They are under new ownership and the place is incredible! Looks so much more inviting and the staff is very friendly. I got a basic mani/pedi and they took their time and the results were fantastic! I felt like I was getting royal treatment the entire time. Highly recommend you trying them out, even if you didn't like the old place! read more

Worst eyebrow wax ever. woman seemed like she was in a hurry even though there were no other customers. First she barely put the strip on the wax before ripping it off without holding my skin which basically just pulled my skin right along with the wax. When she finished I had to ask for her tweezers and plucked several strays myself...not to mention the work i had to do on them when I got home. Will never go back! read more

Ummm... The WORST experience ever! A friend and I went in for a relaxing Sunday mani. Didn't get it! We made an apt at 3:30 but one of us got in at 3:35 and one of us at 3:55. Not what we had in mind. In addition, the staff was rude. My manicurist never even spoke to me. She kept getting up and didn't give more than a minute massage. She actually cut one of my cuticles and she had to get it to stop bleeding. My friend and I both had dirty, used towels at the station and the tools were NOT sterilized. They used the SAME tools on the prior customer!!! Disgusting and, I believe illegal. The shop was so dirty. Nail dust, staff eating food in front of customers, bad attitudes, messy condition, unclean and unkept. Bottom line...$17 for a manicure is not a super expensive splurge. However, we went to treat ourselves and had a very unpleasant experience. Not sure what is keeping them in business. Won't ever go back. read more

Last week I had a good friend come from Denver and we decided to try Lee Nails. It was a huge disappointment. We could get beyond the attitudes of the workers-what we couldn't ignore was the unsterilized equipment, the filthy floor (nail parts, dust, dirt etc) and the seemingly blind eye to all things that make a spa experience relaxing. We both noticed that while the floor, surfaces etc were dirty there were three workers who sat looking at their phones. My friend even had a cut on her foot from the pedicure! We left very dissatisfied. The good news? We went south on Randal and found a beautiful, clean friendly nail salon called Best Nails-right north of Sears appliances at few shopping centers south of Lee Nails. read more

I just got the best manicure EVER! Sonya was wonderful - careful, fast, pleasant but not too chatty. I think it might be the first time that I got pink and white manicure where the white wasn't lopsided on any nail. This is definitely my new nail place. read more

Holly does a great pedicure here! They also do the best job shaping my eyebrows. I have never a problem if i am at trader joe's and want to just pop in for a quick wax. If you are looking for a fancy place move on but if you are looking for a great pedicure and friendly staff this is it! read more

Clean, welcoming salon with terrific service! I've been going here regularly for no chip manis and pedis since I moved here from downtown. Great people, timely, beautiful work! Highly recommend! read more

I love going to Lee Nails. My no-chip manicures are great and inexpensive. Owner is so nice!

I've been going to Lee Nails regularly for several months. They were recommended by a friend, and I've been more than pleased with the service here. Going here is like visiting family for me. We always laugh and talk with each other and catch up on each others lives. Katie is my preferred technician, but you can't go wrong with anyone there. Always great service, I've never felt rushed and they always go above and beyond. The owner, Mark; is friendly and outgoing. I've taken friends with me and everyone I've taken has enjoyed their visit. I regularly get pedicures, no-chip manicures and eyebrow waxing. If you go in with a good attitude and act friendly towards them, you'll leave as a friend. They're the best! read more

I went to Lee nails for a pedicure and they fit me in right before closing. They did not rush but took their time and did a nice job. The place was clean, music was relaxing and magazines were current. I over all enjoyed the experience and will go back again and try a manicure. read more

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP - the staff is friendly - the salon is clean - service is great. Katie does wonderful work - customers are remembered. I've been to the salon 3 times and the positive changes noted above have been consistent - and continue to expand as new staff joins the team. This salon gets 5 stars across the board. read more

Stay away from this place; all I wanted was a pink fill and Katy wrecked my nails. She was sloppy and hurt me when she filed down the white part of my French manicure to make the nail a bit thinner. She tried to talk me into a no chip French manicure but I would not trust her to do anything. read more

This is a great place! Love the massaging chair and pay extra for the sea salt scrub, its well worth it. Very reasonable and friendly.

If I can only give zero stars!! I can't count the number of pedicures I've had in my years and NEVER have I been cut until now. She cut me so bad with the cuticle cutters that I had to go to urgent care! Livid is how I left! read more

Terrible. I went to only get one gel nail fixed. They were not happy and kept questioning me on the polish color. I know the color, it's very common. They never found it in no chip, so I had to get regular. That would have been fine, if she cut my nail the same length as the other 9, made it the same shape, or polished it without chunks of clear polish with fuzz in there. I took off the polish in the car and I am cleaning up her mess at home. Also, this process took 20 minutes. My normal 10 nails take 45 for a gel fill somewhere else! Don't ever go here. read more

Very disappointing experience I just had and will never go back again. I started going to Lee nails about two years ago, recently I just changed jobs and my commute to work it's going north on Randall. I started going to different salons because it's closer to work. Today, (4/26/14) my best friend and I decided to get a no chip, we were in the area and decided to go to Lee nails. The first thing the owner said to me after looking at my month old no chip, from another salon was, "where did you go?" I stated, somewhere near my work. She quickly changed her attitude towards me and gave me the "unwelcomed viibe". I sat at the table with foil on my nails for 15 mins, while she took another customer. Finally, someone was ready for my nails. The owner, turned her head and said, "new policy here is if you get a no chip from a different salon, it's $5 extra to take off. I quickly, looked at the pricing chart and didn't see the "new policy". My best friend who was with me, who comes very frequently, never heard of this. I was and still am very upset over this matter. Over all, poor customer service. The owner wants everyone to come back for her service to you need to pay extra. I hope this owner knows that there is a nail salon on basically every corner and people, like myself stop at a nearest salon when it's convenient. read more

Great place for a pedicure. Definately pay the extra $5 for the sea salt massage...it is heaven. Only $25 for standard pedicure, $30 including sea salt massage. The pedicure seats are nice...you can get a nice back massage from them while you are getting your footsies pretty. I'd definately go back here. It is a bit difficult to find....it is located in the same lot as Trader Joe's, but you have to go around the corner to the right. I stopped in on a Monday afternoon about 4:30pm (without an appointment) and was able to get a pedicure with no waiting. While I was there, about four more ladies came in for pedicures. I think there are about 5 or 6 pedicure seats. But there was not enough staff to cover the seats at that time, so some ladies did have to wait about 10-15 minutes. I took off one star simply because I had a hard time understanding the girl who was working on my feet and at times I didn't know what she was saying or asking me. Otherwise, great place for a pedicure. read more

rude employees I would not recommend going here unless you want dirty looks and less than average nails/service
