Stopped in here after lunch at e&s next door. Pedicure today. Good service - very nice people - fair pricing. Worth a stop!

Magic Nails - I my nails!!! For the 1st time, I do really love my nails! No Chip (Gel) nails - French Manicure with glitter and 1 diamond! - Nail Salons Near Me - Saint Charles, Illinois

Rude nail technician. Very slow service. Do not come for walk-ins. Outdated salon furniture. I would not recommend this place to my friends. Better off going down to the street to the competition. read more

The J, J and J were a lot of fun to chat with. They took my friend and I right away the first time and did a great job! We will be meeting here again! The wait is hit or miss so I suggest calling ahead. Second time there was a wait and since we were not from the area had to leave. See you all again soon! read more

Did not have a pleasant experience here. Came in with a few girlfriends on a Saturday to get simple manicures and we were treated a bit like animals. Got strictly told to pick a color and sit down. The quality of my manicure was very poor. All tools were clean and sterile but my technician rushed through the process. I think the entire process lasted 10 minutes. If you try Magic Nails, make it a point to ask for a second coat of polish or you will end up with one single very uneven coat (this was true with the two other ladies that were with me at the time as well). Each of our manicures chipped within hours (even the "no chip gel"). I'm sad that I wasted my money on such poor quality service. read more

I absolutely love this nail salon! Everyone is friendly and the work that was done was amazing. Jimmy and Gina were outstanding. I have found my new nail salon for sure. Best pedicure and company for sure hands down. I will be booking a girls night out soon! Thanks again to everyone there! read more

I went into Magic Nails wanting to try a new place and I was not at all disappointed! I went in thinking I would do the worst for my nails by getting acrylic because that is the only way I don't pick at my cuticles. The staff at Magic Nails explained a new technique called "Dipped in Powder", which is a step above no-chip and below acrylic. It turned out beautifully and my nails are getting strong again! The staff was personable and took their time! I even got a Pokemon named after me during my visit! I will definitely be going back. They also have a couple deals On the Hometown rewards app. read more

Super unprofessional. Mad an appointment for 10 am and got there at 10 and the doors were locked and closed. Don't make appointments for that time if you're not opens. What a waste of my time. read more

I have been going here for a long time. Usually got an OK pedicure but the last couple of visits were awful. Sometimes they have an older woman working (I think the mother) do pedicures. Lazy technics on her part. She did not want to wait for the polish remover to take off the glitter polish so he used a acrylic nail grinder. I could see my nail being reduced to powder and asked her to stop. She wasn't happy. Bad attitude, arrogant. Sloppy job, very opinioned about color choices. REALLY? Next visit someone named Johnny clearly did not know or hadn't been trained to do a proper pedicure. Said he worked at their other location. Pretended to file the edges of the nail by just putting the file near it and moving to the next toe. Like I was not watching? I am sure some of the people there do not have the required State license certificate to do nail work. There are many hours of training required and a test to pass to qualify. These 2 people don't show any formal training skills. PLUS that last time Johnny cut my skin on both big toes and I had to go the foot doctor to treat the infection... since they also do not do the cleansing process required by the state after each customer. I looked it up and it's real specific on the procedures for sanitation and license requirements. Sad, they were convenient, priced fair and NEVER busy. I wonder why. read more

Yo wtf I tried this place out and me and my step sister both got acrylic fills and the total somehow turned out to be 80$ like what that's literally the dumbest thing I've ever heard I was so salty don't go here read more

Just had a pedicure from Vicki and a manicure from Jimmy. Clean and bight and cheery shop. I also loved that they clean the tools. Got the basic spa pedicure, my toes look great. Jimmy took a lot of time cleaning up my nails from leftover acrylic gel nails and did a terrific manicure. My nails look clean and fresh. Very friendly and clean place. I will go back. Update; Have been going all summer and my real nails are now beautiful! I never thought my real nails could look so good! read more

Magic Nails - French with a little silver, so pretty! - Nail Salons Near Me - Saint Charles, Illinois

I took my elderly mom here after I had a recommendation. I did have an appointment and we were there right on time. When we got there nobody greeted us. They were all busy with a few others. I decided to look at some nail polish after waiting about 10 minutes. Finally a girl ask if she could help me. My mom and I were supposed to have side by side peds. They fill one tub with hot water for my mom. The girl walked away and left me to help my mom. I felt the water and it was so hot she would have be burnt. Plus they had a t.v. on and the music was so LOUD you could hardly have a conversation. I have never walked out of a place for bad service but we did and no one seemed to care. We ended up at salone agape with wonderful service. read more

