What a great place! I will be coming back and recommending. Colbie was kind, efficient, and relatable. I got my bikini waxed while my 15 month old was in the room. We're new here and I'm a stay at home mom. Colbie wasn't phased by my toddler's occasional fussing or my, almost, incessant rambling. I found this gem through Yelp. Moved here recently and need to get some upkeep done. So as I searched reviews, this one had great reviews and was also very reasonably priced. It is located within a building with a hair salon among other services, but it is a separate business. It is essentially a small room with a table and couch. Colbie was knowledgable and made me feel comfortable. She was quick and did a great job. I will definitely be going back. Colbie, the owner is very nice but also very professional. Her suite is very clean, yet comfortable. Your GPS may try to bring you via a road that doesn't actually exist. But it is actually very easy to find. It is in in the building in the front of the parking lot of the Geneva Ace Hardware on State Street. There are several suites in the building. Recently moved near by after living in Chicago for years and had been doing my eyebrows myself and needed help getting them even again. Colbie is great! She has online scheduling which is SO nice and she did a great job. I told her I wanted to even out my eyebrows and wanted them a little thicker and she did what she could at the first visit and left areas that needed to grow in. Colbie is amazing. I was super nervous for my first leg and Brazilian wax but Colbie made the awkward experience not so awkward. Of course there is pain the first time and you wonder how you can put yourself through something like that again but I absolutely love the results. I have such thick corse dark hair and the grow back was nothing compared to how my hair is when I shaved, plus after the first time it is way less painful. I am hooked on getting Brazilian waxes. About two weeks ago I went to Colbie for the first time and was seriously so impressed! I had a Brazilian wax, which I normally have done at another place but no longer liked that place and wanted to try something new. Colbie's studio is cute and obviously very clean. My first visit to Shed was also my first brazilian wax and it was an AMAZING experience. I have looked into most of the waxing salons in the area and Shed has the best reviews and the best prices. They are super easy to find (Mobbela salon Suites in historical downtown Geneva) and have easy access to parking. I booked my appointment online (which was SO EASY!!!) and with how nervous I was, I noted that it would be my first wax ever. I was emailed back quickly and was told that I would have a great experience at Shed and would be walked through the process step by step. I grew my hair out three weeks without shaving. It's been a week and a half since my appointment and I still have not seen a single hair from regrowth!!! The salon is beautifully decorated and so clean. My brazilian and eyebrow combo was only $68! The wax was fast and virtually painless and my eyebrows turned out better than I have ever seen them look. Colbie was quick and very thorough on the brazilian area and was very knowledgeable in how to care for my skin after waxing. She shaped my eyebrows and walked me through how to fill them in so they looked completely natural. She doesn't double dip with her wax (which is very important!) and was a lot of fun to work with and talk to. I would recommend everyone considering Shed for their next (or FIRST) wax to go.
