Out of three decades of pedicures, this is the worst one. The technician was unprepared, got up 7-8 times to look for things in the space. Did not cut my nails when I specifically asked, filed lightly but not short, as I asked for, did almost no cuticle care, zero dry skin removal, and at the end charged an extra $5 to remove the old no-chip - which no one mentioned in advanced tho I booked the appointment stating that need. I will go to a salon with trained techs, and up front business practices. Very poor service, and still need my feet done. read more

NEVER again. Completely Unprofessional- female nail tech decided to take a walk-in during my service ( I had an appointment). She decided to add three THICK coats- rushed through my manicure. Let me dry for 20 minutes under the lights. Proceeded to tell me I was fine to go- nails dry. Pics show otherwise. By the time I got to my car my nails were rippling due to the thickness of nail polish coat she put on my nails to finish quickly and attend walk-in. I went back in- wouldn't look my way and dismissed me with a "call this week to come back in". I called and she was not "available". Never again. read more

I went in for a pedicure and full set with no chip for an event later that evening. I was at the salon for 2.5 hours and by the time I made it home my nails had dried and had no shine and looked like they were not done. I went back in the following night to have them sand the nails and put the no chip on the nails that I was told didnt need to go on the nail and the dip always looks not shiny. Today is a week later and all the nails but my thumbs have come off. I normally wear them for 3 weeks and maybe have 1 come off. Wanted to give 3-1/2 stars but can't figure out how... treated my granddaughter to her first ever mani/pedi and turned out a great experience. She got the owner (I believe?) and he engaged her in conversation and it relaxed her right away (she was Leary of warm water and tools being used.). Once engaged she never stopped talking...but he ate it up! She got a standard pedi for $25.00...all that was necessary for a 10 year old. I had a gift certificate since Christmas and FINALLY had long enough nails to deserve a manicure! The ironic thing was I had BROKE my thumbnail way down in the nail bed, but it was hanging on with bad cracks on both sides. I bandaged it for 4/5 days until I could get in for manicure! Thought they might laugh, but they repaired it like a fake nail and it's nice and strong! So glad I saved it and didn't chop it off when it happened.... I went with the "no-chip" manicure to try it out. We'll see! Didn't have a purple in the no chip so I went with mauve/reddish/burgundy..... Looks different in diff light, but def not purple...(so my toes don't match...) ok for 4th of July I guess! . My tech appreciated that I told her I had diabetes, and knew not to clip my cuticles on my toes. Was a little disappointed in the upgraded pedi tho. She didn't pay much attention to the hard calluses on my little toes (as my GD asked me later what they were, because I hadn't noticed!). Didn't get a break down of what the manicures cost. Would like to know the difference in the regular one and my "no chip". Our combined bill was $115.00 then add a 20% tip $23.00 for a total of $138.00. .(What happened to "$29.00-$39.00 mani-pedi specials? " ) who has that kind of money on a regular basis. Only reason for the 2 stars instead of one is because the people that work there are really nice. I was charged 55$ for a powder dip. Which would have been fine except my nails look like i play dough on them. They are not shaped the same, they are bumpy, i have finger prints in them bc the tech kept touching them to see if they were dry. To say the least, I'm still on the hunt for a nice, clean, affordable, friendly nail salon. The leather on the chairs were worn. The people working were very unfriendly and cold-shouldery. This salon did not have a relaxing atmosphere -- it was very bright, no soft music, etc. -- and overall, did not provide much of a relaxing experience. My manicure chipped before the day's end -- it was also done poorly from the start. There were bumps all over my nails, the polish wasn't level, etc., it was just a quick, poor job. There was only customer, who was having her nails done, and another employee who walked into the back when I got there. When I walked in, the woman said "do you have an apppointment?" in an annoyed voice. No hi, hello, nothing..I said no, and asked if she had time for me. She shook her head then made a huge production of looking at the clock and told me it would be about an hour's wait. I said that was fine, and sat down. The woman shook her head again, and then made a comment under her breath about not having an appointment. I ignored the unfriendly attitude originally, but as I was sitting there looking around at the salon, I noticed how dingy the place is. The front counter is used for old product storage, you can see a layer of dust around the bottom. I also wasn't able to find a color of nail polish I liked from the limited selection available. My mother goes here for pedicures and tells me they do a wonderful job. She loves coming here. Honestly, I don't know anything about pedicures but her toes looked good to me, I guess. But, I do know something about people and the people who work here are very kind. You see, my mom is 91. I watch how they hold the door for her. I see how they help her stand up and sit down. I watch them patiently listen, or patiently repeat themselves when she doesn't hear them. As far as nail salons go this is pretty good. The price is right, the staff is friendly and most importantly my nails looked great when I left. Moving from the city and getting weekly manicures I have high expectations. Lee Nails Spa gave me every reason to make it my new regular place. Ambiance is a little lacking but its functional and they have probably the most high tech chairs I've seen around which was a surprise for a strip mall nail salon. I just visited the spa today to get a set of acrylics put on. Sonya did my nails, and it was wonderful! She was professional and kind. She explained procedures and care tips while she patiently waited for me to choose a color. Sonya wasn't nosy and after awhile it was like talking to a girlfriend. She was sweet and took a general interest in my life. The service was professional quality and quick. Whenever I had a question or a request, she responded kindly and was cooperative. The pricing was wonderful for me, and Sonya attempted a design that was not in her gallery. She put anchors on my nails for design, and they could not be more perfect! I came in because my usual salon was closed for the Vietnamese New Year. I sat through the weirdest removal of my existing dip. They soaked them and scraped them for almost 30 minutes. Then the dip took quite awhile. At the end the color was inconsistent in appearance. While they did offer to put another coat on I'd already been there an hour and a half. Then I was told it was $15 for the dip removal and then another $40 for the dip. So disappointed. I've never encountered this issue with the color. They won't see me or any of my friends and family ever again. I should have been informed about the charge for the removal of the existing dip. I would have waited!! read more

