Had a wonderful first visit here and already can't wait to return! Ann provided exceptional, friendly service. Making sure I was comfortable, providing me with a bottle of water, and making sure I was happy with everything. I chose a hot stone pedicure and a regular manicure. The massage was extensive and awesome, which can be hard to find! The interior was nice and new, clean, and all the chairs (both pedicure and manicure chairs) were in great condition. Two things that could be improved: 1-I wish there had been a larger selection of OPI and Essie polishes; 2-typically at other salons when you get a mani/pedi together, they knock $5 off the price of the services together. As a first time customer my experience was so Terrible that I will never go back. My technician was messy leaving so much colored powder on my hands that after washing my hands 5 times at the bowl, I had to wash twice at home to remove all residue. I didn't notice the amount of product that was left underneath my nails until I left the salon. I noticed this because I ran my hand through my hair and hair strands were catching and being pulled out when touching my hair. Additionally, 20 minutes or so before completing my service, the lady yelled "can you pay me now" so loud that patrons turned to see what was happening. I was stunned by her rudeness and hesitated a few seconds to reply, thinking how best to respond, so she leaned in and screamed "can you pay me now" once again. Even louder. The worst nail salon. I asked for polish change and a regular pedicure, polish change was nice. I mean how can you mess up a polish change? As for the pedicure.... disgusting. She cut like half of my toenail. I like short but not TOO short like she did my toenail. She was so rough and was messy when applying the polish. The utensils... they are NOT clean. She took the utensils she used on me washed in the bathroom, put them in the UV ray thing and 5 minutes later took it out and used it on someone getting a manicure. Well I usually don't like to review if it's negative and I delay to think about it. But I'm disappointed in my medi-pedi. The price was okay but my nails both toes and hands turned out very poor. I have sharpness on both, the medi wasn't done right, example polish on the tips weren't done, causing the polish to start coming off less than a week. My cuticles were really done poorly. My toenails when I got home same day had to be buffed down because they were like knifes. My regret was a gave a 20$ tip on a 57$ service because my kids are in the service industry and I know tips are important. read more

Recently moved to the area and saw the reviews for Best Nails here on Yelp. Arrived at 6:30 and walked right in for a pedicure. The front area is for Manis and the back area is separated and for pedis. The color selection was great. Usually at my old salon I stood there looking for a color for ages. This was so easy with so many choices. Sat right down in one of the 8 or 10 pedi chair stations. Soft spa music was very relaxing. The girl doing my nails was named Moon and she was kind and thorough. She got a lot of the rough stuff off that my old place didn't put much effort into. There were several pedi options to choose from. I just got the basic for $25. Well worth it. Also noteworthy were the cute pedi chairs for little girls in half size with hello kitty motif. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! I have been a patron of best nails since the shop opened and I have even referred friends to the establishment. NEVER AGAIN after my experience today. The shop has been on a steady decline since the owners brought in more staff and have failed to train them on proper customer service. I booked an appointment, and I got the newest person on staff. They did not know what a no chip pedicure was. Luckily one of the other techs joined our conversation to clarify. Then I selected my polish telling him I wanted the same color on my hands. After he finished my feet he told me the polish was no good and that I should select a different color for my hands. I told him I did not want another color just give me a manicure with clear polish. HE THEN PROCEEDED TO ARGUE WITH ME. I asked him to please stop and give me what I asked for. The other people could tell I was upset. I have come here to the spa to relax and I have to argue with a nail tech. WTF. Never going there again. So I had an upsetting experience at best nails this past week. I have been getting my nails done for 12+ years at different places and I asked to have a gel manicure done. I had called and went in, picked my color, then sat down to get my nails done.. the man proceeded to tell me he CANNOT do gel on my nails because they are "too short"... I thought it was a joke at first because no one has EVER said that and I also don't have short nails whatsoever. He basically implied that if I don't get acrylic that my nails won't look "good" and won't last "long". He forced me to do acrylics or else he wouldn't do them and I desperately needed them done so I just let him do what he needed to do. As soon as I walked in I got hit in the face with the smell of acetone- it was so bad that I almost left. I've never smelled anything so strong and of course, there was no ventilation. The results of the manicure were fine but everything seemed cheap. The plastic sandwich bags they put your hands in was ridiculous. I had the best experience at this salon yesterday! I came in for a pedicure and a full set of pink and white nails. Nancy did a thorough job on my feet and toenails. The warm lotion massage was wonderful! They soaked my old gels off instead of just prying them off which is what I'd experiences before! I had an appt at another place and was going to run late. Have recently moved to the Aurora area and needed to find a new nail salon closer to home. Decided to try Best Nails and we were very pleased. Both my husband and I came in for pedicures. He had a wonderful woman that took great care on his nasty feet. I had another woman who did a tremendous job on my ingrown toenails. We both left very happy indeed. We will absolutely be back! The salon is clean, well organized, they have a ton of colors to choose from, and they can execute any special design that you might be interested in. I was referred here by a friend who got a no chip manicure the week before. I tried it got a fill and a no chip manicure. I only got one coat of paint and was the last appointment so therefore was rushed and didn't receive any lotion or hand massage. Two days later my nails are chipping. I called and spoke with the husband and he told me they would refund me to come in so I did and then she told me no we only can give you 10.00 and called her husband who then told me once there that he said only refund you half and that I don't get a massage with fake nails only with real nails. I came to Best Nails today because my go to nail salon is not in the area and I was in desperate need of a manicure. After doing some yelping I decided to give this place a chance. Let me start off by saying I'm VERY particular about my nails. To some people they might look okay, but I think the paint job is horrible. I will never understand a nail tech that is bad at painting nails. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name. She was very friendly and engaged in conversation, which I find is rare at nail salons (she earned an extra star for her friendliness) She did take her time and I was satisfied up until she started painting. The application is bumpy, uneven, sloppy and does not look professional at all. I don't have the heart to tell people I'm unhappy with their work so I just bit my tongue and took it as a loss. $30 is $30 and I'm pretty bummed I have to look down at these for another few weeks. I can't decide if I want to give a 2 or 3 star review. I left the place pretty unhappy but besides the shitty polish, everything else was okay.
