Where do I begin... from our first walk through of this venue to the last moment of our wedding night, Venuti's surpassed any and all expectation that we could have ever had! The space, the decor, the service, the drinks and of course the food, were all incredible! Ruby is a saint! She made every moment of planning with her enjoyable, relaxed, exciting and fun! Her professionalism was confident and comfortable to work with. Her knowledge of the wedding industry as a whole, as well as, Venuti's services and amenities helped guide us through the planning process with such ease and grace. She made every silly little request that we had happen for us on our night and we are forever grateful to her! The room had the perfect ambiance with the huge gorgeous windows and the ceiling lights dimmed just right. The food was absolutely amazing! The amount of platters that came out for our cocktail hour made sure our guests all got to try each appetizer (if you don't know what beef Wellington bites are, I suggest you find out!). The soup was the perfect thickness and the salad was divine! Then comes the entrees where our steak/ salmon/ chicken options left us happy and full. Each option was cooked to perfection! Our guests have raved to us about the food, with many planning on coming back for dinner and/or for their own banquet hall events. Frank, the owner, was so personal, warm and kind. He made us feel as though we were part of the Venuti's family! We look forward to many trips back to this spectacular venue. I am so overly grateful for the perfect wedding day at Venuti's. From the moment we stepped in the building to have a tour, we knew we were in! Let's start with the building itself, the attention to detail is amazing, we didn't have to get any extra decor because Venuti's is beautiful to begin with, especially the grand staircase as soon as you walk in-trust me, it's breathtaking. Next, the food was amazing, our guests would not stop telling us that it was the best meal they've ever had at a wedding! There were many options to choose from, from the appetizers all the way to desserts. To put it simply, we love food so this was a huge plus for us! Lastly, the staff were all very kind and celebrated us like they were apart of our guest list. They all knew the exact details, even the small ones, like having our own cocktails and giving us time for one last dance. But the best person on that team is Ciara, she absolutely made our wedding dreams come true, and stopped at nothing to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. The biggest thing she did for us was when it came down to our final details, there was a major miscommunication between us and the previous employee in her (Ciara's) role, something we were not prepared for and we were in a pinch to get it resolved, but Ciara fixed it with no issues, no questions asked, and we are forever grateful for that. She has had to deal with my constant questions, but she always did with a smile and quick response, wedding planning was very stressful for me, but she made it extremely easier, again I am very thankful for that. We will definitely be back at Venuti's, whether it's just for dinner or another huge party! As soon as my friends and I walk in to the bar he is hounding us to buy drinks and telling us how much money we have to spend. We never see him doing the same to others. He is constantly harassing us. He watches us and said if we don't order another drink in 20 minutes we have to leave. He and his sister do not know how to treat customers. There is also an old blonde bartender who is rude as well. I ate there once and I was not impressed with the dish.. These people do not know how to be welcoming to patrons.. My husband and I got married at Venuti's after the peak of COVID in July. Venuti's was an exceptional venue with the most genuine staff, whom we considered family. Our wedding guests and families enjoyed the venue and food just as much as we did. Frank, Karen, and Ciara were with us every step of the way especially when COVID occurred. We did two food tastings and the venue helped us make custom cocktails for our guests to enjoy based off our personalities and preferences. Thank you Venuti's for everything! Surprisingly disappointing- our party of 7 on this last Friday night. Waiter appeared about every 45 minutes during the 3 plus hour dinner. 4 in our party ordered Chilean Sea Bass based on experience years ago. It tasted like it was frozen and heated up - way off for a $49 main entree. Beer seven w no glasses, dessert w no plates, refills of drinks not attended too. What can I say??? This place never disappoints !! I come here all the time specifically for the grilled calamari! I am in love with that sauce!!! Too good!! Then one day one of the owners Alex introduced me to a fried calamari with some spicy sauce!!! OMG! Also so goood!! Today, my waiter was Johnie. Alex introduced him to me and asked if it's ok for a trainee to wait on me. I train ppl at work so I didn't mind. We all had to start somewhere. He greeted me with a smile, introduced himself so politely and very cordial. He asked me for my drink and if I wanted to start with an appetizer. I told him I know exactly what I wanted and he placed the order with the kitchen and that he will come back with bread and pizza. I told him hold the pizza but I would some bread and butter. He came