5 Star Service in a remarkably short period of time!!! I found Vera's Corner on-line when I searched for last minute alterations. I called Vera on a Wednesday morning and explained that I had a fairly elaborate gown that needed to be altered in the bust area but I needed to have the dress in my hands by Friday morning. She was very nice and confident and she told me to bring it in as soon as possible and that she could do it. So I rushed the dress to her that morning and sure enough she returned it to me Friday morning perfectly altered and ironed for a very, very reasonable rate. I am so grateful for her professionalism and expertise. She even helped me to get into my undergarments so that I could try on the dress and ensure that it was altered properly. Went in with a pair of pants, I put them on at the place and the measurements were taken fast and the pants came out perfectly within a couple hours. Reasonable prices for same day tailoring. Great customer service here and great product. Had two suit pants hemmed and they only had a two day turnaround. I had the feeling they'd be willing to do it overnight if I was in a huge rush but I had a week so two days was fine. They were both so nice and pleasant and their prices were more than reasonable. Excellent Tailoring! I purchased 3 Men's Big & Tall suits online & went to get tailoring done here after seeing the great reviews. Vera made me feel right at home with great customer service and her years of experience were quite evident & on display during my fittings. The tailoring was professionally done and I was happy to pay $40 per suit to get a custom fit on each. Work done: tapered legs, shortening of sleeves, one waist taken in and hems in the pants w/cuffs. It would have cost me a LOT more downtown at the fancy shops to have it all done at a quality level. repair skirt ..BUT changed metal button for plastic buttons..and they continued to lie as i explained i received as a gift from the designer and he WOULD NOT have used those buttons fob off to me. i was soo disappointed .. . lesson learned take picture before i go to any place for alterations /repairs . read more
