After a horrible experience with AT&T after being a customer for 6 years, Verizon was a breath of fresh air. When we walked in, although the employees were helping customers they immediately acknowledged our presence. After a short wait, Jaime assisted us. He was helpful, knowledgable, and extremely patient, for we had a ton of questions. He was enthusiastic and you could really tell that he enjoyed his work and interacting with customers. Although he spent a lot of time with us going over different plans and options, as each customer came in and the store got more crowded, the staff still greeted each, letting them know they would get to them shortly. If Verizon's great products and services didn't sell us, Jaime still would have. He then had us finish the transaction with Dwight, and he was just as helpful. He knew a lot and answered all of our questions, eager to make small talk conversation while everything was being complete! As someone who works in customer service, I thrive seeing others who treat customers the way they hope they would be treated. Blown away by this stores customer service! You cannot imagine how wonderful i think this Verizon store at Pearlridge is! From the greeting to the overall service to the follow through. Especially Tony, my Verizon specialist and Germaine who worked tiredlessly to make sure i could have a phone to keep in contact with my family on my way to Florida! I did the research and checked availability before going to this store location, so i knew exactly what I wanted and made sure it was available through the verizon website. When I went in, it was fairly busy and close to their closing hours. I let the associate, who approached me, know that I was interested in upgrading my broken phone to a iphone 4 black or white. He said there we're 2 people ahead of me but that they'd be able to help me with that as soon as they were done. Over half an hour later another associate finally helped me so I told him what I wanted and he immediately started to attempt to upsell me on phone cases and bundles at a discounted rate. I politely turned it down because I wasn't interested. He asked what color and I said which ever. He checked in the back and said they didn't have any in stock (Really now?). I told him I checked availability earlier today and it said BOTH colors were in stock. He replied with yeah i don't know your the second person that but we don't have it, and he mentioned that a guy sold 7 of them today so maybe that's why. So I wanted to know about what was available and he immediately started steering me to going to another store and getting the iphone because he says it's the best smart phone out there and that he'd had one since the beginning. Hhmm? I was thoroughly irritated by this guy's shady-ness. After I got hom,e I immediately got on the computer to see if the availability had changed and it still showed BOTH colors were in stock. How can the inventory for 2 different colors be in stock still?! Oh and as we we're leaving he took his phone out of his pocket AND it wasn't even an iphone like he previously said he had. What a f'cking liar! HORRIBLE SERVICE, I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION EVER!!! Dont go to John at the pearlridege store, he's great at up selling even if its the wrong product. My wife purchased an iPhone 12 Pro-Max and he sold us a case and screen protector which I understand but both items were the wrong size and told us we "NEEDED A NEW CHARGER" iphone charger from old iPhones wont work, wrong again she charged her new phone with old charger just fine. I used to dread going to Verizon stores, especially if it was regarding any phone issues. Whenever I mentioned a phone problem, like the battery not holding a charge, I always got the same response: Verizon Rep: "Did you drop your phone?" Me: "No." Verizon Rep: "Why is there a mark here?" Me: "Cuz I use it and leave it in my bag?" Verizon Rep: "No, this looks like it's been dropped." Me: "I did not drop it." Verizon Rep: "Well, you need to buy a new battery." Me: "You told me that last week. I bought it, and it's still not holding a charge." Verizon Rep: "Well, you should buy another one." Me: "ARGHHHHH!!!" Because of these types of experiences, I avoided Verizon stores like the plague. I didn't switch carriers because I like the coverage :P Anyways, a couple months ago, I had some questions about my plan, so with a stress ball in hand, I marched into the Pearlridge store. Thankfully, it was a slow period, and I was immediately greeted by an Associate with a smile! Was I in the right store?! Hmmm... I then proceeded to ask him questions, and he actually took the time and effort to provide me with the answers that I needed. I was totally shocked, and pleasantly surprised! Since then, I have visited this store multiple more times for various reasons (ie. phone upgrading, add a line, questions, etc), and every single time, the Associates have provided excellent customer service, and on many occasions they have gone above and beyond their duties to make sure that everything was taken care of. Special thanks go out to Jorge, Keith, Jake, Sinjen, and Diamond - they are definitely valuable assets to Verizon, and have made me proud to say that I am a Verizon Wireless customer :) read more

