This was my first and last time going to the salon, I will also preface I'm a perfectionist and my standards are extremely high. I get my nails done about every 2 weeks and I just recently went to this salon for the first time asked for a deep french and they were quite awful, uneven lines sloppy work, he also cut my natural nails shorter than i asked for that i've worked so hard to grow out. I cried the min I walked out of this salon and I will not be returning here ever again. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you are looking to get a basic solid color and that's it. I ripped my nails off the next day because I couldn't stand looking at my hands.... read more

My experience with this salon was quite disappointing on multiple fronts. The men's manicure I received felt rushed, lasting only 10 minutes when it should have taken at least half an hour. To add to the dissatisfaction, the technician used a drillbit to file my cuticles, resulting in noticeable scratches on my nail bed. Moreover, the overall hygiene was questionable - the technician was not observed washing her hands, and I was not asked to wash mine either. This lack of attention to hygiene, combined with the rushed service and subpar results, leaves me unable to recommend this salon for anyone seeking a quality and sanitary manicure experience. I must acknowledge that the owner/manager, 'K,' demonstrated genuine concern and was apologetic about the subpar service I received. In an effort to make amends, 'K' took steps to correct the situation and even went above and beyond by completely comping my entire manicure. While I appreciate the owner's responsiveness, I must caution that this place might be better suited for women's manicures. If you're a guy seeking a basic manicure... go elsewhere!!! read more

Really enjoyed my experience here at Versailles Nail Spa. I saw some mixed reviews so I made sure to call ahead of time and make an appointment. Since I was going over my lunch break I wanted to make sure I could get in and out on time. And sure enough it was not busy and was able to be seated right away. Loved the finished look read more

I've been on the hunt for a new nail spot in the tri-cities and continue to be disappointed. I came here with a friend before a wedding. We made an appointment and no one greeted us when we arrived. They had a great color selection but were out of all of the colors I kept choosing. The pedicure was okay but not very in depth. The polish was NOT good quality. It chipped after 4 days. I got a dip on my hands and it ended up bubbly, splotchy and began cracking after a few days. The ladies were nice, but I would not return. read more

Pros: we were able to get in for two pedicures very quickly. My fiancé was happy with his pedicure. Quiet, relaxing environment. Cons: they don't use the bags for their pedicure stations so I'm not sure how clean their pedicure stations get. I didn't see any of the techs clean out an old station from the previous girl next to me (but nobody new was stationed there before we left - so they may clean them very well - I just can't be sure.) The nail tech also didn't take all of the nail polish off (regular polish, not gel) before painting the new polish. The nails also weren't cut equally from one foot to the next. I've had way worse, but I've also had better. read more

I decided to give this place a try but was terribly disappointed. Even if I have a wait at my usual place, I'll wait. My nails were all crooked, thick and she cut my acrylic nails with a nail clipper. Horrible. I'd never go back. read more

Came here with high expectations due to all the good reviews, very disappointing it and my service pedicures were all right. I got a full set of acrylic and I am not please on my results. Three fingers are crooked and uneven ( never had that issue before !) I had to fix the nails when I got home I paid $95 I expected a lot better. They have have a sign " cash tips are greatly appreciated." After I finish paying and even before I could put my card and my wallet she forcefully tells me to tip her and I go "excuse me?" and she points at the sign and says "tip." Didn't really appreciate that because I was already going to tip her found it very unprofessional. Will not come back. read more

Versailles Nail Spa - Middle finger has not been filed right also ring finger uneven. - Nail Salons Near Me - St. Charles, Illinois

I am re-born. I lived a thousand lives today, at the hands of skilled technician at Versailles Nail and Spa in Geneva Illinois. (The one next to the HobbyTown with the RC Car races in the parking lot) My brothers took me to get a pedicure on a Saturday afternoon. A naive pedicure virgin, my eyes filled with fear as she unsheathed her strange shiny weapons and aimed them at my feet. Deftly carving, she violently trimmed the unkempt hedges that were my toenails. A babe in the toenail wood, I profusely perspired as she drew a large steel device with holes from her bag and began grating my Parmesan nubs. The sensation was somewhere between terrified, distressed, tickled, and oddly satisfied. As my central nervous system began to trigger my flight response and i contemplated sprinting barefoot out of the spa, she lowered her weapons, rinsed my now-Mozzerella extremities, and began the massage portion. The sounds of a thousand angels' trumpets blared, as I metaphorically rode down a water slide of ecstasy, splashing into a warm pool of comfort and joy. I sat in awe as the technician squeezed and caressed my leg and foot muscles, relieving my tires of years of wear and tear. Then, she hooked my big toe with her thumb, and swung my ankle around, in a move I will now refer to as "the whirlybird." My life flashed before my eyes, I saw The Big Bang and the creation of the universe. And I saw that it was good. A quick rinse, and then a hot towel took my little piggies to Market and then promptly wee wee weeeed them all the way home. 5 stars. read more

