Best my eyebrows have looked in a long time! Called was able to get in easily. Inexpensive and great service!

So today I took my daughter and niece out to get their nails done. Grace obviously is light complexion and Ari is darker. As soon as we entered the nail salon the women were obsessed with Grace and telling her how pretty she is, hugging her etc., mind you my beautiful niece is here too and no complements! I witness with my own eyes the way they treated each child differently, from picking out special nail colors for Grace to not helping my niece, to giving Grace the special light to dry her nails to giving my niece a crappy fan until I spoke to that she wanted that too! It's 2019 people! Let's start treating everyone equally! We are all beautiful in our own ways! I'm so sad I experienced this today but thankful I was there to let my niece know she is beautiful no matter what and made sure she felt that today. Obviously as a mother I would love the compliments for my daughter but today it felt and was different, it didn't feel right that my niece was treated differently by the whole experience! Treat them the same! read more

Just popped in to kill some time and get some pampering before an appointment later in the afternoon. Lots of regulars were here, but they got me in, took their time, and did a nice job for the price! Place was clean, TV was on but not blaring loud, and I was able to relax and read a magazine in peace and quiet! read more

They are so friendly and clean! The owner did my nails and did a really nice job, she took her time on me even though i was the last customer of the day, i uploaded a pic (the purple nails). read more

Venus Nails & Spa - She did an awesome job!! Was not skimpy on her polish, didn't leave my nails thick, and really took her time on me!!!! - Nail Salons Near Me - South Elgin, Illinois

I went in to get an acrylic full set. It started off very nice i thought she was doing well but at the same time she was going at an extremely fast pace. The nail tech was constantly stopping to go on her phone, calling her friends, facetiming her friends as well as showing me on camera without permission. She did not do a great job because my nails were uneven, thick, lumpy and it was all to go to a casino with her friends which her friend had to take over my nails because she wanted to leave. Never coming here again. read more

Wonderful place, but when it came time to pay for my pedicure I was charged five dollars more because I'm a man. Never did I see anywhere on the menu board that there was an up charge for men. I just think that's kind of rude. I feel you do more work to the ladies then to the man. For instance I'm not getting any nail polish or any clear coats of nail polish. should definitely not be an up charge bc I'm a male. Also the lady who did my feet did not even talk to me. I definitely will not be going back. My feet are also still rough. read more

Best eyebrow place in town, they have really done some nice improvements to the store. The prices are great and I lived my pedicure!

This may be the worst nail salon I have ever been to. Kim was very unprofessional and didn't listen to anything i wanted. I went in for a full set and walked out with the shortest bubble nails I have ever seen. I left and went to a different salon to have them fixed. I would definitely go somewhere else for your nail! read more

I got a French manicure just the other day and they already chipped and basically all my nails are peeling off, I paid $18 for one days worth of nails. I'm not sure if it was cheap nail polish but it definitely did not last me and these were supposed to be my homecoming nails. read more

I love the job Kim does on my nails I have been coming to her for years. I would highly recommend her shop to anyone. Also does a great job on pedicures. She has a friendly staff that does a great job also. I never have a problem making an appointment when I need it. read more

This place has gone down the drain! ever since new management took over. Sonny who was the previous owner always did an amazing job on my nails no longer works here. The current owner Kim doesn't know what she is doing. She can't even do pink and white. Her equipment is unsanitary. I would be afraid of catching a fungal infection. She talks too much and is too personal. I wouldn't be too surprise if this place goes out of business soon enough. read more

Within five hours of receiving a no chip manicure all nails popped off. Nails came off as whole pieces. To make the matters worse the management handled the situation terribly. After leaving three messages and taking two trips to the store the manager told me I should have come in and showed the nails. I reminded her of the messages with no return calls & the trips to the store I took (during the open hours posted) to learn they were closed. She still responded with I should have come in. (Exasperating) The manager would not stand by her product and refund her faulty product. She offered me a free manicure in which I reminded her- I already paid for it, you're offering me nothing for free. read more

Went to Venus with my girls to get our nails done for the wedding. They were very accommodating and did a FANTASTIC job! Highly recommend going here especially to get wedding ready!! read more

I was wondering what happened to Sonny, everytime I went in or called it was always "she's on vacation" I LOVED the way she waxed my eyebrows. I never had my nails done there because that place does not look too clean.. read more

I never post reviews, let alone negative ones but today I had one of the worst nail experiences. Both lady's- one older and the other younger, blatantly said they didn't want to be there and put zero effort into their job. The older lady started my pedicure and talked to another customer the whole time, not paying attention to what she was doing. She didn't use a nail file after she barely cut them down, splashed nail polish all over my leg more than once and forgot to massage one of my legs. The water had flakes/particles floating in it.. they had poor quality nail polish and utensils, which she failed to rinse off at all. It was so unsanitary and unenjoyable. The younger one started my manicure and basically scratched my previous no chip off and was going to paint them without any buffing or maintenance. She slopped on a dried out base coat and that was when I decided to leave. I didn't even want her to finish my manicure and they both didn't care. I had a gift certificate from Christmas (which is the reason I was there in the first place) that covered the bill and I left a $10 tip. Being the only customer, aside one other person, left me shocked at the service and laziness of both women. Surprised they're still open. I never go to Elgin to begin with, this will just be another reason. read more

Horrible horrible place and I will NEVER go back. waited 2 1/2 hours when i was told 30 minutes and the lady rushed it. my "no chip acrylics" chipped hours after i got home and when she was painting my nails she got it ALL over and around my fingers. the lady also messed up one of my nails and when i went and showed her she said she wouldn't do anything about it so i had to paint it myself. also she literally put 5 coats of polish on ONE finger ... my 6 year old cousin could be better. nice ladies who don't know how to paint nails with terrible service. read more

First time, here, but definitely won't by my last. Awesome service, beautiful place. Total gem!!

Excellent. This is the only place I will go to get my nails done. Kim is awesome and does a beautiful job every time.