I called earlier in the day to find out prices & I was not told they do appointments only. So I get there after work & they wouldn't take me. There were only 2 people working there. & only 2 customers. read more

The technician was proficient but he did not even bother to greet me nor introduce himself. He was young. He did a good job at an average price. The older gentleman who looks like he might be the owners came to be more personable. There was a young girl reading her cell phone and if they wanted to be presentable I think she could have tidied up the place.I'm probably being generous with a number of stars even though it was technically okay. There was not disposable plastic in the pedicure bowls.there was immature music playing so fetch your things. There were some mature plants that looked semi neglected. The location is awkward but good for people who live near that neighborhood. There was not much business when I went in and out. There was a TV but it was not on. They didn't even bother to put new batteries in the Little nail drying fans so that was useless. Near the entryway was a large utilitarian unit for drying nails and it was visibly cracked all over and was rumbling and worked extremely poorly or not at all really. Very disappointing. If you want technical correctness it's okay but if you want to be pampered forget it. They probably don't have enough money to fix up the place so I wish them success so that they can do an upgrade and attract more business. And they need to teach their technicians to greet people introduce themselves at the very very least. They did offer a bottle of water. Otherwise I felt rude and dismissive. read more

I'm not impressed. I agree with Shannon's review on how she was treated. The owner is quite demanding. This is a family operation. The parents own the salon, and their daughter and son work there. My friend and I went here together for pedicures. I called ahead for an appointment, and did not get a friendly or accommodating vibe over the phone. When we walked-in, they barked at us to pick a color and sit in the chair. My pedicure started with the usual scrub, lotion, pumice stone, and a long foot/leg rub by the daughter. Then the daughter walked away, without saying anything. The father was filing, trimming and painting my friend's nails, and I was just sitting there. The son and daughter of the owners were sitting in the other pedicure chairs, with the massage settings turned on, looking at their laptop and watching a movie on TV. Um, hello? Is the Dad the only one who can trim/paint nails? Because of that, we were there for an hour and a half. The tools were in sanitized pouches, which is nice to see, but the Dad was going from client to client without washing hands between. Bleh. read more

This is a great place! They were able to take two of us last minute even though they were closing soon. Everyone is so friendly too. This is the best place in the area. We tried calling other places in the area and no one could take us or their prices were ridiculous. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get their nails done. I'll get a picture of my nails when they're done! read more

I had a great experience here! Just moved into the area and received a coupon in the mail for a discounted No Chip Mani & Pedi. Gina took care of me and did an excellent job on my nails. I had appointment. Came 5 minutes late to appointment and was told I had to wait another 20 minutes. Went across the street to wait and have a glass of vino, called after 25 minutes and was told to wait 10 more minutes. Waited. Daughter came up after she said "another one" and finally started pedicure about 10 more minutes later. One hour late. It has now been an hour after she started and after my appointment. She is doing good job, however most of us do not have 2.5 hours to spare for pedicure. That being said, I felt compelled to pair my first bad review ever. As the woman in charge was doing another pedicure she said sorry for wait: " I thought the woman before you was you.". Then other woman told me she had no appointment, called and they told her to come in. This didn't go over too well with me. Super disappointed and wound have left by have wedding this weekend and not a lot of time. Not professional in terms of making an appointment- it means nothing. I have now been here 2.25 hours. read more

Probably one of the best experiences I've had getting my nails done. I was able to walk right in and get a gel manicure. The yelp deal scored five dollars off which was awesome. I just stopped in here tonight after work for a pedicure. I have tiny toe nails so I always feel sorry for the person who has to paint them. In any event, Jimmy is the BEST! He did a great job with my tiny toe nails and he pointed out that the person who did my last manicure didn't do such a great job (they forgot to clean my cuticles). I will definitely go back to Magic Nails for both my manicures and pedicures. Bonus is that Jimmy is funny and fun to talk to! read more

Went here for the first time on 4/22. Good experience overall. The girl I had (didn't catch her name but would go to her again) was thorough and precise. She was a little slow. But in the end I left satisfied. I'm picky about my nails and the paint job and I thought she did great. Little pricey though. No chip was $35 but I had a coupon. Price should be $30. read more