I have been here twice now and love it. First time I just got a dip mani. Second time I did a pedi and dip. They did my removal for my previous dip while I was getting my pedi which saved a bunch of time. Both times my dip has been perfect shape and color. They knew I was going shopping so they wrapped my toes in oil and a baggie under my socks so I didn't mess up my pedi. We had great conversation both times. This is my new go to! read more

All the women here do a great job. I have been coming here for two years and Katie is my favorite. She is a sweetheart and I sometimes mess up my nails on my way out and she always fixes it with a smile before I leave. The mani-pedi lasts for a long time, which is important because I've been to places where after a few days the nail polish is coming off already. The pedicure chairs are great. I've never tried the waxing, but they do have it there. Mostly importantly you can walk in at any time and get your nails done. My main concern when having my nails done is having the tech use STERILE tools. The nail tech brought out tools in a non sealed sterilization pouch opened.... ( Little did she know, I'm a nurse and use an autoclave on a daily basis. If you're not sure what that is- it's the machine that does the sterilization and there are VERY specific directions to follow for the tools to be cleaned properly. The bag must be sealed and there is a color changing symbol on the back of EVERY pouch that turns brown after it is heated to an extremely high temperature.) I asked her to get another package that was actually put in the autoclave and she proceeded to explain to me why it was not sealed...she stated that "they don't seal the pouches so the steam can kill the bacteria. I also asked why the symbol on the back of the pouch didn't change color and she said " These pouches don't do that." PLEASE understand that if you go into a salon and they tell you this- you need to know that they are not sterile and they are feeding you lies. Google what an autoclave is and what pouches look like and see how the symbol changes color after it has gone through the proper treatment. I can not stress enough to do your research on what a properly sterile package looks like. I will NEVER go back to this place. read more

