Despite confirming the transaction, AT&T processed multiple additional transactions, resulting in my bank's fraud department flagging them and creating significant confusion around my payments. AT&T also created a second "ghost" account in my name, provided little explanation of how the payment system worked, and required me to spend nearly 20 hours over the last 7 days on phone calls, in stores, and resolving issues. Multiple devices and watches were shipped, lost in transit, reordered, and then incorrectly handled; a watch that I had legitimately received and paid for was even flagged by AT&T as stolen. I repeatedly received billing updates and charges that I could not understand or reconcile, and promised receipts were never provided. Customer service calls routinely involved lengthy hold times, including calls lasting 2 hours and 37 minutes, 2 hours and 20 minutes, and 1 hour and 17 minutes. Store and customer-service representatives repeatedly gave conflicting information, were unable to resolve basic account and billing issues, and in some instances were dismissive of my concerns. As of 9/30, despite receiving the remaining watches, I still do not have clear answers regarding my charges, account setup, watch activations, or how the incorrect transactions and devices will be resolved. I am seeking AT&T's assistance in reviewing the entire account, reconciling all charges and payments, correcting the account and device records, resolving the watch issues, and providing a clear explanation and appropriate resolution for the significant time, financial disruption, and inconvenience caused to me. I would like to speak with the Regional Manager about my full experience and I would like to file a formal complaint with a corporate partner. But those people hide behind their store managers and are unreachable.

I went to the Holmgren Way store to get a printout, and August, an employee, said he was not able to provide that without management authorization. After questioning why a customer service employee of yours was not able to answer a simple question for a customer, a manager rushed over to assist. He was also reluctant to show me a breakdown of the charges, but informed me that my Flex-Pay for my iPhone 13 just ended that month, which seemed suspect. I still asked for a printout of the breakdown and to see the payment history of my Flex plan, which was their shady way of getting you to sign a 3-year agreement to get an upgrade, which is poor terminology since I'm actually paying for it in the long run. They not only refused to print something out, but when I moved behind the desk and went to look at the computer screen they were looking at, in confusion, they moved the screen away so I couldn't see. The best they could do was write down what my data plan cost on a Post-it note. Highly unprofessional and very suspect that they wouldn't show me why my bill was so expensive. I've been a Cellcom customer for almost 20 years; needless to say, I took their post-it note and went to T-Mobile, where I got a truly free phone upgrade, major discount from what I was paying, and full transparency as to what my charges were. We had Sound World install a home theater system and multi-room sound system in our house roughly 8 years ago. Overall the installation was good until I caught the installer drilling a large hole in the ceiling and stapling a large cable along the entry door from the garage (had they discussed options with me first, I would have informed them that we had a chase installed for the purpose of running cables to the attic). I was also unimpressed when he seemed oblivious to the multiple black fingerprint smudges on the ceiling when he installed the speakers. We later had a receiver go bad which they replaced under warranty. Turns out the replacement was used (I found this out when I was programming it and found someone else's internet info stored in it). Fast forward to 2020. With technological changes since our initial installation, we wanted to make some modifications to our system so I stopped by their store to schedule an appointment. They wouldn't even pencil me into their appointment book (2 months out) without a credit card on file! I can understand confirming payment arrangements prior to sending a technician an hour away, but how about taking care of it with a phone call while verifying the appointment perhaps the day before the scheduled installation date? To be unwilling to even schedule an appointment without a credit card on file was absolutely insulting to me - especially after we had previously spent $12,000+ with them!!! I told them as much and told them I would look elsewhere. Now for the straw.... We needed a new bulb for our projector. It seems it is something we have to order from a dealer so I contacted Sound World early on December 27. I was told someone would get back to me. By the afternoon of the 28th, I had not heard back. After an internet search, I found a company called Jaspertronics. I called them, gave them my make/model number and they knew what bulb I needed within seconds. I received my order from them on the 30th. Jaspertronics provided me with excellent, friendly, and efficient customer service. Those are the qualities Sound World is lacking. 24 days and counting - I HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED A CALL BACK from Sound World!! I obviously don't recommend them.