I'm pretty new to no chip or any sort of extensions..I have tried around but the worst is the removal. I had my no chip done out of state. I came here for removal and clean manicure. Found my go-to nail salon. They're very accommodating. My original appointment was in the afternoon but had to move it early in the morning. Miss Shirley did my no-chip mani and regular pedi. She's amazing. I get painful in-grown nail on my toes and she could pull it! She has steady hands and does it like a pro. I suggest coming here on a weekday. It's quiet and you can relax. read more

I went here the first day they opened back up, very much looking forward to a mani/pedi after a few months! The lady I had was not friendly at all and cut my cuticles and skin so much that it hurt to wash my hands for days afterwards. She also did not wear a mask or gloves. There wasn't many (if any) safety precautions being taken. The manicure had three coats of polish and I could still see my nail underneath. I went back after about a week and the owner offered to redo it for me free of charge before they even opened. She is so nice and I appreciated it very much! It looked so perfect when I left, but the picture below is less than two weeks after getting them done. I've never had a gel manicure chip so soon. I will not be back to pay $75 for something that lasts less than a couple of weeks. read more

If you're looking for a quick pedicure then this is your place!! Pedicure took about 15-20 mins from start to finish.

Three of us came to Versailles Nail Spa to get pedicures and dip nail manicures. My sister got the Honey Princess Pedicure, which she thoroughly enjoyed! Her legs were so soft and it was a nice, extra fun treat. Our standard pedicures were also very much well done. Our dip nail manicures were well executed, no pain, and so beautiful. Very relaxing environment and the ladies were also kind and lovely to talk to. The salon is clean and there are so many color options, I can't wait to go back for my next special event. Highly recommend coming here! read more

I love it here I've had 4 or 5 different people service me there in about a year and I might have some favorites technician style wise but overall I've never gotten a bad set from here. The space always feels clean and they've always took me in as a walk in. I like trying new places but Versailles is my go to! read more

I've tried this place several times, but it seems almost every single time they took off existing gel polish they would manage to scrape the skin of my fingers and leave them burning for days afterward. At one point one of my fingers started bleeding and the only thing the tech said was "oh, sorry. You have a boo-boo." They also make you wait even when you book an appointment. There were many times I had to wait 20+ minutes after my scheduled appointment time and no one even apologized for the wait. Don't try to squeeze in a manicure at this place if you're on a lunch break from work. The owner is sweet and does a great job when she's the one doing the mani-pedi, but I haven't had good luck with the staff. read more

Decent nail spa. Easy to make an appointment. I arrived early, and only had to wait a short while. The basic pedicure was great! They have more deluxe pedicure options, but the basic covered everything I look for in a pedicure. The dip manicure was okay. They did their best to match the colors, but they aren't as close as I would have liked. On my drive home, I realized there was a smudge on one of my nails, and unfortunately I didn't have the time to return to have them fix it. They were also a bit messy and I had to file off some excess color around my nails, in addition to a little cut I noticed after I got home as well. Fair prices, and I will likely give them another chance as the pedicure was more than worth it! read more

I had been curious about trying this spa out for a while and finally made my way in. I just did the pedicure service as a walk in. I was lucky and got in right away. The place seemed pretty busy but they appear to keep a lot of staff on to keep things moving along. Technician was friendly and they had HGTV on so it was nice to watch one of the home fixer upper shows while my pedi was done. Good variety of colors to pick from and friendly staff. read more

The most pleasant place in the area. Great services, friendly stuff, clean and spacious room.

