Today I got one representative he was bald and I didn't get his name. He was so rude. I came in and ask for a SIM card and her refused to try and understand why I needed it. He just seemed like he didn't want to do his job. He was very condescending. He wanted the device which I didn't have in the moment and ask if I could have the SIM only he didn't want to do it. Overall we walked out without a SIM card and will never return to this location. Save your time and go to another one. If I could give 0stars I would. read more

Got a S21 Ultra two days ago. I've had to come in three times in 4 hours due to various issues. All three times the employees were dismissive and tried to shove me away by sending me to tech support which doesn't answer your calls. in the 5 years I've used Verizon I have spent almost $10,000 on your products and services and this is how you treat a long time customer? Might as well go elsewhere. Your ridiculous prices were once justified by your customer service, but now that it has snowballed there is no need. read more

I've been with Verizon 8 years and never been lied to like I was by the customer service rep Basim. He told me he could help me save money on my bill when I went in for a new phone. He provided me with the confirmation of what I would be paying, but a week later I look at my new bill going forward and it was $30 more. I called Verizon, the rep on the phone said she didn't even know how he got the system to how me the price he gave me on the new bill receipt he had provided me. I asked Basim multiple times when he showed me the new bill estimate was anything going to different later on and he said no this is what your new bill is going forward. I'm extremely disappointed in him lying to my face the way he did. read more

We went in to purchase a new phone. 2 men were working with customers, and I noticed 2 more workers in the back. I approached them and asked for help with phone. They were cold and stand offish and the woman was wearing a MANAGER badge. We caught the eye of another worker and he said "I'll be with you shortly". At no time did anyone welcome us to the store or tell us we had to sign in via tablet. So we waited for almost 30 minutes before he told us we needed to sign in. The 2 in the back (Manager) were flirting with each other and did not want to be bothered by customers. We finally got the phone and specifically told him we did not want phone insurance. I just got an email today stating I have phone insurance! The Verizon store on 434 is much better- don't waste your time at the Altamonte one. read more

Horrible customer service. Spend time chatting with each other while customers wait. Unless you are buying a new device they direct you to call the 1-800 number for customer service. Don't even listen to what the problem is, keep talking over me as I speak, directing me to customer service. The people who work here hate their jobs and their customers, it's evident. read more

Came to the store to pick up and accessory for my phone. As I walked in, I was immediately greeted and assisted. The store inside and the grounds outside were very clean and presentable. We were looking to get away from AT&T and get new iPhones in the process. For some reason Verizon wanted us to pay $400 deposits each, a total of $800, to join on their side. (You would get it back after a year but there was no way we were going to drop so much cash at once.) Very nice salesperson though. We just couldn't do the switch - that was pretty ridiculous. read more

I wanted to check into the possibility of upgrading my iPhone 7plus to an IPhone X, and so I went to this store since it is a corporately owned store (not an authorized retailer) in the hope that I would be treated well and not scammed. The salesman was very nice. I told him I DID NOT want to increase my monthly payment...but I also knew I was just a few months shy of paying off my iPhone 7plus...so I expected I would have to pay some money as a down payment. So far, no problem. I left there with a shiney new iPhone X (which I LOVE BTW)....so imagine my surprise when I got an email from Verizon telling me my monthly payment was going to go up over $40 a month! I went to the store less than a month later to ask about it and it appears that they dug through all the fine print from previous phones and all the way back to the iPhone 6plus (2 phones ago) they found some clause that said if I traded up in less than 2 years they could take away all the credit I had from trading in a phone a LONG time ago and so they did...and after taking away my credits from 2 phones ago now my payment was up by over $40/month. Nobody is going to read or remember the fine print from 3-4 years ago! That's why I asked the sales rep to make sure he could keep the monthly payment the same and he said he almost could....just $4 more. That was fine...but not $45!! The two assistant managers I spoke to were very sympathetic but said the general manager would have to fix this. He NEVER called me back...and when I went in person he refused to speak with me. I've called numerous times and it's a waste of time....they don't care about their customers one bit and have no intention of trying to make anything right. If I could make this a zero I would...but you have to give at least one star. BUYER BEWARE. read more

