Beware of this store's incompetence and lying. I was emailed and notified through my AT&T app that I could get a battery replacement. I schedule here at this location and, for starters, the employee said they were not honoring any appointments because he was the only employee there and nobody else showed up for work. So I waited and an hour later Felipe the assistant manger shows up to help him out. I gave them my phone and waited around for 3 hours. After taking around 5 hours of my day I finally get an answer from Felipe that they could not complete the battery replacement because it failed to sync. Upon getting the phone back the entire back glass was broken and taped together. Obviously I am upset and he tells me that they don't have any back glass so I would have to go to another store or call Asurion. So I call Asurion and they stated because the technician broke the glass they would send me a replacement device expedited and at no cost to me. Guess who has an extra $200 charge on their bill this month? Apparently the technicians lied to my face and closed the ticket out saying the charging port was bad. THIS WAS NEVER TOLD TO ME OR EXPLAINED AT ALL. And the agent over the phone for Asurion lied to me as well stating the replacement device would not cost anything. SO beware of any battery replacements that your carrier offers, they put you in a scenario where they lie and force you to pay $200 for a replacement device. read more

U break I fix claims they are Samsung authorized repair specialists and they also claim to restore their Samsung phone repairs back to its original water resistant state after any sort of fix. I was told by U Break I Fix that Samsung gives them the necessary materials (glues, sealants, etc) to put a phone back to its original water-resistant state. I have had other Samsung water resistant phones repaired there at U Break I Fix in the past and they've all kept their full water resistance after repair. This time I came in about 4 weeks ago to get my screen replaced as there were some dead pixels on the screen (no cracks or damage anywhere). A few days later the phone was submerged for about 5 seconds less than a foot under water and boom.. The phone instantly dies... The phone is a Note 10, 512 GB, 5G version from Verizon.. A $1,400 dollar value at purchase two years ago. I've not only lost lost pictures videos and other app data that was important to me, but my backup phone is so slow I can't even work efficiently. U Break I fix employee's keep sending me in circles saying they will speak to their managers. Latest update is we must take it up with corporate, but no one will get back to us. This has been ongoing for almost a month now and I expect better communication from such a large company. read more

Update. I took my phone back because the screen was too much to handle with having to type super slow and go back and forth over what I was trying to text. The guy said it was probably a defective screen and to come in whenever. Brought it by them two days later and they replaced it within an hour. I've gotten dozens of devices fixed here for the company I work for and never have I had such a bad experience! I took a tablet back to the store for a redo because it was 1 of 3 that I got back and the screen was not flush with the frame. I got a call today to come pick it up after dropping it off yesterday and I'm handed the device looking the exact same as I brought it in! The kid there who claimed to be the manager said he was also the best tech in the store and unfortunately it's the best he could do. I asked if there was someone else that could do it correctly and he said that I could take it to another store because he's the best at the Apopka location. I've attached photos of the device taken immediately after leaving the store. Unacceptable workmanship, little effort in repairs, and zero customer service skills coming from this store! read more

Took my sons older phone in for a broken screen. They had the part already in store so no need to wait for a new one to be ordered and shipped. Took it in to be fixed around 3:30pm and got it back same day at 7. Wow, super impressed. Guy I worked with was super nice and helpful. Didn't get his name though. read more

I've been to this store a couple times now. Once for a battery replacement and the other to replace a screen. Both times the tech was friendly and answered any question I had. They usually quote your repair time on the high side but each time I had my phone back within 30 minutes. read more

Took my phone in a have fixed cost $160 less than a week later the screen pops up and breaks and they won't cover their own work because they didn't put the screen in properly. Terrible service. I will never use them again. Complete waste. read more

On Sunday January 5th I brought in a IPad Air with a cracked screen after picking up a IPad which had a similar problem. I told Daniel A that I would pick up on Tuesday the 8th of January. I took my phone in to these guys after dropping it just right and cracking the digitizer. Up until that point, I'd just been limping along, looking through a spiderweb of cracks. The part was expensive, but it's OEM, as good as the original. They gave me a discount on replacing the back glass, which was also cracked. I fully expected them to charge me full price for each repair, so that was a nice surprise. The phone was done in less than 2 hours. It looks factory new. In fact, it looks weird, because I'm not used to looking at the completely clear screen. These guys got it done, and done well, with one of the more difficult-to-repair phones. My phone was fixed improperly all 4 times the Ubreakifix employees fixed my phone. In the month of may i had to go to the same Ubreakifix every week for a new screen hoping for a better deal. Every time they insist i was too harsh with my phone. After the second break i noticed that they we getting EVEN MORE lazy with the application of my screen. I would see it popping off my phone. I'd walk in hours after i noticed and they insisted i did something to the phone within those few hours to make it pop. After the third visit they stretched my flexible case that I've had on the phone for as long as i owned it. I asked them to order me a new case because they new i was frustrated with the situation. They insisted no one comes back a second time but my third time there i met 4 people who were coming back their 2-3 time. i had to come back a fourth time with a cracked screen and the case was never order. I came back a week even after that and it was the wrong case. I told them i felt as though they were scamming me. Having me go more weeks waiting for the case and the fact that they do everything wrong. and nothing made sense being that i never left once happy. After my last crack they refused to open my phone in front of them. And refused to give me service since i was a VERY unhappy customer. I've kept that crack screen until now July. I took it to a NON UBREAKIFIX repair shop and he gave me the back piece of my screen that was missing bars, screws and he said they did it completely wrong on purpose. I called for a refund, telling the ibreakifix from Apopka about everything that was missing from the last time they fixed I.T. they told me the notes they had in their system was not a good reason for any refunds. When he read my the comments of the notes i know that employees wrote everything wrong in the system. They didn't have any of my complaints for concerns in the notes. I told them they can charge for the first time if they are money hungry. But the rest were unnecessary. that when i told me i wasn't getting a refund. I told them i was going to reach out to corporate and the employees nor the manager on the phone cared the slightest bit. I hope to get my refunds and also something to fix the staff at that location. It's July 14th now and I'm still mad about it. My phone still stuck and i spend hella money on gas cause my navigation is fucked since them. Fuck ubreakifix. I wish i can post with NO STARS. read more

