My sister and I just went there for a pedicure and the woman that did my pedicure was talking horrible things and making fun of us the entire time. I put on voice translator and it was true. Blown away by her comments and all the giggles. It's amazing to know that a paying customer is being made fun of and talked trash about right to your face in the United States. Staff is always very kind here. Usually only get pedicures and today was my first time getting acrylics here. I came with a photo inspo request and Anna was very detailed in providing what I requested. Nails look beautiful. I didn't give 5 stars because there was no cuticle or nail care prior to putting on the acrylics so I'm worried how these will hold up but overall the design detail request was delivered. read more

Everyone here is very friendly, however I wouldn't come here for GelX, as I have higher expectations. The salon only offers natural tips (no sculpted), and the technician only adhered the tip to my natural nail and began painting. There was no attempt to blend the gelX tip with my cuticles. As such, after a couple days my nails were still lifting at the cuticle and look like full tip glue on extensions. read more

Super disappointed in my nails. I had an older woman start my nails and she rushed the whole process. I wish I could have taken pictures of her application process. I asked for another layer of dip and she ignored me. Then Mina came in to finish my nails she saw me looking at my nails and asked if everything was ok? And I mentioned I wanted another layer because there were spots that you could basically see through. That fixed it. But, now I'm home actually looking at my nails and the application process is just horrible. In my opinion, this is just not what I'm use to. And now definitely don't think these are worth $67. Im super sad. I called and asked how much for medium fill and they said $55 when I got done they charged me $122 personally I would have never went there if they said that up front. For the job they did isn't worth more than $50. My usual nail salon does 10x better and I can get a full pedicure and tip included in that price. I really loved the guy who did my nails but for only 2 years of experience and almost 3 hours of doing my nails I would never go back . Loved my manicure and pedi I paid 10 more for the paraffin that make your hands and feet smoother. plus the prize was just right since this place is very nice and clean. They even use protectors for the baths so no contamination or germs that's neat. I wanted to give them five stars but the lady that made my set forgot about me I was there for a while I had to raise my hand to see if my nails were drive so the customers summoned someone tI get me out of sitting for over an hour under the fan to dry my hands and feet. At the end I end up messing up my fresh manicure because it was not completely dry AGH paid all that money for it to look like I had done it My self!!!!! So that is why I have them 4 stars not 5. If I could rate this place 10 stars I would. Lily is so so amazing. My mom and I have been coming here for the last 5 years together and have always had an amazing experience. I went about 5 days ago and got my nails done with my friend. They were absolutely beautiful and Lily hand painted the cutest french manicure design. Unfortunately (due to a new product) almost all of them fell off after 5 days so I went back in and Lily fixed them for me for free! (Don't worry i tipped because she's awesome!) Update: I've been getting the dip powder manicure for several months now, and my nails have never been healthier. And Royal provides excellent service. I had an excellent manicure today in a very clean and friendly setting in downtown Geneva. I got a dip powder manicure which is faster than my usual gel mani, and it doesn't require a UV light. It's better for your nails, too. My nails look great. You can book appointments online which I love because my schedule changes so much. They have 100 dip powders to choose from so I'll have plenty of options. I highly recommend Royal Nail Spa! read more

I've gone to Royal Nails various times, every time I go I do not have generally pleasant experiences. This one takes the cake. Went in for a pink and white full-set. During nail prep a USED but file was used to take shine off the nail, then after tips are on I was told this person actually didn't know how to do pink and white and asked me what later time I could come that afternoon. (Mind you I only had tips on) Then, the owner was upset about me starting the white and rushes over to do my nails very distastefully. Not once did she say hello but started ranting on a negative tone in her language and went on literally yelling in front of me for over five minutes. As application and shaping goes on I realize *all the nails have a different shape*, which I bring to her attention. She used an extremely used file, (formerly grey now turned white by someone else's acrylic) to try and shape them. She then buffs my nails so hard that I wince in pain. This was the part that made me write this, she had no concern nor empathy by the force she was using because she was upset at me... by no fault of my own. No customer should receive this type of treatment. This is how a $55 pink and white turned out. 08/05 upon soak off I discovered the monomer they used is MMA, NOT EMA, as it's supposed to be! I wish I could upload the video of how sticky, and impossible to remove the acrylic was. Be careful ladies! read more
