What pairs well? Apple's Educator Discount and Florida's back-to-school Sales Tax-Free Days. The convergence of the two brought my wife and me into the store to purchase a Neo. The service. We didn't wait long before an Apple employee asked how they could assist us. All told, three employees assisted us, and provided useful information towards the validation of my wife's educator discount, the current stock of the device she wanted, and the timing of it all. When we returned a couple days later to pick up the Neo, again, the assistance was attentive, friendly, and professional, even in the midst of a very busy store. The store's location can be found easily on the second floor, just a couple stores down from Barnes & Noble (an entry point from the parking lot), and also one of the escalators. read more

NEVER EVER GO TO THIS STORE! It's being run by rude employees who won't help and leave you within 5 minutes.. I was supposed to be there for 20 minutes but I ended up staying for 4 long hours.. I even had an appointment but they said because I was ten minutes late that they dropped me. Then they finally gave me a woman who spent 5 minutes and left. I saw her next to me talking to 3 other employees about an issue a black woman had at my table ( btw , the manager was black and not friendly ) then I complained because no one was helping me, they finally gave me a guy who spent 3 minutes and left, complained, sent me another guy who spent 4 minutes and left, on and on.. it was chaos.. I had a two year old IPad that I had bought there and after an hour and a half of them trying to fix it, ( a woman who stayed with me finally ) she decided it did not work the screen went black again..she said too bad, you didn't but Apple insurance we can't help you.. I ended up having to buy a new IPad, than you very much .. I was so exhausted the next day I missed a doctor's appointment! I WILL NEVER YO TO THAT STORE!! Last year that store was running well.. this year it was a bloody mess! read more

I have been here many times over the years, and my latest experience was as good as my previous visits. The staff are so friendly and seem genuinely interested in assisting you and fixing whatever issue you may have. This visit, I needed the back of my iPhone 16 replaced, so I booked an appointment for the Genius Bar and arrived a few minutes before. I was immediately greeted, they took my info, and sat me at a table. A few minutes later, another staff member arrived and went over what was going to happen. My phone was whisked away, and I sat and took in the atmosphere. They were giving classes on the main screen, which I found very interesting, and I learned things I never knew about my MacBook! About 90 minutes later, my representative arrived with my iPhone as good as new. I paid, thanked the staff, and walked out, happy as a clam! I love the Apple Store! read more

Leadership can be a heavy weight to lift at times. And the opportunity to exercise true leadership really presents itself when it is challenged. Jimmy, apparently a manager at this location, was presented an opportunity today. Unfortunately he chose to fall short of what we collectively would like to see in these positions. For context, I was just another customer, not actually involved but overheard the incident. Which tells me, we was willing to escalate interaction with a confused elderly woman rather than truly try to understand her issue and resolve it. To be fair, she wasn't the most pleasant, but that was due to confusion and lack of understanding. But that's when leadership is supposed to show up...it's NOT an opportunity to be defensive, to be dismissive, or to be offensive. That could have been your grandmother Jimmy. What's worse is that he mocked her on the way out and high fived customers and other employees as if he won something. Unfortunately he lost something, respect. I'll be going to the litany of other Apple stores in the area to do my business. We need to treat our elderly better...especially when it comes to tech. It's not easy, but it truly doesn't have to be hard. read more

Walk in. I was pointed to the manager on deck who immediately had me waiting for someone to help. He pointed me to an area to wait. While waiting someone an Apple employee ask ed me if could help me. I explained my need and he said he could not help. When I informed him I was just told I was going to be helped. His arrogant response was "I'll follow up" and excused me. I went to another employee Jef Firestone who would not give me the other managers name because I told him the arrogant. Quick to have someone to help and give me the information that I need about Air tags made a happy purchase.

Decided to get new phones for the holidays as a gift for each other. Went to this location as it is closer to home, went right after Christmas and the store was full which we thought we were going to wait a long time but no we waited about 5 minutes. Someone came up to us right away took our information and told us to wait until an associate came to us. Daryleen was amazing, she helped us get our new phones right away. She was quick and helpful. We were done with her before we knew it. She was able to put on the screen protector on each of our phones. We got an iPhone 15 pro and iPhone 15 pro max! She was the best. :) thank you ! read more

I walked in around 5:15 to have my laptop looked at. I was given an appointment for 6:35. I received a text at 6:34 to head in. Once I checked in I waited about 5 minutes before someone came over. If you're autistic- don't come to these bright lit Apple stores. Had worst experience with ever! My husband was buying phone but they had me on side lines waiting for my phone to get fixed. They also pair women with single men- they think they are single to up charge and the nerds go to the families. I had to run out of that place with my husband and I'm making him buy a phone online instead. Bad costumer service. Never will be back again!!!!!!!!!! read more

