Cheese breadsticks

I like the regular cheese pizza and cheese breadsticks (dipping sauce is just okay... guess it taste better on the pizza idk). I've reordered these items. I also tried the white pizza, shrimp salad, and shrimp quesadilla. The items were not bad, but just okay... like 3 stars.

I ordered DoorDash from this establishment yesterday order arrived fast and the food was hot. Everything was tasty but I asked for extra cheese on my pizza and even paid extra for extra cheese. They skipped the extra and just had regular cheese on my pizza. The wings were good. I will give them another chance but they better not play with my cheese again!

12” Cheesesteak sub, sliced in half by chef and unaltered. Less than a normal sized pen cap in size, with quarter sized meat/topping inside.

We have ordered from Venus Pizza 8-10 times a year for several years now. They have my favorite cheese pizza and white pizza in the area (New York style with a slightly sweet crust with well blended cheese, and a white pizza that has a great sauce.) Their subs are typically decent, one of my top favorites in the area. Until tonight. For some reason, the third of our three 12" cheesesteak subs became a mysterious all bread, practically topping-and-meat-free disaster. I unwrapped the deli paper, and pulled the sandwich in half at the chef's cut line and kept it held together in the tinfoil it came in. One glance was all it took to question the preparation of the sub. The entire toppings, cheese and meat amounted to a quarter sized wide portion in the center of a giant loaf of bread. This was like a jelly donut where there is only one bite of jelly in the whole breadtopia of flavor, and they want to convince you that it is a jelly donut. My husband spoke to a female staffer who offered a partial credit due to their busy night, but we were a hungry family who paid for delivery so that we could relax so we requested that they make another sub and deliver it. Not a hard request from a food place that churns out subs all night. We offered the current sub back in an effort to be fully honest and not take free food, and to show them the mistake so that a quick preparation during a busy time wouldn't lead to the same error for other customers. She said that it would take a long time to send a replacement, which was expected for a Saturday night. We called back at 11:30 (after an initial call at 9:30), and she said "it is on its way" and hung up. 15 minutes before close, we still hadn't received it. The person who cooked the meal spoke to us at that time. He said he personally cooked it and put "lots of meat" on all of the subs. I've attached photos of the unaltered sub as part of this review. Next to a quarter. Which is placed right up against the meat, so there is no perspective error. Want a video? I have that, too. This thing was just that unreal. It was a bread sub, with a hint of meat. At 12:10, we did get a new sub, but not before being offered an 8" sub as a replacement to the 12" we had paid for. And, that was after an argument with the chef, which made my husband feel bad, me feel hangry, and both of us confused about the quality of the food and the customer service. Usually this place is a 10. A solid 10. We're repeat customers that constantly hit the "reorder" button on Grubhub. But be warned, one day you may get a "lots of meat" sub that ends up a bread tube with a hot dog sized portion of ingredients.

I finally made it out to try Frank's, it was great!…read more Cheesesteak loaded up, with a Coke... the roll seeded, cooper, onions, hots and tons of shredded ribeye- hot and delicious!!! The place was packed at 2:30 on a Wednesday... everything I saw looked great- I'll be back soon for pizza and pasta... this trip the mission was Cheesesteak, and it was amazing. 10 out of 10! Waited over an hour for a plate of drums when I asked for flats...even said I would have settled for 5:5 but ended up with 3:7. I really should have refused the order after inspecting it but I really wasn't trying to wait any longer to eat. Staff are friendly but service sucks and they are way too busy to keep up with their own hype. 7/24/2025 We've been looking for a pizza spot -- this is it. The exterior is a bit unassuming; you'd never guess they had such good eats here just looking at the place, but walk through that door and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Staff here are pretty friendly and welcoming. I can appreciate being greeted as soon as I'm noticed. I just grabbed a pie to go, but there was plenty enough seating and would be inclined to sit down and eat here next time. Pizza is one of my comfort foods, so I'm a little particular when it comes to how it tastes. If you're looking for authentic flavor, you'll find it here. Overall:

I can tell they use good cheese, it makes a big difference. I have tried every other pizza place within several miles as I recently moved into town, just a hop and a skip away from Dominick's. Pizza is up there with my top favorite foods under the sun. I'm pretty picky about pizza. Of course, everyone's palate is unique and a lot of pizza details are a matter of preference! The sauce here was sweet but not too sweet, it was flavorful most importantly and the amount was just right, not too much. I love that it's not light on the cheese. (If you like your pizza less oily, I would avoid ordering meat toppings or just do what I do and blot the pizza gently with a paper towel to remove the excess oil.) I've tried a lot of high end pizza places in this area in the last few months and I'm surprised this place has such a low star score because Giovanna's pizza is pretty good and so is Remo's of NY but I actually really like Dominick's pizza better. I don't even usually prefer the thin floppy type of pizza necessarily. But the crust texture and flavor is just right, the sauce tastes homemade, like I said, good cheese. And it's been consistent which is great. I haven't eaten in at the location, only gotten pizza for take out, but all in all this is the best pizza I've had so far in Baltimore and this will be my new regular pizza spot. :)

It's a good size pizza coming with eight slices. Fantastic cheese pull, and has a squeakiness to the cheese. If you know, you know. They were a little skimpy on the toppings, would've loved a few more pepperonis, especially since I'm paying for it. The dough was phenomenal; fresh, soft, with a nice crisp to it. The crust was so good, that after you finish eating the pizza you could take the end and dip it in some garlic sauce, if only they gave you some. The sauce was perfectly flavored, the tomatoes tasted fresh. I'm not a thin sliced pizza person, this one made me change my tune. This was a well executed pie. The owner told me that it was one of the best, I'll have to give it to him definitely high ranking, and definitely feeds my soul. Curly Fries Freshly fried, golden on the outside. No complaints, good fries. Italian Cold Cut I like the meat tasted fresh, thin, sliced, and the toppings were also fresh. I took off a star because it didn't fit the meat to bread ratio. It was too much bread and not enough meat to match the thickness of the roll. The role tasted fresh was good bread. All in all, it's good to see a mom and pop that has lasted the test of time. The new Management is extremely friendly, very helpful and welcoming. The customer service is top-notch. So yeah, check them out. Especially for the pizza.

Driving down York Road one day I decided let me finally make a pit stop into Baltoz. An open space counter to see some of the magic in the kitchen, no frills to the restaurant, but a warm and inviting atmosphere for hanging out and enjoying a delicious pizza for dinner. All of the baked goods displayed on the counter entice you to indulge in a sweet treat before ordering a pizza. My first visit I just settled on some cookies and a jalapeno cheddar bagel, since I was on my way elsewhere for dinner. But let me tell you how the chocolate chip cookie instantly became one of my favorite bakery cookies. And the bagel was decadent for my morning breakfast, covered in cheddar cheese with those crispy edges that bake at the base of the bagel. On my second visit I settled on their corn pizza since it was a different flavor combination, and it tasted like a slice of summer. Corn, basil, and ricotta, and you can't go wrong. And the staff has always been really pleasant with each visit. I'm a sucker for baked goods and a wood-fire pizza and I can say Baltoz has stolen my heart. I'm looking forward to trying more of their rotational baked items. And I know for certain their pepperoni pizza has to be a showstopper.

Had to eat a couple of slices fresh out the box, before I brought the rest home. Those two slices were "molto buona"!
