went out of their way to help me. Just an example: They made me aware of a new plan that lowered my monthly data costs without me even asking. It was a 30 second change that gave me the same monthly data for $180 less per year. Ordering new iPhones has always been quick and easy. Some associates have even called me to follow up to make sure everything transpired the way I wanted it to. Thumbs up folks, great job. read more

Stopped into this Verizon store while visiting with my mother. I needed to upgrade my phone, which I was less than eager to do so because typically going to the phone store is a drag and I'm not the most technically advanced individual. With that being said, this was the best experience I have had getting a new phone! Being my self and asking a ton of questions, the guys at the store (Jess and Pedro) who were helping me we extremely helpful and patient. They explained things very clearly and on my level of understanding. They also switched over all of my data, and whole transition to a new phone was actually very painless. They even came out to my car and connected my Bluetooth in 2 minutes, which last time I was charged $60 at the Mercedes dealership!! Highly recommended! read more

Verizon offered free tablet when I upgraded to iPhone6 but didn't tell me there was a $10 per month device charge. Went in to return tablet and cancel and they said only if I pay $175 early termination. Would never go back again. Don't trust what they say. read more