back a few mins later with my drink and my bread. Johnie was very attentive and always smiling. My appetizer came up and a few mins later, johnie asked if everything was ok, I said Perfect!. My food of course is always delicious and to die for! I can't say enough good things about this place. My only comment to johnie at the end was at the beginning of the service, after he says his name, it's always nice for ppl to say how's your day goin. Just a little chatty chat nothing big. Went here tonight for a tasting for our wedding next year and it totally beat our expectations. Everyone was very friendly, but especially the manager Frank. He was running around as they were short handed, doing a great job taking care of EVERY guest that was there. He checked on us multiple times throughout our tasting, and went out of his way to make our experience special. He's passionate about the restaurant and is great at what he does. I left the restaurant embarrassed and humiliated in front of my friends and whoever else there to know what was going on. I detect a sense of humility from you in that the circumstance could have been handled differently. At the same, I spoke to a trusted source about this incident and he agreed with your position about making sure guidelines from the state are followed and that you are under a lot of pressure to provide a place for people to gather and enjoy themselves while at the same time satisfying state guidelines. We held my sister's debutante ball at Venuti's and were absolutely amazed at how much detail they put into catering our event! First off, the place is absolutely beautiful! Outside the room there is a grand staircase and fountain for pictures. They also had a valet and coat check for our guests. When we arrived everything was beautifully arranged and they even matched our theme (The Nutcracker) to the menu! The menu followed our color scheme, had her name, and even had nutcrackers on it! Besides the menu, the food was absolutely delicious! We suggest the salmon, as our guests were raging about it! We also had a guest tell us that the soup (cream of chicken rice soup) was the best soup he had ever had. My aunts were also crazy over the fresh bread as they couldn't stop eating it! Even the dessert (chocolate raspberry mousse) was eaten by all the guests even after their large meal. They cleaned out their dessert within seconds! The service was also just as great as the food! The servers were very attentive and made sure everyone who was running around at the head table ate well! The bartender was highly skilled and made some amazing cocktails! Overall this place is one of the best venues to throw a party. Our guests loved it there and want to come back to have their own party. I went to a wedding here this past Saturday and I had the best time! The first thing you see when you walk in is a beautiful staircase and really pretty fountain right behind the stairs. When we were mingling during cocktail hour, the view outside was nice and the photo booth room was spacious and inviting. The ambience was lovely all around. I usually hate wedding food so I was expecting the same here. I was wrong. The food here was very different and good. We got little hors d'oeuvres of bacon wrapped scallops, mini beef wellingtons, and bruscetta. All were really good. My favorite was the bacon wrapped scallops. Once we were seated inside, a server came and asked us what we would be having for our main course. Salmon, chicken, or ribeye. I picked ribeye. First we got our salad which was 2 thin slices of cucumber holding the salad, which included greens, heart of palm, bell pepper, cherry tomato, and a piece of fresh mozarella. Use the garlic dressing.. it's so flavorful and good! The second course was a penne with marinara that they serve fresh. They serve portions right out of the warming tray in front of everyone instead of having it sit on a plate before being served. It was hot and perfect. There's also a dish of fresh grated parmesan for the pasta. It added a nice touch. The bread they put on every table tasted freshly baked. The outside was crusty and chewy and the inside was pillowy and soft. So amazing with their whipped butter. It was like eating a buttery cloud. The main course was ribeye. I asked for mine medium (only choices were medium and well done) and mine was more well done than medium... but it was still tender and delicious. I liked the potatoes, cauliflower, and broccoli that the ribeye came with. All were flavorful and seasoned well. Dessert was tiramisu. This was also very good. Not too sweet. Not only was the food great, the service was great too. The servers were friendly and helpful. If we needed something, we got it right away. I loved my experience here that I'm hoping to do my wedding or some other event here one day. P.S. Don't forget to tip your bartenders! They're awesome :) read more

