Drinks!

We stopped in for a quick drink and ended up loving our time here! Wonderful interesting cocktails combined with attentive staff made it a great first experience! Can't wait to come back!

Verdigris is a classy, chic cocktail bar! It's really beautiful and quiet. Perfect spot for an intimate date night! I ordered a gin Bramble $14 which was too watered down and had way too much ice but, of the little drink that I did get it tasted very nice. I also tried the polenta fries and popcorn. Great snacks. Not a place I would return to in the future. Bit of an older crowd than I prefer and drinks were a bit watered down. Service was fine! Check it out yourself!

Elegance in a glass

I traveled to Overland Park for a meeting and discovered this classy cocktail lounge. My colleague and I stopped in for a drink. I tried the CLOVER CLUB which has gin, dry vermouth, raspberry, lemon, egg white. Not only was it elegant it was delicious! Our server was very nice and her recommendations were on point.

Great cocktail bar, probably the best one so far south in the city. Love the decor and ambiance, the servers are great, and the drinks are top notch. Little pricey but what would you expect in that location? The smokey popcorn is great and the smashburger is solid.

Cocktails as an art form! We stopped in for drinks on a Saturday night and were excited to see the creative menu, upscale vibes, and art deco decor. It truly was like stepping into another world from the suburban family-oriented Park Place shopping center! I ordered the Social Affair, which somehow tasted like coffee despite being completely clear. I also enjoyed the Ephemerality, which had a fresh botanical flavor and came with an edible flower. All of our drinks were truly unique, with a cool presentation and interesting flavor combinations. Highly recommend visiting and sitting at the bar so you can see these talented cocktail masters at work!

I stumbled into this spot while I was staying in the area and it was my favorite find. The drinks are so unique and fun experiences. They have a great variety of drink offerings so everyone can find something they like. I tried the Malachite shot, Grand Arcana and Social Affair. Grand Archana was easily my favorite but I would order any of them again! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. It's a quaint moody space with outdoor seating available for nice weather evenings.

Oh you fancy huh! First experience with Verdigris and I was extremely impressed. This is a great spot for high end cocktails. The food my group had was very good too. I really appreciated the menu design and layout, with their different groupings of cocktails. I'm confident you'll be able to find something you like. With great flavors and attention to detail, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely keep this place in mind. Whether you're looking for a nice place to go with a group or somewhere for a romantic date night, Verdigris has you covered with great atmosphere both inside and outside. The service was solid and professional as well.

Verdigris is a great cocktail lounge in south Overland Park. It is a great atmosphere and perfect place for an after dinner date! The service is always high quality and they always provide great recommendations. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a high quality drink and also their snacks are great as well! (Check out the smoked popcorn)

Amazing food and service!! The bartenders are so helpful and kind. The cocktails are a little bit pricey but the taste is fabulous.

After hearing so many good things about this bar. Verdigris has been on my list of cockbars to visit . The vibe was perfect with super cute decor and great music. Tonight the music was a mix of pop & hip hop. I had a chance to order the Shrimp appetizer. It was great and full of flavor . This place gives off good vibes !

Versigris is upping the brunch game in Leawood and setting the bar for what an elevated brunch experience should be on the menu: shrimp and grits, eggs benedict, french toast, and brunch cocktails (moonwalk & garden summer sour) our thoughts: the cocktails are phenomenal and the entire space is stunningly beautiful. absolutely loved the french toast, both sweet & tart and really delicious our tip: this brunch is 21 and older only, so leave the kiddos at home for this one and enjoy a relaxing, upscale brunch date with your adult brunch crew kiddo menu available: no

Ended the night here with my friends from day drinking. Due to this place from my last visit, I turned over a new liking to gin so I got the French 75, Thanks in advance ( wink) setting was cute and intimate service was great. Definitely will be back again.

Great cocktails but super extra. Knew it was going to be so we went early - it is perfect for Leawood & Overland Park.

Maybe update the hours on your website so that we don't go out of our way to make a visit only to find the whole shop dark?

We first visited in 2024 and it has become or local go-to when the wife and I want cocktail outside of the house. The staff is really friendly and because of them they give it a kinda of Cheer's vibe, cause they recognize their return patrons every time.

Lots of different types of seating - bar, comfy chairs and table with chairs in a space that will hold about 80. The drinks are a little spendy about $16 and no happy hour pricing. I had a stirred dirty vodka martini. It was good but I prefer shaken martini that skates (iykyk). My friend ordered an fireside old fashioned. The rum made it sweeter and the cinnamon stick was a nice touch. The menu offers several old fashioned and martini options. They also offer some lite bar bites for snacking. If you live in Olathe and like cocktails this is definitely worth a stop. If you don't - it's quite the drive and there are other bars probably closer and just as cool.

Decent option for dinner…read more I stopped by earlier this week on my first night in town, and sat at the end of the bar. The bartender served me a Guinness (on tap, of course!) and then recommended the Monday Steak Night special ($60) - a prix fixe option which included a salad plus one of four types of steak, sides, and dessert. I opted for the house salad (with sherry vinaigrette dressing), the hangar steak (he was selling it hard!), sautéed green beans, and lemon meringue pie. The house salad was superb, with delicious chunks of goat cheese! I also enjoyed the sautéed green beans, loaded with sliced almonds and fresh garlic. The hangar steak was probably the most disappointing, and solely responsible for this review not earning 5 stars. I took half of it to go along with half of the green beans. The lemon meringue pie looked delicious but I could not eat another bite, so that also went into a to-go container. Back in my hotel room that night, working late as I was jet lagged, I ate that pie. OMG! PURE HEAVEN!! And the main reason this review earned 4 stars! Will be back for the salad and green beans and pie! And some Guinness on tap, of course!!

Overpriced chicken, a stellar mushroom side, and an aggressive exit strategy…read more After some custom cocktails nearby, our famished group headed to Rye for some dinner and dessert. The space was nice and clean, but unfortunately, the service and the "famous" main course didn't quite deliver a stellar performance. Our table was split--some wanted dinner, some wanted dessert. This apparently threw our waiter into a state of deep existential confusion. The Food: I ordered their "famous" fried chicken, customizing it to three thighs (which came with homemade pickles and a fantastic ham gravy). For $24, it wasn't bad, but it's definitely not "famous" for flavor--maybe just famous for the price tag. Honestly, I could have filled up at Popeyes for a fraction of the cost. Surprisingly, the absolute star of my meal was the side of sautéed mushrooms. It came with little pearl onions, shallots, and green peas. I topped it with some of my friend's arugula to make it fancy, and it was delicious. The Service (or lack thereof): Here's where it went downhill. The dessert order became a saga. Those who ordered sweets expected them to arrive with the mains, but we had to ask several times just to get them toward the end of the meal. By the end, our waiter seemed completely frustrated with our existence. He aggressively boxed up the remaining desserts and semi-forcefully shoved the credit card machine into our faces to shuffle us out the door. Great mushrooms, aggressive math at the end. Proceed with caution.
