I went into the Lake Mary T-Mobile store expecting to get 2 lines -- instead, Sophia (the assistant) and Jose (the manager) added 6 lines to my account without explaining what was actually happening. For the past three months, I've been stuck in a mess of overcharges, stress, and zero accountability from anyone involved. To make it worse, they claimed I was signing up for a promotion deal that included two free iPads and promised me my monthly bill would be $180. Instead, I ended up paying $275 per month, and every time I asked for clarity or a fix, I got the runaround. It was a bait-and-switch from the start. This place is either a complete scam operation or run by people who have no business touching anyone's account. I've filed complaints with T-Mobile corporate and the FCC, and I hope others see this before they get taken advantage of like I did. Avoid this store at all costs. Go literally anywhere else.

While speaking a man with roller shoes "skated" over. Not very pleasant, more like cocky. He said he was a manager and his name was Tom. I made it clear I did not want to change my plan. I WAS grandfathered into the military one plan and Tom told me since I was grandfathered into the plan it wouldn't change. He also told me I'd get Apple TV for as long as I had a plan with T-Mobile, which I later found out was another lie. Tom told me it would take a while to transfer my items from my old phone to the new one if I wanted to walk around the mall. I left Tom with my phone, phone case and screen protector. When I came to pick up the phone, I asked where my screen protector was. Tom told me he threw it away because it wouldn't fit my phone and was broken. I've had that Zagg screen protector which cost me $60 for 2 years and while it had scratches it still protected my phone screen which was in perfect condition. I was saving it to put on another one of my phones. I saw Madeline go up to him, I'm assuming to talk to him about it, but I heard him say "NO". So I'm out a 60 screen protector which has a lifetime warranty because of a bad decision Tom made. So I get my bill and see my plan charge went from $55 a month to $75, and no this does not include my new phone which is on a separate line under equipment charges. So Tom changed my plan WITHOUT my permission and threw away my lifetime screen protector. I called T-Mobile after realizing this and to say the two representatives I spoke with were appalled that a manager would change my plan without permission is an understatement. The representatives were both so kind and fixed the situation for me. I HIGHLY suggest not going to this store unless you want to get scammed.

The next morning T-Mobile activation dept was to call me to help and never did . So I spent three hours in person that day w Mario helping me to get my Sereno and fixed . Mario was kind - listened to me - he got what I was saying got on the phone after pulling up both my accounts /he canceled the old account - spoke w the activation dept - got my numbers corrected and I ended up buying a phone from Mario . He took the time to help me - he listens and even though I did not go in to up grade my phone - he made the sale just knowing this nice , kind and profession man - was helping me ! This location is scam artists who offer things without disclosing all of the information…read more During a recent experience, we were lied-to or undisclosed: * BOGO I-Phone - when upgrading a line, we were told that they had a BOGO deal if we wanted to upgrade 2 phones. It was undisclosed that this deal required an add-a-line on our plan, and they also stuck an additional $15 data plan on that (unused line) without telling us. * "Free tablet" - I was told that for taking advantage of the BOGO deal, they could give us a free tablet. What was undisclosed is that tablet would require an activation fee AND $20 monthly cel data plan. * Free accessories - to offset some "fees" that they could not waive, I was told that they would give me a case and screen protector for free. I even asked how pricey of a case we could choose and they told me "up to $40." I didn't receive an itemized receipt until after I paid, and then saw that I was charged $40-$50 for each case and each screen protector. Oh, and they made sure to install the screen protector "as a courtesy" which happens to prevent any returns... Upon speaking with the store manager 2 days later, she was completely unwilling to offer any sort of compensation for the lies and lack of disclosure, going as far as to defend the sales reps intentions and try to explain how some $10 charge wasn't put on our purchase (as a way to explain that we didn't get the accessories for free). This pretty clearly shows that the shady sales practices by the employees go all the way up to the manager. Buyer beware. If you shop at this store, ask for itemized details of everything you are offered and look in great detail at any account changes before they charge your card, because they will absolutely, unapologetically scam you.