I drive from the East side to Verizon at Pearlridge because of their outstanding service, when I could easily go to Verizon at Kahala Mall which is a block from where I live. The nice fellow that helped me 2 years ago with my iPhone purchase was not there. This time, I was helped by Lindsey Read and she was just as friendly and accommodating. It's so refreshing to meet someone as beautiful on the inside as the outside. I'm sure that in 2 years when I upgrade again, she will not be there like the first fellow. Workers this good will move on to bigger horizons, but Verizon Pearlridge always manages to find another "Solutions Specialist" that is top-notch. This review is primary for the great help that Mishan provided me with. If not for her I probably would have given Verizon a 2 or 3 star review. Here's what happened. On the 19th, the Note 7 was released. I showed up at around 10am to use my Upgrade and pick it up as I had been anxiously awaiting it since I heard about the official release date. When I went to pick it up I had to initially wait for a galhalf hour while others were being helped, and I think they may have skipped me in the line up. Afterwards when I was finally helped and had been pitched all tge additional items I went to check out and there was an issue in the system to where th phone was not recognized or something or the other. Either way Mishan tried feverishly to try to process my phone so I could leave with my much awaited phone. I had to leave for work so i opted to put the phone on hold and told then id return later. Later on when the issue was resolved Mishan contacted to let me know the phone was set to go. I went to pick up my phone and Mishan Morgan was again more then helpful. After I had purchased the screen protector a fellow named John also took the time out to help me out. Very very friendly and helpful staff. Again if it was for the process of actually receiving the phone upon release and meeting the expectations of my excitement it's be a 1 star. But for The staff and service, it's 5 stars and then some. Been ino the store three times in the last 2 weeks with issues with my newly purchased Iphone 8. I admit the problelms were very strange and after the third visit, the GM Jay and tech Jay was able to send me off a happy camper. I came in to this location because it was the closest to my house. I came in to activate a device and was told that I wasn't able to do it. I bought the device from a friend and was told from the Pearl city location that we was able to activate it. I came here in, explained what I wanted to do and without checking my friends account first they automatically told me it was deactivated already and unable to bring it back. I even had the manager talk to my friend and the manager which is a Filipino lady gave my friend a hard time on the phone. Lots of attitude on the phone and also with me after talking to my friend. That is not how you treat customers! I did not give her any attitude to deserve that kind of sass. I walked out and went to the pearl city location. I was helped and issue resolved. I was able to activate my device through the pearl city location. Don't waste your time coming to this location, they don't even try to help you or explain anything. They basically wanted me out since they didn't even bother to check any information about the device i wanted to activate. No wonder its always slow at this location. I frequent Pearlridge a lot and always notice the store empty so the employees are just standing there talking. read more

We like coming to this location because they always provide excellent customer service. From the time we switched to Verizon and opened up our contract here, the workers were always so helpful no matter how busy they get. DWIGHT was very patient with us and helped us with our upgrade. I was curious as to what kind of monthly price they'd offer compared to what I have with AT&T. I am not a Verizon customer but being that my local AT&T office was closed, due to the hurricane and me needing a new phone case we went to pearl ridge and walked past Verizon. We decided to walk in and see what they had. We found the phone cases and then had some questions. There was a guy at the counter who was not busy so we asked him for help. He answered all of our questions and helped us with screen protectors and otter boxes. He even offered to put everything together for us. Our phones were still in the boxes they were shipped to us in so we unveiled them there. He said, I don't mind you didn't get your phone's from us. We laughed and said they will got our accessory business because at&t was closed. He kept us engaged the whole time and even thanked us and shook our hands on the way out. Fair warning. No complaint against the staff when purchasing a new iPhone or iPad. Oh, they'll have your iPad or iPhone working before you leave the store. But - Verizon charged 'early termination' fees of $175 each for two iPads I've upgraded. The 'early termination' charge was for iPads I've owned for over a decade. I contacted the Verizon help desk multiple times to no satisfaction and approached two managers at the Pearl Ridge store: Chucky and Jay. Chucky was able to refund three months of charges Verizon continued to charge against my iPad 3 *after* Chucky promised to disconnect when I upgraded. Yet neither Chucky nor Jay could get Verizon to void the 'early termination' charges of $175 for the two iPads I owned for considerably longer than the two year contacts. I asked Jay a week ago to resolve this. Jay never called me back, and even when I was in the store he wouldn't guarantee a resolution despite the fact the charge was clearly not warranted. Both managers literally played dumb as did the help desk. I wouldn't give negative feedback if this was once, but this is twice Verizon charged me and neither manager or help desk could resolve the issue - not even the "pro team" the help desk promised would contact me but never did. The only reason I have not cancelled my Verizon service is they have a monopoly on coverage where I reside. Seriously frustrated with the customer service at Verizon Pearl Ridge. They're accommodating when you're buying, but obstinate when the company is clearly overcharging. Buyer beware: make sure - *make sure* - they disconnect your old iPhone or iPad before you leave the store. Disconnect meaning you see in your account the old iPhone or iPad is removed online. I am convinced this is a scam Verizon pulls on all its customers and wins the greater percentage of the time because the customer gives up out of frustration. Do not leave the store with your upgrade until you see the old device removed from your account. Do not, do not, trust the staff or believe their 'assurances'. I did and it cost me $400. read more

