Throughout the many years I've been coming here things were great as a child. Growing up I find there isn't too much this store has to offer. While a long run and what seems like its going strong, visiting CVS is very lack luster. This location is prime as it does have a pharmacy and what I believe keeps this location going for the long run. Everything else seems mediocre. In my personal experience I could find the same products else where at a lower price. The selection of items seems limited and there is just no real reason for me to come and shop. While for others, I'm pretty sure CVS is the place to be, not me. There seems to be lacking in employees. Its difficult to ask for help when I am looking for something that I may need at the time. Usually I would need to walk to the front register as there is someone there. While they do have multiple registers, usually there is only one person ringing up everyone. My thing started buzzing that I needed an attendant to help. It probably said 10 times help is on the way. She finally came and then said oh go ahead and put your date of birth in, and she walks away. No one else is around. No apology, did not check my ID, no other acknowledgments.. I stopped coming to the pharmacy a long time ago, but the store is slow and unfriendly many times. There was a younger gentleman who used to work here. He was great. The lack of good workers here also is reflected with literally everything being locked up in the facial care section. You can't even re-labels anymore because you have to wait 15 minutes for somebody to come and open the door.

The pharmacy is definitely not the best by several miles, but they keep this store clean and typically more stocked up than in previous years. The parking lot is pretty easy and as a stand alone location, not in a shared plaza or shopping center you can get in and out fairly quickly. I pass this location often in North Hollywood, being a beat away from North Hollywood Station and L.A. Metro hub, but tend to find myself at the other North Hollywood locations, also on Lankershim. A lot of items are locked up as part of lost prevention/inventory protection for high theft items, but this is kind of happening at several locations including the others in the area. It's not that big of location so the "y mas" might through you off. While North Hollywood is very diverse (like the SFV #MeltingPot) with an amazing Latin American & Hispanic population, pero no creo que the "and more" adds anything that shouldn't already be part of CVS including products and multilingual staff. I understand the frustations with the pharmacy alone, but I pop in for a snack, hydration, and small things and have only had an issue once with products and once with the pharmacy in the past years. Typically open everyday from 7AM to 11AM, pharmacy hours are from 10AM to 6PM or until 9PM. The pharmacy does close for lunch from 1:30PM until 2PM. Self-check out is easy.

I continued shopping, but eventually had to step out briefly to use the restroom at Ralph's. When I returned, all of my items had been removed, and I had to start my shopping over from scratch. This added a lot of unnecessary time and frustration. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. Clear communication and better customer consideration would have made a big difference. I wouldn't recommend this location. They could have admitted "Yes, i apologize.." would have been more polite. Not only that I peed myself a little since I have stomach problems.