Did you know your local Apple Store offers free classes??? Yep. Photo, Video, Music, Coding, Apps. There's a class for that and more. No charge. We took our first class yesterday and learned so many things we didn't know about iPhone photography. If you're investing $1000+ on a phone shouldn't you know all the features and shortcuts that it's got?! There is so much more that our phones are capable of if we take the time to learn. Michael led our class and Our minds were blown. I've been an iPhone user since 2008 and didn't know some of the features that had been available for years, lol. Love that they offer free classes for the items we're already buying. Kudos to the friendly and helpful staff at the Altamonte Springs location! read more

Thank you Lamar for a wonderful experience!!. I appreciate how well educated and interested he is in the products that he sells, and his super fun and kind demeanor. I do not enjoy shopping, but I do love tech gadgets and lumber yards. Haha. Had a fun and educational time getting some items to make my life a little bit easier. Now, I have never had a bad experience at this store, but I did want to highlight Lamar for his above and beyond assistance. Looking forward to my next visit to the Apple store. read more

Rick gave us AMAZING service on two occasions but the wait is quite horrendous. Even after checking in it feels like you are forgotten about. I had to chase reps around the store. Quite ridiculous. Rick is nothing short of amazing and god sent. On two separate vacations saved the day on two totally different cell phones on our family vacation!! One phone had a VPN issue and the other fell into the pool as my son jumped in accomplishing an epic cannonball . Each time Rick saved the day. Definitely a vacation to remember. Rick gets 5 stars. They've completed revamped this location and it looks great! We popped in just to see the new digs. They re-opened their doors a little later than anticipated due to the hurricane, but it was worth a few extra days wait. The new location is bright, airy and open. It feels like you are walking into a boutique with natural light. Everything is spaced out nicely and they have tons of display merch out for you to look at and test out. Personally I don't own Apple things, but I get the draw to them. This store is a great space and loving all the updates. Overall: A Great newly re-opened location that's been completely redone. Awful experience. The newest IPhone in our household stopped receiving cellular data. Called Apple, they said it was a carrier problem. Went to my carrier and they did a factory reset. After wiping the phone they referred us back to Apple. We went to the store at Altamonte Mall. First, despite there being almost as many staff as patrons, we had to sign in and make a reservation. One hour later they texted us that they were ready for us. Met the first guy. Very nice, think his name was Ankosi. He suggested trying to reload all the software. This took some time. While that was occurring, he was able to look online and see where we had called Apple. According to what he read online, Apple was saying it was a hardware problem. The only solution was replacement as we were out of warranty. We discussed several options, but landed on a replacement phone he had in the store for $425. We agreed and he went off to get us a salesman. Moments later we were introduced to Justin. Ankosi told us that Justin was the best there was. Ankosi was wrong. After Ankosi left, Justin started up selling us to a $700+ phone. When I told him that Ankosi told us $425, he played it off saying that was for an older model 'replacement' phone...why not 'pay a little bit extra to get a newer model'. I explained that almost double was not a little bit more and that we had discussed what we wanted already with Ankosi. Justin was not happy with that response. He pressed and we agree to the more expensive phone provided he could activate it for us. It said it would be no problem to do so. 20 minutes later after several attempts he was unable to set up the phone with my carrier. He suggested I buy the phone from him and go across the street and have my cell provider activate it. Frustrated I told him I had been going back and forth for over a week and wasn't interested in paying$700 for something that was not working with the hope that the next vendor could make it work. We left the store and went across the street. At the OTHER store I was able to buy the phone I wanted and have it activated in under 20 minutes. Will not go to Apple Store again. read more

If If I could give zero stars I would. We first walked in at 4:40. We're told to walk behind two men standing at the back to check in. The men in front of us checked in and the person who checked them in then walked away and we were standing there for about five minutes with nobody coming up to us. I then went up to a random Apple employee and said I need to check in and somebody told us to stand there but nobody has came up to us yet. They finally checked us in at 450 and said we would be seen in 15 minutes. We waited in the designated area that they told us to wait in for 45 minutes. I saw multiple people who came in after us get seen. I stopped a employee and told them we had been waiting for 45 minutes and we had been told it would be 15 minutes and he said OK I will put you next in line. Right after he told me that he checked and somebody else and also told them it would be 15 minutes. The 20 minutes go by and somebody goes to help the same person that got checked in 45 minutes after me. I stop the employee once again and say how am I keep on being told that I'm next but people keep checking in after me and are getting seen before me. He then promises me again that I will be seen next. By this time it had been over an hour, when once again I was told I would be seen in 15 minutes. They then continue to help the person that came in 45 minutes after me. I finally was seen an hour and a half after they initially told me I would be. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I'll preface this by saying Apple phones suck! I had one and all I wanted to do was skip it across a pond. That's neither here nor there. I needed to get a laptop for my daughters birthday. I figured I could just go to the store during my lunch hour and get the item, pay for it and leave. A simple 5 minute transaction right? No wrong!! It's not that simple. You have to wait for one of the flunkies to come find you and take down your name and what you're there for. Then you have to wait around for ever in the middle of a Wednesday afternoon mind you. Don't these Apple cult members have jobs? The quality of the people in the store was way below subpar. I guess government Welfare pays pretty well. I said fvck this shithole. went to Best Buy and was able to get a laptop in no time flat. And actually perform a normal transaction. PS - The people working therewere very nice, but the whole proccess sucks. read more

