I've shopped at this location for about 3-6 years and have recently been going all the time the over the past year or 2 for hobby nights or other small or big events they host. They have probably some of the best staff out there for each department. They have always been helpful, nice and useful and I have never been really lead a stray by them. I visit very frequently and tend to spend a lot of money at Hobby Town they are great employees as well as people I value as friends I was never treated poorly when starting to know them, or knowing them now. I think the Owner has done a great job with his store and the selection of people he has on his Hobby Town Team! They have a very great selection of Model Kits, R/C Cars, R/C Planes, War Hammer, Paint, 3D print items, Train supplies. If they don't have what you are looking for they will gladly order for you and it comes in no time (if the item you want is being produced at the time). The value of items are typically fair and I've never seen anything that id say is really over priced. The owner also tends to price match if you ask. They also tend to run a lot of deals like 10% off of Gundam or Warhammer items if you come on select days and they run coupons pretty often especially around the holidays. I want to say that this is the most mad I have ever been in anytime that I have gone there. I have never disrespected anybody in that store other than going and paying whatever they asked me and did everything that I could do possible just to be a good customer and buying their products But when I had spent a lot of money, they didn't care, and they took them selves upon the fact of making it about themselves and not about the customer and pretty much told me to leave and not caring about my problem or customer service. I would never tell anybody to go to the store they have the worst is customer service ever Their warranty policy is garbage they say that they want to work on your car and fix it and they don't because they have no experience other than just selling you things that you don't know how to use because of the fact that they constantly change their brands all the time so that you want come back I thought that that store was for everybody even if you don't know what you're doing that's why people pay a lot of money to go to the store but obviously that doesn't matter so if you are somebody that doesn't know how to work on these expensive toys Don't bother because they won't help you and all they will do is take your money and tell you to go screw yourself and possibly call the police on you if you get mad because you're trying to stick up for yourself as a customer and asking questions there's nothing wrong with asking questions, but going to Hobby town in Green Bay. Came here to see if they had any puzzles, since my go-to stores were out. And boy did they have them! I bought 4 I liked but honestly could have bought more. They also have various hobby things like remote control cars, models, etc. The folks who helped me were super nice, and a gentleman next to me was asking about a problem w his current remote control car and they seemed very knowledgeable and willing to help w his issue. I am a novice to RC so when my shocks started leaking on my truck (my fault not theirs). I went and asked which shocks would be a good replacement and was given a set which I purchased. I got home and my son and I started putting them on he put oil in one while I got the spring off the old one. That's when we noticed it was to short and my springs wouldn't work. I stopped and talked to the store and was told they were now used and I couldn't get my money back. I was going to buy the right ones at this time but when they wouldn't work with me I became a full time online shopper and wouldn't recommend going there. read more

Focus is primarily on r/c, great selection of tools and paints. All other things such as scale modeling and railroads are being phased out. I understand he wants to focus on this area without spending for other inventory. New owner is condescending and unhelpful, unlike previous gentleman. Be very careful of what ever you buy here. I paid over $90 for a Micro-T battery car. Great little car....for about 2 weeks. No crashs - but now it just won't take a charge. I took it back today. Their answer was - "It is probably a problem with the car" - WOW - what a genius!! Now - what is their solution? Exchange it for one that works? - No way.....He said I should contact the manufacturer!! Be very careful buying from a scam company like this.......THEY DON"T STAND BEHIND WHAT THEY SELL !!!!! The new owner is great!! Very helpful, had lots of great suggestions for Christmas gifts for a very curious and smart 6 year old. He stayed age appropriate, but yet had great things in stock to keep my sons growing mind engaged. I have also enjoyed the insight he has provided on question I've had regarding RC vehicles.
