Well this is my place! I recently moved back into the area and have tried some of the other salons close by but K Nails will be my go to going forward. It's not as fancy as some of the other places but I definitely had a better, non rushed experience for a mani, pedi here. The couple that owns and works here are super sweet and diligent. They took extra measures to make sure all is clean, sanitized, safe. I did just walk-in but they have a lot of scheduled customers. I noticed the customers in there were mostly repeat customer that have a friendship with the owners. They are open both NYE and NYD. They are open most days except Sundays in the winter months. I just had a wonderful experience discovering K Nails after a quick haircut at the place next door. I never knew there was a nail place there before as I always frequent a place a couple blocks from home. I tried a walk-in right after my haircut but they were too busy. Fabio, Sylvester, or whatever the guy's real name was (I think he's the owner. He's funny and quite social!) took my name and number and set me up for an appointment a little over an hour out which was fine because I live close to there too. Returned there for my appt and they were very welcoming and everyone working was very friendly and welcoming. They had me pick out my color right away. I wanted a chrome finish which unfortunately they didn't have. But as soon as I asked if they had the powder to do it, Tweety, the awesome nail artist I had, said that she will order it today and will have that option as well as ombré next time! Yes people...customer service is NOT DEAD! You just have to seek it out apparently and you will definitely find it here. Tweety was very friendly and sociable with me. As soon as she saw the polish I chose for my no-chip manicure wasn't very pigmented, she knew to grab an undercoat that made it pop. When she was finished, I was so happy with my vibrant blue glitter polish that I wanted a guitar and drum kit to match (I'm a musician yo!) They also do nail art there. They have all sorts of cool designs including some really good Halloween themed ones. My daughter will be coming here to get Halloween nails October 1st. Cannot wait! If you enjoy a great experience with nails and at a great price, I definitely recommend K Nails. All the employees are amazing and friendly and welcoming. Treat them well please. One woman who I think frequents this place was exceptionally rude to one lady there and really shook her up. And I saw her nails. They looked amazing. They did a wonderful job on my nails. My no chip manicures usually only last a week or so but theirs lasted over two weeks because they did a layer in my finger tips, which I strongly believe why my nails are still in great condition! I'll be going back here again. read more

I went here on a whim. It's the best nail salon that I've been to in a long time (I only get my nails done here and there). I got a gel manicure. They have many color choices available. I didn't catch the name of the woman doing my nails, but she did a fantastic job. She spent so much time on them and seemed very detail-oriented. I also appreciate that she probably noticed I'm not a big talker, so she just let me relax and talked to me when necessary. 3 weeks later and my gel nails aren't even chipped; they look perfect besides being grown out. I have finally found my salon!! Jackie and Christina are seriously the BEST. I had never been there before and had made an appointment through Yelp a few days prior, as soon as i walked in the door Jackie called me by name and talking to her during the appointment was like talking to someone that you've known forever. My nails look absolutely amazing, and im already getting compliments on them. Christina did my pedi, i told her that i was going on vacation in a few weeks and i wanted my toes to look cute and to do whatever she wanted to do with the color. She took her time to make sure that not only do my toes look totally cute the pedicure in itself was awesome! I love that you can take home the kit that they use. Not to even mention they guarantee their no chip....who does that??!? Today my friend and I decided to try this new nail salon and we were not dissapointed! This place is clean and smells so nice when you walk in. The staff here is so friendly I couldn't believe it! I got my no chip done by Michael and he was one of the funniest people I have ever met. I laughed the whole time and he did an amazing job on my no chip!!! My friend got her nails done by the owner and she said she was so sweet and her acrylics looked awesome! I am going to tell everyone about this place! I've been to K Nails twice. At my first visit, I received a no-chip mani from Gina and it was wonderful! Unfortunately, my second experience was not so great. I made an appointment in advance, and was running 5 minutes late. I called K Nails to inform them I would be a mere 5 minutes late (their policy states they wait 10 minutes before starting on a new client), and they told me I would need to rebook my appointment to 2 hours later than scheduled. I was astonished that they couldn't wait, and I don't plan to revisit this salon after my experience. read more

I have dry skin and do not take care of my overworked feet as well as I should. For the last few months, I have treated myself to a no chip deluxe pedicure at K Nails. Everyone there is friendly, and they have cold drinks for customers in the fridge. The shop looks clean and organized. Ryan has worked on my feet the last few times and he is great. He is friendly, funny, gives great foot and leg massages and is very meticulous. My no chip pedicures last for weeks and then I go back in when my nails start to grow out.
