    Walked in, and at the same time an older couple was walking out and the sound of a beep went off, i…read morewas confused turned around and the guy at the station asked if it was me, i said no and i think it was the other couple going through. he then asked me to walk back through, ok no problem-walked back through no sound went off, i told him that i think maybe the other couple had one of those tags on them and didn't know it. i have my mini backpack/purse on me and nothing else. no bags nothing. Did my shopping and went and got the things i wanted, cashed out and presented my reciept to the guy, asked him if he ever got in touch with the couple that had left the store (bc the alarm had gone off) and he said no, then proceeded to ask me if i had a back pack or a purse...i was confused and said backpack? in a questioning manner, he then told me that he needed to check my backpack. it's a MINI BACKPACK AND IT HOLDS MY PHONE, KEY'S AND WALLET....i told him no, he's not going to check me, i will be contacting the store and telling them to go ahead and check their cameras at a certain time and WATCH what i do because it'll be THE LAST time myself or MY FAMILY ever step foot in there. i was embarrassed and i am completely upset about the situation. He has ZERO right to check my belongings that i came in with especially when theres little to NOTHING I could possibly even put in a 10 inch backpack. i have purses twice that size. never again.

    I made an appointment at the BJ's Tire Center in Auburn, NY, to have snow tires removed and road…read moretires installed for 10 am today. This is a free service if both sets of tires are purchased from BJ's, which mine are. The store is a 35-40 minute drive from my home. I arrived at the tire center 5 minutes early and was told the technician was running 15 minutes late. So I waited the 15 minutes but he was a no-show. Another trained installer was there but he could not install the tires because he did not have a required training certification. I requested that they contact their manager to see if the installer could put the tires on (he said was fully capable) with management approval. The manager would not authorize a variance to the BJ's policy. Instead suggesting I return to the store at 12:30. Which I declined since this would have amounted to 2 hours round trip driving time today. I was instead offered a gift card. A gift card was the wrong answer. 3 more reasonable solutions present themselves. 1st, BJ's should have called me to cancel/reschedule the appointment prior to my spending an hour in the car. 2nd, the manager should have contacted corporate HQ to request a policy exception so the fully capable tech could have installed the tires without a missing certification. Lastly, they could have offered to reimburse my costs for have the tires changed elsewhere. Now if I want the tire change performed I have to drive more than an hour for a return trip to BJ's. This is the second poor BJ's tire center experience I have had from BJ's. As far as customer service goes I would recommend somewhere else even if it costs a little more