Pedicure was very rushed. She used her fingers to clean the nail polish off my toes. Didn't work, didn't realize it until after. And asked them to fix it. Thankfully they tried their best. The dip was okay, a little bulky, had to keep asking her to fix the shape, since the tops of my nails were all slanted towards one side. And they cracked in half the next day! read more

They always do a fantastic job! The place is always very clean. I recommend getting the volcano pedicure!!

I've been coming here for pedicures for 3+ years and my 5 star review from then still stands. Staff is always welcoming and the manager has the most amazing memory and will ask about my granddaughter who I brought in last year. I get the more expensive treatment and feel so relaxed afterwards. My no chip looks great for a long time and I look forward to showing it off on my beach next week! read more

Versailles nails is the best nail spa in the Western suburbs. The space is very clean, organized, bright, spacious and comfortable. The staff is kind, warm, detailed oriented, great at their jobs and helpful. They do the best work! I think of myself as a challenging client because I always want designs and art. They can DO IT ALL! Kay, the owner, is now a life long friend of mine. She runs the business very professionally. She is always on time for appointments and is a ray of sunshine! read more

My teenage daughters and I walked in with no appointment, we found some time to go. The staff was super friendly and took care of us immediately. First I was to say that the place is beautiful and super clean. They did an amazing job on all three of our manicures. I needed a fill and French tips. They turned out beautiful! The staff was very nice and worked so quickly. We even decided to have our brows done while we were there as well. Everyone looked great when we were finished. I rarely have/make time to get my nails done. My husbands out of town a lot and we have two little kids, we both work, and so one day I figured I would just bring our girls along so I could finally get a much needed pedicure. We are a hardworking family and are always outside, and the lady (Kathy) who did my pedicure was so harsh with me about my feet that I couldn't help but cry. I had no problem increasing my pedicure to the next level up because I understood that my feet would be more work, but shaming me because of the condition of my feet is not ok. At one point she filed so hard that I flinched, said ouch, and she kept going roughly and said it was my fault because I had cracks on my heels. The professional thing would've been to apologize and allow me to soak my feet longer. This is when I started to cry. She told me to put my sunglasses over my eyes, my guess was so that no one else would notice how upset she made me. After all, I don't get a pedicure when my feet are perfectly polished, you get a pedicure when your feet need it. Needless to say, it was not the experience I was hoping for having brought my daughters with me for our first nail date together. I will never go back to this salon and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The service was just cruel. read more

Excellent nail salon. I had the honey pedicure and Sally did an amazing job. Reasonable priced and customer service is great! You can do your appointment online read more

Such a clean spa and they were very sweet. The prices are on par with the average nail spas. The only thing was that they don't have bottles for you to pick out colors. They use nail boards so you see the colors on fake nails. The reason I didn't like that was because in the end I got a different color from what I picked. They put on a frost and I never pick frosts and without having the bottle next to me, there wasn't a way to show that. I was pressed for time but I didn't say anything because I would have had to wait for the basket of nails again and had then had to go through all of them to find it or pick another color. I would much rather have my color in the bottle next to me the whole time. I'm sure they would have been kind about it but that was my only negative. read more

Was very average, I got a no chip manicure and pedicure here and my toes turned out fine. My nails on the other hand, I communicated what shape and length I wanted and they cut and filed them so short (to my skin) and then also made them square instead of rounded. Within 7 days, 2 nails chipped in the corner of them (no chip usually lasts me 3 weeks with no issues.) I don't get my nails done often so was very disappointed I paid to get these done and they chipped so quickly. Will not be going back. read more

Absolute best place to get the "dip" manicure. I tried a lot of other salons in Geneva/surrounding areas that left me so unhappy. Versailles does a nearly perfect job. I have had no complaints! They also have a kids area. My three little girls love going! read more

Friendly service and the shellac nails have lasted so far a week and a half. They didn't have a great selection of colors and the music played was loud and obnoxious. The child area is nice for kids if you need it. Probably won't be back unless I really need to. read more

The staff were nice but too chatty - my experience was not relaxing...The services were just okay and some of the techs seemed inexperienced. The manicure did not turn out even close to how it was presented on the wheel and was made to feel like it was my fault for picking a "challenging" color. On the positive side, the atmosphere is great; everything is clean and new. The pedicure chairs are great and the manicure stations are very nice. read more