What terrible service. After checking in to only buy a screen protector I had to wait 30 mins before some one asked me what I needed help with. After explaining that I just needed a screen protector, he tells me that he actually needs to help another customer and that I have to wait. Why ask someone what they need if you're only going to cut them off and help someone else? No apology just walks away. I don't know if it's because I'm not spending thousands of dollars on the iPhone x but that really was terrible service. My husband and I had the worst experience at this store. The first rep sold us a plan which had a $30 difference when we went home to rechecked the contract. Came back to change into another plan and was told the wrong information AGAIN. Had to come back to this store 3 times to have the manager not help us at all. He just apolgized for the incorrect information the rep gave us. Then he asked for all of our phone accessories back (used) so he could refund us $100 which was owed to us from our second visit for changing our plan. Now we have to come back a 4th time because he took the sd card out of my phone and i didnt have the package with me. My husband and I are very reasonable people and hardly complain about anything. after nearly 25 years with verizon, it's gotten to the point where I need to get rid of their service and move on to a carrier that will better serve their loyal customers. I went into the store to have my phone checked by technical support, and was told my phone needed to be replaced, being it was only 3 months old and still under warranty, they placed an order for a replacement, after waiting for a few days, no replacement phone came.I went back to the store, and found they had shipped the replacement phone to the wrong address.That's when the whole nightmare began! The value of the replacement phone was added to.my monthly billing. For the past 5 months I have been going around in circles with financial support and customer service, trying to get this matter resolved not to mention having my services interrupted every month for the.past 5 months and having to repeat myself every time customer service would transfer me to financial support then financial support would transfer me back to customer service because I disputed the charges not to mention the many times my call got dropped between the two departments and I would have to call back again and repeat myself from the beginning. I was finally pointed into the right direction and was told to go back to the store to speak with the store manager, which they gave me his name, and was aware of the situation. I was told I needed to show proof of residence so a credit could be issued. after doing so, I was told by the store manager, that the amount was beyond his authorization and it would have to go to his superior. The next day the store manager called to say the credit was approved and it take anywhere between one to two billings cycles to show up. I thought the situation as over and done with...but I was wrong! my service was again interrupted even with the pending credit. My phone service was turned back on only to have it interrupted again within a week. I spoke with the store manager who had my services reconnected. and was told that the outstanding balance was being taken care of right away That was yesterday 10/23.. All the time and not to mention the frustration I've been put through to get this whole matter resolved is just not worth being loyal to. I'd like to know, who's going to pay to have this removed from my credit history that has been going against me for the past few months, every time you interrupted my service for a balance that was not my fault? read more

I spent the previous weekend at another vendor who sold Verizon products trying to connect a LG Gismo (childs wrist watch with tracking device). In which the vendor was eventually unable to trouble shoot the connection problem for me. I went to the Verizon Pearlridge location and was helped by Solutions Specialist Joe Feraldi who over a time period of over 2 hours at the store, was able to trouble shoot the connection problem I was having and solved it. THIS is dedication to customer service and satisfaction at its best. Thank you Verizon for having such dedicated people on your staff. This location has THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. We were greeted by a woman who wore so much makeup on her face, I can only assume that she was a clown. Her job is to solely stand around with a freaking tablet, not to help the customers at all (with the exception of writing down their name), I've never heard of such a thing, especially when there were so many other customers, either current or potential, sitting around waiting to be helped. We waited there for about 30 minutes (on a weekday, in the middle of the day), just to respond to one of Verizon's many texts attempting to lure us in to upgrading our cell phones. We were finally able to speak to someone that had clearly already checked out of work. She must have used all her fake talk and smiling for the customer before us, because she acted so. At the end of the day, she told us that we would pay a small fortune to upgrade our phones, so we headed to TMobile and haven't looked back since! read more

I ordered a 64GB iPhone 6+ in the store, when I was checking my data usage I saw that they had sold me a 16GB phone instead. When I went back to the store they said 'too bad' and if I wanted the 64GB phone I had to pay an additional $200 over the price of the phone as a penalty. I said it wasn't fair for me to have to pay for their mistake, they didn't care and told me to call customer service. This is FRAUD! read more