We got married at Venuti's in January of 2019 and it was an amazing experience. The venue was beautiful, the food was great and everyone was very easy to work with. We loved Karen. Multiple people have told us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. One of our guests owns her own catering business and she couldn't stop talking about how fabulous the food was! For the second year in a row, we went back for our anniversary. They have the best steaks, I always order the ribeye and my husband the chicken francese because that's what we ate at our wedding. COVID has changed everything but the service was excellent. We asked for a table toward the back and they were able to do that for us. Jose the waiter was wonderful and so friendly. Very fast. You can tell he wants everyone to be happy. Every time we go, we think about our special day. We like to walk by the fountain and take a few pictures by their staircase. On top of the horrible service, there was already 20% gratuity added to our check and there was only 3 of us. Food was good, but nothing special. The selection was small. Very nice lunch buffet with a large selection of carefully-prepared food. I particularly appreciate the large selection of house-prepared salads, which are always fresh and made from high-quality ingredients. This is not your average buffet -- a lot of care and attention is put into the food, and they don't skimp on selection or ingredients. The service is very good, especially now that the wait staff appears to be getting along with each other. I love their soups, especially the cream of portobello soup. Two things to note: Although the electronic sign in front says the lunch buffet is served from 11am-2pm, my experience is that the buffet is never ready until 11:30am or after. Although the part of the buffet where they place the hot foods is very well lit, the part of the buffet where the salads are served is very dark. I'm not sure why this is the case, since the building is otherwise very well appointed. Great for vegetarians too! 4 stars for: good selection of food(pastas, meats, soups, pizzas, salads, desserts, veggies), ambiance (beautiful And classy), great value ($12.95 for buffet), and attentiveness of the server. If there were 10 stars to give, it would be a 10! We got married at Venuti's on March 31st. Had the ceremony and reception all on site. From the start, Frank, the owner, was very accommodating and willing to help where he could. He set us up with one of his banquet managers, Ciarra. Ciarra was nothing short of AMAZING! When you are planning a wedding yourselves, you rely on quick responses to all of your questions and requests, either email or phone call, and Ciarra was quick to reply with answers and suggestions if needed. Paula was our banquet captain for the event and she made everything effortless for us and our guests. The food, wait staff, and bartenders were all outstanding! We love supporting family owned and operated businesses like Venuti's, and this was a plus that everything turned out perfectly! Brought my son here the other night as he loves Italian food. I had the lasagna which I loved. Peach Bellinis were really good. My son had the raviolis and they were "ok". The service, meh. It wasn't great. I had to flag down the server quite a bit. We were never asked how the food was. I want to stop back in and try the lunch buffet sometime. Karen's customer service is beyond my expectations. 1 we are always late and apologetically late, 2 she is so accommodating. I just had my bridal shower on Feb 14, guests were impressed and loved the atomosphere, FOOD, and location. I love the staff, Teresa is so amazing and made my day so special. Came by frequently to ask if everyone was happy and what else she can provide. She helped us with setup. I look forward to the wedding, I can't wait. This was an interesting trip. I had never been here before, and my brother-in-law (not outlaw) was in town, so we got the whole family together. We had 12 people at the table. They started us out with two different breads - one was your standard Italian bread, and the other was a pizza-like bread - both were really good. Then they brought out a special appetizer from the chef, which was a special brochetta which wasn't normally on the menu, and include avocado, portabello mushrooms, and a balsamic extract - ity was darn good. We ordered a lot of Italian stuff for the entrees, and everyone enjoyed their food, which came out at the same time, hot and fresh. The wine prices were pretty good as well, as was the selection. All in all, a good place to visit. Don't be thrown off by the banquet facility - go to the north side - they have a stand-alone restaurant as well. One downside - they had a band playing in the bar - every time the doors opened, you got a band-strobe-effect until the doors closed. Valet parking is available. read more

Visited here again this weekend, this time on a Sunday, with my brother and father. The environment is very different on a Sunday morning/afternoon from their typical Saturday night dinners/bar parties. It was much brighter with the large dining hall windows open and the sun shining in, there was light music in the background (great classical Italian songs), there were children running around the dining area, which might be annoying for those unfamiliar with Italian family dining on a Sunday, but I thought it to be nice; it all made me feel like I was enjoying a comfortable family dinner as I normally would on a Sunday. The main reason there were large groups and children moving around the dining area is because there is a buffet deal offered at Venuti's on Sundays. It's an open breakfast/lunch buffet with all the pork, shrimp, and pasta you could ask for. We refrained from trying the buffet though and decided to order separate dishes. We ordered a dozen baked clams for our antipasto