First time visiting this store and I was immediately overwhelmed with how packed and insane this place looked. But nothing to fear, I had scheduled an appointment for my MacBook Pro that had recently died on me. Scheduling was easy and I arrived about 10 minutes earlier. Went straight to the Genius Bar and was greeted and checked-in. A store associated gathered my information and briefed me on the process of meeting with the technician. Two minutes after my scheduled appointment, technician, Brianna, immediately greeted us, took our info, explained our options and took my Mac to the back to run diagnostics. After about five minutes, she popped by again and explained that my computer was struggling with the newest updated on the software and that she needed to reboot my computer and install the previous software, 12.0. Sucked losing most of my data, but I kind of saw that coming already, so I agreed to having the reboot. Approximately 30 minutes later, my MacBook Pro was just like new. No charge and excellent service. This Apple Store met my expectations! read more

Just like all the reviews you see, this place is awful. Nicole on the phone is rude and should find a new job. Maybe not working with people at all. I called to see if they had 3 Apple Watch series 9 in pink with 45 mm in stock as I want to buy 3 of them. They can't tell me how many they have in stock, they can only tell me they have SOME. I don't give a shit how many you have in total in the whole fucking store, that's not what I was asking. I understand you can't tell me that because of security purposes. HOWEVER, you should be able to tell me if you have 3 or not. I don't live anywhere near Altamonte nor an Apple Store and I refuse to drive all the way there for absolutely nothing. Horrible service. I don't recommend this location. Nicole just pissed me off. I'll make sure to let my large following on my Instagram know all about this so they won't give you business either. read more

This is where you'll find your boyfriend or husband this holiday season. After a 9-month wait, the new Apple store at the Altamonte Mall re-opened and just in time to live stream today's Apple event. Look, it's Apple. I do not need to go into the quality of the brand. You either love it or you don't. I will write I much prefer visiting the store during the work week. (You'd have to pay me to be here on a weekend - madness!) Today, I was greeted by several Geniuses and each one was friendlier than the last. I was invited to "touch everything" (no thanks, big germaphobe me). But I did enjoy watching some of the Apple event here. The place was PACKED. Everyone wanted to learn about the new phone, watch, iPad, and - drumroll, please - AppleTV +, launching Nov. 1st. This new streaming service (and Netflix's next nightmare) will cost only $4.99/month. If you are lucky enough to purchase a phone, watch, or iPad today (9/10), you get the service for free for one year. And that's what you call "game, set, and match!" Better still, today I learned of a wonderful in-house service called "Today at Apple." You can visit Apple.com, select your location and register for any number of classes re: Art Skills, Product Skills, Photography, Kid's Hour and the classes are FREE. Time runs anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. I had an apple iphone ( model 6 plus) and an apple watch. I bought a new phone (model 13). Several apple persons told me my watch would work with my new form. Over 2 months and working with many, many apple people I was told my watch would not work with my new phone. I was also told the best answer is for me the spend another $300 for a new watch. I was also told I could use my old phone and watch together and the watch would work. After a number of attempts over the phones I found I had to drive another 165 mile drive to an Apple store to get this done. Are you serious! Made an appointment online, showed up on time and got checked in immediately. They have a couple different "lines" of which none are lines. They're basically just areas to stand, as I'm sure they go with appointment times. I appreciate how there is a separate pick up line versus appointment line. You can grab your items easily and go. It's bizarre that they have contracted with an outside company for security and temperature checking. But I guess that allows the employees to focus on their job. I was checked in, waited up to 5 min, and then called back for my repair. Assistance was helpful and I was in and out very quickly. I was even told my repair would be free because there was no exterior damage. I was expecting to pay up to $100 with AppleCare coverage, so that was a nice surprise. My phone has been "broken" since December, but it has been exceedingly difficult to get an appointment that worked with my schedule. I'm glad to see the Altamonte store open and the schedule opening up. I got the date and time I wanted. The repair was promised in one hour. I came back a couple hours later, waited a few minutes in the pickup line and was told it would be $29. I explained I was told it would be free? She made a few checks and changes and sure enough, it was free. I wonder if I had paid, if they would have recognized and refunded me on the back end? I doubt it. My advice- Be vocal people. If they said free, it should be free. And luckily, after a few changes and an apology, it was free. My phone is perfect again. Thank you! read more

"I tried to, but they told me to walk in" "The call center doesn't have the capabilities to make appointments" "They called you SPECIFICALLY to make sure that I could come in before making the drive" "Well, we don't have time for you today."