Just moved to Batavia and was looking for a new salon. After reading the reviews on Yelp, decided to try it for a pedicure. It was not a good experience. I wanted to relax and be pampered after our last two weeks of moving. The owner acted "put off" that I was there. She even said I should make an appointment if I want my nails done. The front of the shop says "Walk ins Welcome". I was anything but welcomed. She turned away customers while I she was doing my pedicure and never smiled. I got my nails done here for my wedding, so that will tell you my opinion of the quality of work they do. I recently got them done for the USMC Ball and I have recieved many compliments as well. That being said, I will more than likely go back because I like the quality of work, it is in a convienient location for me, and it is affordable. However, I have never had a good experience with customer service and neither has my mother. You are not greeted when you walk in, nor are you treated with respect. The ladies act very put out that you are there and they often try to upsell you (sea salt? Lip wax? no chip? NO!). The last time I went in, I had an appointment 3 weeks in advance and they acted like they were going out of their way to serve me. I asked if there were any colors that matched a no-chip color I had chosen (to put on my toes since I would be wearing an evening gown with dress shoes). The girl said, "She can help you with that," (referring to a coworker who was clearly busy) and walked away,.Then she continued to play on her iphone while everyone else working there had customers. My mom and I wanted a relaxing mani/pedi on our Saturday night off, and the place I normally would go was closed. I decided to give this place a try as they were the only nail place open I could find, and they seemed to have pretty average reviews. We called ahead to make sure they could take us and that it wasn't to late and the woman over the phone said that it was "fine". When we walked in they seemed very put off and annoyed about us coming in. If you didn't want to take a late walk in, you could have said no, especially because I called ahead. Now let me start out by saying, I have always heard about having nail technicians talk about you in front of you in their native language, but I never thought I would actually have it happen to me, as I work in a spa and understand common etiquette in a workplace. That was the most UNRELAXING pedicure I have every had. Yes thank you for noticing my unshaven legs, something you should be used to with making a living painting toes so you deal with legs and feet. I can 100% tell that you're laughing and giggling and pointing to my legs, that you obviously have a problem with me not having a clean shaven leg. Ridiculous. On top of that the leg scrub was $5 extra. Anyplace I have ever gone ever does NOT charge extra for the leg scrub. It's part of a pedicure... On top of that, I know I'm due in to get my eye brows waxed.(they honestly aren't even that bad) my nail technician not only asked once, but twice if I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed, and when I said no she was clearly smirking and had a chuckle under her breath, she was doing my nails the 2nd time she asked so I could clearly hear her chuckle. On top of all of that, they made my moms cuticles bleed, cut off all her nails super short without even asking. The day after she ready had 3 nails chipped. Also the payment was put all on one card when I clearly said we were paying separate. And on top of all of this??? There was another nail technician who was literally arguing with a girl who was in there when I first went in, and was still being worked on when I left. She was arguing with the girl telling her that her nails were even and they clearly were not, the girl even asked my moms opinion and it was undoubtedly crooked. It was very uncomfortable and awkward, and I honestly felt bad for the girl. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely not be coming back. Went last night for a pedicure with one of my friends who likes Mark and Katie (which is why we went there though I've had subpar eyebrow experiences there) and had an awful time. I told them I hadn't had a pedicure in 6-7 years and I was told to sit down and put my feet in the water. Then I was asked if I was doing my fingernails too, and I said not today. The girl said they look bad, I should. I said not today. Went through the same thing with my eyebrows several times as well, and I was also asked why, to which I responded I didn't bring money for it, which should've dropped the matter but we went in circles about that too. Several minutes later I was asked what color and I didn't know I was supposed to pick that first, so I said my friend would pick it when she was done having her eyebrows done. The girl doing my feet then laughed at me and then went and got a basket of samples so I started looking through them, which is when my friend and Katie came out. Katie asked where I got the basket and I told her it was handed to me, and she said those weren't colors for my feet. So that was incredibly awkward as well, and I wish I had just been told up front that I needed to grab a color. The pedicure itself was fine and looks nice, but my friend and I were absolutely being made fun of by some of the employees in another language until mark came, at which point everything settled down. Overall it was an incredibly uncomfortable experience, and I will not be returning. Which is a shame since mark was so nice, but I'm not about to pay anyone to insult and laugh at me. read more

This place is in major need of cleaning up. The entryway floor is covered with dirt and leaves. The carpeted floors of the salon were covered with nail clippings and looked like it had not been vacuumed in a long time. I was the only patron there, yet they sat me in a pedicure chair where the leather was all ripped up. There was no hot water in the tub. Nail tech had to go to the back room and dump hot water in from a bucket. The purple loofah scrubber they used on me looked filthy! It was brown and dingy. I left there feeling dirty! Will not be going back. I'll pay a few dollars more for a cleaner experience somewhere else. read more

This is the BEST nail salon around! Katie and Mark are the nicest people. They know all their regular customers by name (think Cheers). I love coming here because they have a huge selection of colors and are always adding new seasonal colors. My no-chip manicures are always done perfectly and last over two weeks. They offer a variety of pedicure options, my favorite is the Luxury Pedicure. Katie gives the best massages, I'm always relaxed when I'm done. Any time I smug my nail polish, they always fix it without any issues. The prices are fair and well displayed. I'd recommend this salon to anyone looking to have the best nails in town!! read more

During the pedicure, the nail tech asked me which lotion I preferred for the foot massage. I thought that was nice since most places don't give you an option.