caldo (hot appetizer). The clams are large and very good. The breading is thick and full of flavor, and the juices from the clam seep through the breading when you bite into it. Very good, very fresh. We also devoured the warm bread with oil and cheese, as well as the pieces of focaccia. My father ordered the sausage and rapini which came with 3 reasonably sized sausage that were smothered in long strains of rapini, with a side of potatoes. My brother ordered the gnocchi with vodka sauce. A very safe and typical order, but he insisted it was one of the better gnocchi he's had. I order the farfalle alla panna. It's not a set dinner item, but you can create your own pasta dishes by choosing your noodles and type of sauce, so I went with the farfalle (bowtie) noodles and the "alla panna" sauce which is a cream sauce made with imported cheese, prosciutto, onion, mushroom, and peas, I believe this might also be called "alla toscana" at other restaurants. The sauce had just enough thickness, the mushrooms were very large, and with the prosciutto/peas mixed in it had a great flavor. The portion size was large enough that I had to take the rest home. The service was fair. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and spoke Italian very well which was a pleasant surprise. Again, another solid visit to Venuti's. read more

Our Family went to Venuti's with our Dad for brunch. Had 2 pm reservations. After we got our first plate of food we were asked if we were going to have any more from the omelette or meat stations because they wanted to close them down. We hurried to eat our first plate so we could go to those stations before they closed. No sooner did we come back they asked if we were done with the main course stations for they wanted to close them now. Again we rushed through our food so we can go to the buffet again. This then happens third time when they asked if we are done the the sweets for the wanted to close them down. For a nice relaxing afternoon brunch all we were rushed through our meal. Our Father, who is 90, asked for a container for the food he could not enjoy at the restaurant. He was told by a staff member they couldn't put it in a container but we could once he brought a container to our table. When they gave us the container and we opened it the manager came over and started removing the food from our table and very loudly told us she saw wait we were doing and that we could not take that food. But then turned around and said we can take the bread and deserts. Seeing our Father was very embarrassed we said no. Once we walked our Father to his ride I went back in to tell the Manager our experience. She had not customer service manners at all. Instead she was very confrontational. She was more concerned about the container and us taking our Father's half eaten food then our experience. Not wanting to make a bigger scene than she already started I left. Their management staff needs basic customer service lessons. They need to first listen the the customer before speaking and passing judgment. The food maybe good but the way the staff and Management treats their customers spoils the food and make you loose your appetite. This review is specifically based on a wedding reception that I attended at Venuti's. It seems that Venuti's has two banquet spaces, because there were two weddings on the Saturday in which I was here. The two weddings were very separated, and we were not disturbed by the other wedding reception. The cocktail area was very small for the size of the wedding (approximately 200 people). All of the attendees bottle-necked near the bar (we only had one bartender working the cocktail hour), and the passed hors d'oeuvres did not circulate to everyone during this time. The reception area was a good sized space, and set up with tables surrounding the dance floor. Another bar opened during the reception, so it not was as much of an issue getting drinks. However, the reason for the low review is primarily for the food. It was absolutely horrendous. We were served a salad, pasta, and had a choice of chicken, steak, or vegetarian for our meals. Everything was dry, poorly flavored, and tasted as if it had been microwaved before coming out. I could not eat the meat, because it was so poorly cooked, dry, and stringy. Dinner ended with most of my table still hungry, because very few of us could actually stomach to eat the food. The rest of the reception was sub-par. The DJ was intoxicated (not sure if the DJ is brought in through Venuti's or was an outside hire). It was a fairly typical wedding reception with low-quality food. I hope to not have to return to this venue for another wedding. read more

We went to the V Lounge for drinks & dancing (The Moods were playing) on a Fri. night. Got there about 9 pm, every seat was filled by the 50+ crowd. My wife ordered a Venuti Sunrise, apparently it's not popular because the bartender had to look up the mix, she wasn't wowed by it and switched to a bartender special tailored to her taste. I stuck with rum & cokes all night, which came with too much ice and watered down quickly. All in all the drinks were just OK. Our bartender was attentive and pleasant! The Mood's crowd likes to dance and the floor was lively. The acoustics in the bar aren't meant for music, so be prepared for the echoes. All in all we had fun and would go again. read more
