I've been bringing my clothes here…read morefor about 2 years and I've spent hundreds of dollars for dry cleaning and minor alterations during that period. I dropped off a stack of clothes about two weeks ago, and picked up this afternoon. Upon arriving home, I realized that my white blouse (a white button up, long sleeve) had yellow streaks on both sleeves as well as sporting on the front by the collar. The shirt did not have stains before I brought it in and I asked for a dry cleaning. I took the shirt back about 10 minutes later. The woman proceeded to tell me that the shirt was like that when I brought it in (a $200 shirt in like new condition). She would not take accountability for the staining and insisted that I did not know what I was talking about--as though I didn't know what my own clothes looked like before I brought them in. She gave me my $8 back unprompted and commented that she could try stain removal AGAIN. This wasn't an "again" situation--there was not significant yellowing to the top before I brought it there. I walked out, and went to another cleaner/tailor. This individual confirmed my suspicion: given the extent of the yellowing, it's likely that the blouse reacted to something applied to it during cleaning. I should have known better--just two months ago, the sleeve of another sweater was damaged here following a repair (I didn't complain then because it was minor, but I should have). Based on my experience today, I do not believe that this business respects its customers and stands by its services. I hope that others have better luck.

It was difficult enough trying to find a tailor that does swimsuits due to a special sewing machine that is needed but I found Dejavu Tailoring right away online & booked an appointment easily on the website. The pricing is reasonable & the work was beautifully done. I needed this bathing suit for my upcoming trip to Italy & was relieved it was done so fast. Kai is friendly, professional & very skilled. I'm happy to have found him. Most people don't know how hard it is to find a good tailor. I'm going with Kai @ Dejavu Tailoring from now on.

The staff said the seamstress would fix it, so I left the pants. When I came back two weeks later, nothing had been done. I asked for a refund, but they told me they don't give refunds. Instead, they offered to pay only 1/3 of the cost of the pants--which is unacceptable, since they completely ruined them. I wasted both my time and money. On top of that, I also had a winter coat dry cleaned. The posted price for coats was $25-30, but when they saw it was a branded coat, they suddenly charged me $50. The only downside is the parking situation. Best to go in the morning not later than 11am otherwise u will be dealing w crazy traffic, people double parked, school busses, etc. if u must go in the afternoon I recommend going to one of the side streets. I walked in completely clueless on a whim, tactlessly not making an appointment, and even though it was Juan's lunchbreak he still immediately took the time to see me and work with me. That said... let the man eat. Don't interrupt his break! I still feel bad about it!!! About the tailoring: Juan is just That Dude. He WILL make you look better and point out ways to make the clothes better compliment your body that others don't even know about. The pricing felt extremely fair and not at all like I was being overcharged for the amount and quality of work being done. Not only that, Juan did me a solid by getting the alterations done in-time with a big move out of state. Last minute, off of a random walk-in, and brother still treated me like I was a long time regular.