Do not get your phone repaired at this location! They messed up my original repair. When I returned with the phone they said it was outside of the warranty window. After repairing my phone again when I went to pick up the phone, it would not stop turning off and on. They kept the phone overnight and I had to delay my trip to pick back up again. They did not include anything for the second inconvenience and the manager on duty refused to do anything more. Moreover the manager whom I spoke with previously on the phone stated they would work something out, but did not notate in my account that we had spoken. Daniel and Joshua as the managers did not clearly state their role so this was very frustrating. I have returned two more times for the ended up replacing the microphone after the back glass was replaced twice. I still have problems with every phone call and my sound has not been the same. read more

Absolutely terrible service. Not only they failed in their second attempt to fix my battery they also failed on letting me know they couldn't fix it. They left me hanging until I had to contact them to ask what had happened. Never ever I will have any of my family go here My phone screen broke and I took it to get fix on Thursday it's wasn't bad I get my phone back $120 later and 3 hr after that wasn't the problem on Saturday I look at my phone my screen was broken aging with out even dropping my phone 2 cracks on my screen when I call the guy said I have to pay another $60 to get it fix it wasn't even 48 hr later smh ‍ I can't even believe it what a shame read more

Waiting for the camera that was ordered to complete the repair of my iPhone. So far they had to replace the glass after my phone had been stolen with my purse, i believe it was thrown from a vehicle along with my car keys. Thanks to the "Find my phone" app. I found it! While I was waiting for my phone repair, they were able to straighten my house keys and replaced my key rings for free! Very kind folks, attempting to keep my costs down, and very knowledgeable also! I paid $80 for a screen to be replaced on my iPhone two weeks later it broke just by setting it down on the table. I called them and ask if they could replace it since it wasn't very old and I thought that may have had a crack in it at time of purchase because I noticed a slight crack a day later but thought it was my screen protector after a closer inspection I discovered it was broken. Long story short they said No, that they could charge me $70 dollars And they would put a new screen on it for me.,.hmm so I paid $80 so that meant they would not stand by their workmanship and give me a whole 10 dollars off to buy another one and I would pay them $70 two days later to get a new screen when the first one was defective and damaged or could have meant they damaged it when they put it on at time of service due to not knowing what they were doing...They also seemed to all be in training and argued amongst each other right in front of three customers, one being myself, very unprofessional. Went in for a simple screen repair on my iPhone X. Only took an hour, awesome. Once I got the phone I immediately noticed in my car that the screen was not flush with the phone and the Face ID did not work. I took it back in and they said they would look at it. The people in the store were very nice. After 15 minutes they pretty much said they didn't know, and gave me a tempered glass screen protector or something for the inconvenience and told me to try updating my software. Then I update the software once I get home and the Face ID STILL does not work. We call back and the customer service said they don't know and that we would have to pay an EXTRA $149 on top of the $200 for a new phone. I could have traded in the cracked phone for another one for cheaper than this. We then just asked for a refund and they said they would need to put the CRACKED screen back on. SO what happens when they put the cracked screen on and now I am DOWN both WATER RESISTANCE and FACE ID. Do I get anything in compensation for you guys basically breaking my phone? read more

Dropped off my son's PS4 on a Sunday. They told me 1-3 days for the diagnostic. They called me on Tuesday morning to ask if they could "wipe" the device and install a new hard drive if needed. I agreed. They said they would call me. By Thursday afternoon I had not heard anything, so I called them. They told me that the tech was still working on it but was not there at the moment to update me. They said they would call me before the close of the business day. The next day, Friday, I still had not heard from them so I called again. They said they were having trouble with the device and that they were trying different "OS's" which I assume meant operating systems. They said they would call me and give me an update before the end of the business day. By 6:30 that day, I still had not heard anything so I called again. At that time, I was informed that there is a tech who travels from store to store to work on consoles and that the last time the tech was there had been Wednesday. I questioned the lack of communication and transparency at which time I was placed on hold. When the technician returned from the hold, he told me the device was unrepairable. I went and picked up the device. I took it to a different uBreakiFix location and they fixed the device in under 24 hours and called me 3 times to update me within that timeframe. The lack of transparency and responsiveness is the reason for this poor review. read more