I'm not sure where to begin other than they need to replace every employee at this location, starting with the management who has an excuse for every bad thing that happens (Mike). Don't waste your time making an appointment, because they're going to take everybody else in the order they arrived, regardless of their recommended appointment process. I've been to the store three times in the last week for various reasons. First, they did not properly set up my account and my bill went up over $100. Second, they didn't properly set up the data plan as described. Lastly, I had to switch the phone because the model wasn't meeting my needs. The employee started with "I am new, so I'm not sure what I'm doing ". If it's not Eddie mumbling his way through the interaction while staring at his iPad screen, it's the other employees who seem to fake it until they make it. Save yourself the frustration and go someplace else. read more

Unlike the other reviewer, I had a great experience at this location. I was greeted promptly, and taken care of by a wonderful lady named Joan. She was so patient with me and fixed a few issues for me, as well as answering my questions about additional phones and plans for my grandmother. If they tend to take longer, and patience is required, as indicated by last reviewer, it is only because they are paying you quality attention. I found that arriving in the morning hours was better to beat the "rush" of people and was out in about 15 minutes. read more

If my choice could have been zero stars I would have chosen it. The management team at this location is unethical and does not care about their customers. I am a long-term Verizon customer and I'm happy with my phone service this complaint is aimed at the management and sales staff only. Please take my advice and either do your transactions online directly through Verizon or at a different store location. read more

I am now doing business at this location for over 2 years. I met Joan Ingram at this location on my first visit, and she is great to work with, every time. There isn't a question she can't answer, and always provides us with addition helpful tip for our phone. I went into this Verizon Wireless store to inquire about switching over from AT&T. The salesman (Basim) talked me into it with very little resistance from me. While filling out the paperwork I noticed they wanted my SSN. I assumed it was for a credit check and specifically asked him if it was going to be a hard inquiry. He matter-of-factly told me that it would not. It would only be a soft pull. Not once, but twice he told me this, as I asked him again just to be sure. A couple of hours later I got an alert from my credit monitoring informing me that I had a new hard inquiry. Verizon, of course. This upset me because I am planning to make a big purchase in the very near future, and the additional hard inquiry could only affect me negatively. I called up their customer service and after being on hold for just short of an hour and passed around to several different departments, was told that there was nothing that could be done regarding the inquiry. All they could do is report it to the salesman's manager who "might need to give him better training". Ok... so he gets whatever commission and another notch in his belt, and I get to sit on this specifically unrequested inquiry for the next two years. Thanks Verizon. You've managed to make me despise you almost immediately after signing up. read more

I when to setup account at this store 3 month my business was a total of $975 for 3 phone and table I had the business account which should have been $45 per line. I when to the store to ask for bills I wasn't give one then When to the store because Verizon fraud Dept. close my business account without me knowing tell me to setup a personal because my business account was able to verification service because we didn't have business lic. which Florida status say Non Profit 501c3 Don't have to get business license. But worker by the name of Curtis was very mean when I walk into the door he also though the phone at me like I was a dog over and over saying I was fraud I am 31 year male that has own this business since I was 16 year old work my self up what I am. Then he block my social security and all my account in I wasn't able to do anything into Monday which I now trying to report him to the general manger in she's cover everything up for him. read more

Looks like my previous review was erased somehow! I visited the store to have my Note 3 information transferred to my new Note 5 which I had purchased from Verizon. The girl proceeded to transfer my data. When she was done she said everything has transferred and said are these your photos and handed me the phone. I said yes. She took the phone back and completed everything. I even asked her to transfer my Notes and Bookmarks. She then asked me what I was going to do with the Note 3. I said I would sell it myself since I'd get more for it. She asked if I wanted to erase all the data off of it for security. I said yes. Well....that's when I later found out she didn't transfer all my hours of business contact notes and saved website bookmarks for research. A lot of important work information was loss. I called and talked with her, but she was dismissive. She said I transferred 69 items. She said if it is not there, I guess it didn't transfer. I had a computer professional I use for my work look at it and he said she didn't transfer it, she just transferred the standard Contacts (phone numbers) and photos. Hopefully this will not be deleted again my Yelp since it is the truth. read more
