I read some complaints about people having to wait a while until they were seated with an employee, so I played it safe and made an appointment for a Wednesday afternoon at 5:00. I got there a little early and was seated immediately as it wasn't too busy at the time. I got a pedicure first. It was very good, and she took her time doing a nice job. I sat and relaxed in the massage chair while she went about her business. The only issue was that before she painted my nails, she used lotion on my legs and feet, which she did not wipe off with any polish remover, rubbing alcohol, etc. prior to using the paint color. My toenail polish usually will last weeks, even when I do it myself, but this started chipping within three days of application :( It seemed like she knew what she was doing otherwise, so I chalked it up to oversight or distraction. Who doesn't have a rough day at work sometimes? Still a big disappointment, but I was just thankful I had the exact shade of polish at home so I could fix what was coming off. Then I got a full set of acrylic done by another employee. She was super friendly and talkative, which I enjoyed. She did a really good job on my nails overall, and definitely took her time. Between the pedicure and the full acrylic application I was probably there about two hours. The only thing I noticed after the fact about my manicure was that she never pushed back my cuticles before applying the acrylics. This seemed to make a huge impact on the wear of the nails, as it looked like I needed a fill much sooner than I should have. If she had pushed them back she'd have been able to start the acrylic higher up and they wouldn't have grown out on me so quickly :-/ Overall, I liked this place. It used to be located in Charlestowne Mall, and every time I would walk by it was the only thing in the mall that was packed and busy. That was one of the first reasons I decided to try it. I figured all those customers knew something I didn't! And as I am relatively new to the area, I had yet to try any nail places close to home. I did have a nice overall experience, but perhaps this should act as a warning for customers to pay attention to what is actually being done while you are there so they don't miss any important steps in the process.

This place never lets me down! Not only do they do a great job, their prices are super affordable. Definitely the cheapest I have seen.
