After months of planning, I was naturally nervous, but Bill made the whole process so much easier. He was incredibly accommodating, patient with all of my questions, and always willing to work with me to make sure every detail came together. Most importantly, he was true to his word. Everything we discussed beforehand was delivered exactly as promised, which gave me so much peace of mind. The staff was just as amazing. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that everyone was having a great time. They kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes so I could relax and enjoy such a special evening with my family and friends. The venue itself was beautiful, clean, and created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the space, the service, and how well everything was organized. Seeing the look on my husband's face when he walked into his surprise party is a memory I'll treasure forever, and this venue played a huge part in making that moment possible. Thank you, Bill, and your incredible team, for helping create a night our family will never forget. We ordered the Ahi tuna appetizer, which was good, but the course pacing completely fell apart after that. Our salads took 25 minutes to arrive. Before I could even get the fresh ground pepper I requested, our main courses were rushed to the table while we hadn't even started our salads. The food quality was unacceptable for an upscale restaurant: Both my wife and I ordered our steaks medium-rare. Mine arrived completely leathery, dry as a bone, and thoroughly overcooked. I didn't eat a single bite of it. My wife's steak arrived medium-well, and her side of rice was completely dry. The bottle of red wine we ordered from their very small wine list was served warm. When we declined having the steak re-fired or free dessert, we finished our wine and asked for the check. The $62 inedible steak was still on the bill, so I asked to speak with the owner. When I calmly explained the issues, the owner became angry that I didn't want the steak redone and walked away mid-conversation. He eventually came back, removed the $62 steak, and told us he didn't want us back in his restaurant. To top it off, for an establishment charging fine-dining prices where guests dress up, the owner was wearing shorts and sneakers. One chance is all a restaurant gets to make a good impression. Lincoln House missed the mark completely. We will not be returning.

Really glad our path led us here. I like the fact that they refer to it as California style barbecue. Thankfully, it's not a pretentious place at all, and the price won't break the bank. But this barbecue is high-quality. We enjoyed the quaint old-school decor and a welcoming atmosphere. Service was very good. Our server, Maria, is good at what she does. Friendly and relatable, she helped make dining here a comfortable experience.

I finally stated facts about Camila, and she stung me by banning me. I was yelled at and my integrity questioned when accused of not paying a bill on the 4th of July. I did, in fact pay my $30 meal with two twenties. Camila told me, "You no pay your 40 dollars! I no serve you!" Oh, how and why she said forty when that was what I exactly left. I was not to be served. I asked her to review the tape from camera because it would have proven her doubt. Yes, I paid it, TWICE because I love being there. Never have I been unkind nor disrespectful toward the people at the restaurant. I have hosted so many parties, encouraged many to get up and sing, dance and join the fun. Many Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays were busy due to the hundreds of friends I brought and introduced to this place. Oh, so now I am banned from your establishment because I told and wrote truth...facts that other people have also experienced regarding Camila's poor manners. I expressed thee injustice in an email. Nothing was addressed. I have been a long time customer since it was Mariposa's Restaurant owned by Laura on Restaurant Row and here, on Rowland. I've held my tongue for a long time. Love coming here for many reasons. I love being there amongst my well receptive crowd of loving friends. Genuine kindness and customer service is important. I find it unfair to ban me for stating how I feel. Well deserved four to five stars for the chef, the karaoke hosts, the former server who was fired. I believe Heriberto/aka Eric/Heri was friendly, fun, efficient and well received. As a former schoolteacher and humanitarian, I believe in fairness, kindness and addressing rude people with hope that their actions do not affect others. Sadly, some do not like to be called out. Camila and Mauricio made a grave decision. Rather than improve on their behalf, they'd rather retaliate with vengeance. I hope that you heal and are careful with your future actions, Camila and Mauricio. By the way, several bar stools have sharp metal sticking way out. Someone can be hurt. I told staff last week, April 25, 2026. The protruding steel and stools are not safe.
