I had a very good experience at this salon with just some minor complaints, so let me break it down for you. I read some complaints about people having to wait a while until they were seated with an employee, so I played it safe and made an appointment for a Wednesday afternoon at 5:00. I got there a little early and was seated immediately as it wasn't too busy at the time. I got a pedicure first. It was very good, and she took her time doing a nice job. I sat and relaxed in the massage chair while she went about her business. The only issue was that before she painted my nails, she used lotion on my legs and feet, which she did not wipe off with any polish remover, rubbing alcohol, etc. prior to using the paint color. My toenail polish usually will last weeks, even when I do it myself, but this started chipping within three days of application :( It seemed like she knew what she was doing otherwise, so I chalked it up to oversight or distraction. Who doesn't have a rough day at work sometimes? Still a big disappointment, but I was just thankful I had the exact shade of polish at home so I could fix what was coming off. Then I got a full set of acrylic done by another employee. She was super friendly and talkative, which I enjoyed. She did a really good job on my nails overall, and definitely took her time. Between the pedicure and the full acrylic application I was probably there about two hours. The only thing I noticed after the fact about my manicure was that she never pushed back my cuticles before applying the acrylics. This seemed to make a huge impact on the wear of the nails, as it looked like I needed a fill much sooner than I should have. If she had pushed them back she'd have been able to start the acrylic higher up and they wouldn't have grown out on me so quickly :-/ Overall, I liked this place. It used to be located in Charlestowne Mall, and every time I would walk by it was the only thing in the mall that was packed and busy. That was one of the first reasons I decided to try it. I figured all those customers knew something I didn't! And as I am relatively new to the area, I had yet to try any nail places close to home. I did have a nice overall experience, but perhaps this should act as a warning for customers to pay attention to what is actually being done while you are there so they don't miss any important steps in the process. read more

This is the best nail salon in St Charles! Four Seasons used to be located in Charlestown Mall but recently renovated a store front in Tin Cup Pass ( by Ginos East). This place never lets me down! Not only do they do a great job, their prices are super affordable. Definitely the cheapest I have seen. You get what you pay for.. Went in for a full set and technician paid no attention to cuticle area of my nails. After filing nails, technician didn't let me wash hands so my hands felt gritty and gross the whole time. Nails lasted 2 weeks before starting to break. I did a home removal of the acrylics, I soaked in acetone and used a orange stick to take off acrylic. To my horror I had found they used MMA on my nails. I came to 4 Seasons nail salon with a few of my friends and was incredibly disappointed by the service. It was the fastest manicure I've ever gotten in my life, probably attributed to the fact that the workers paid little attention to detail. I had only asked for a simple, one color manicure, but the results were sloppy, and the polish was goopy. In addition to that, three of my friends (out of the four of us total) had our nails chip within 2 days, which is unacceptable. The prices at 4 Seasons are low, which is also reflective of the quality of this salon. Save your money, and go elsewhere. Not even worth the $12. read more

Used to go to these guys before I moved to FL back when they were still at charlestowne mall. The owners are so incredibly friendly, they remembered my friend and I after years and the prices are reasonable for the quality. Love this place, they are so talented and welcoming! They care about the clients and you can tell that they mostly have regulars because of the great services they have. I use to love going here, but every time now I feel it gets worse and worse. I even showed a picture this time when getting a full set and she did them about 3x longer, even after I asked for shorter. She shaped them really bad too, a lot of them are crooked and do not match. I've been going to them since they were on the Charleston Mall. I recently got my nails done and I did not like the color/style since it was nothing like the picture I showed them. Lee went above a beyond to redo them, fix them and make sure it was what I liked and as close to the picture I presented. I walked away a happy customer and loyal as usual. I was a customer for about 5 years because I was scared to go anywhere else. Over the years, the service and quality started to decline and the price went up. My acrylic nails chipped after a few days and they seem to be rushing. I would make appointments and not be called untill atleast 30 mins to and hour later! The place is also dirty and the dryer takes 20 mins + to dry your nails because it's so old. I recently went to Ravenna and it was the best experience ever!! I am new to the area and am looking for a good place. I went with my mom and we asked for pedicures and no chip. We got in the pedicure chairs and the whole thing started off ok. The girl I had didn't speak English though so I tried to ask for my nails to be a certain way but she didn't understand. The massage was really bad and she didn't know how to paint nails so she had to wait for a guy to come over to finish. While he painted my toes, she shaped my hands but she made them into such a straight square that the corners literally cut open my skin later on. I asked for them to smooth the corners and the guy translated but they were still terrible. The guy who painted my toes, then did my no chip manicure. He also had to do my moms so he rushed so fast that both my mom and I had bubbles under our nails and they started peeling 2 days after. We also didn't get a full manicure with the arm rub or lotion or cuticle cleaning. It was a very bad experience and I wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

I tried them when they were in the mall and loved them. I tried again recently and the place was filthy. There were 3 techs and each tech had a customer, no problem. The woman asked me what I needed when I walked in and I told her. Then she said for me to pick a color. I said I brought my own and she snapped and said well you'll have to wait. Clearly I can see that but thank you. I sat and waited and as I did I noticed the place was dusty, the flowers in the vase on the coffee table were not only old and dying but were sitting in old dark water that had mold developing on the inside of the vase. Needless to say I left. If you can't bother to either freshen the water for your flowers or use fake ones and defintely dust...what does that say about your cleanliness habits for the nail instruments/tools you use on costumers? read more

I thought they were great! My mom and I went in for pedicures and I got a no chip mani. We made an appointment about 30 min. beforehand and they were ready for us. It was my first time getting a no-chip, and the manicurist explained how everything worked. It looks great! The chairs were wonderful and they even have a couple of kids' chairs for little girls. The prices were very reasonable -- $48 for both a pedicure and a no-chip mani, I think, even though their advertised price was more. I'll be coming back for sure. read more
