Really enjoyed the hot yoga class here! Came on a Friday night and the owner was very welcoming and explained the concept of her studio and some of the products they offered. They carry many CBD products and offer a variety of classes so there's something for everyone. She also mentioned that clients can coordinate with them to host events at the studio as well. The studio is very chic and super clean. There is even a seating area with wifi available. You can sit there to catch up on work if you arrive early before your class. For a first timer here, class was $5 which is a great price to try out a class. The instructor was also very friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and showed modifications for certain moves in case anyone needed it. The class I attended had 7 others so we were spaced apart enough. The number of participants allowed per class is limited and masks are worn during class so I felt safe. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area again.

Long over due review. This is the best studio ever. I have been a member since the beginning days and have enjoyed each and every class I've attended. There is always something new to look forward to and it is the perfect studio to relax, unwind, have fun & catch up all while working on yourself. The owner, Leila, is a solid visionary who always finds a way to keep the studio alive with new and exciting classes. This is the reason I keep coming back, thank you VENNU Studio for making a difference in our community!

My mind was completely somewhere else at the time and when I arrived, I realized I had forgotten my gym shoes and showed up in Crocs (as you can see in the pics)... I know, super cringe right?‍. Luckily the girl at the front desk was super cool about it, made me feel welcomed, told me to put them on sports mode and to just do the workout! Im glad I decided to stay because class was awesome. I love how it's non stop and you get both cardio and strength exercises in the same session. You usually do 60 seconds on an air bike, a 10 second transition break and then 60 seconds of some sort of strength exercise on the floor depending what area of the body is being targeted that day. They have a variety of dumbbells, barbells, TRX Suspension System, kettle bells, BOSU Ball, Ply Box or just your own body weight suitable for that days strength workout. Oh, I say usually 60 seconds because sometimes they'll switch it up and do 90 seconds instead. Regardless, all classes are about 35 minutes long not including a post 10 minute stretch/core exercise. All in all, you're in and out of there in less than hour. Luckily, I came right before the Summer Summit Challenge started, so I was able to join that. It's 6 weeks of unlimited classes for $170 which is such a great deal! Along the way, you'll get a prize or two as well. At class 18, I received a sweat gym towel and on my 28th class (I'm 2 away), they are giving away a Basecamp Owala water bottle. The only thing I wish I could've done differently is signed up sooner. The whole staff is super friendly, parking is a breeze, the cleanliness of the facility and equipment is excellent and it's conveniently located right off the freeway too. They also have showers on site in case you need to freshen up before going out somewhere after class. If you're on the fence whether to join or to at least try out a class, take it from me and just go... trust me, I hate exploring new places, especially on my own

The model of having the screens showing the exercises, the demo from the instructors at the beginning, and their coaching during the class make this a worthwhile exercise. While the routines here don't feel as intense as the Burkingame location, you absolutely will get a workout. And any class with Dionne or JR will be a great time. Showers, changing rooms, 2 bathrooms, water filling station, lockers (bring your own locks) all available. San Bruno parking has an awful system and aggressive enforcement, so don't forget to pay.

I love that there are separate cardio and strength days--it keeps things balanced and never boring. Compared to OTF, F45 feels more well-rounded. I do sometimes miss machines, so I'll take a day or two to hit the gym, but F45 is my main workout. This location is conveniently located close to 280/101. It's spacious, clean, the equipment is well maintained and the coaches are always upbeat and supportive. The unlimited pass is also flexible and lets you visit other studios which is convenient when I'm running late from work or traveling. I've checked out F45 in SF, San Mateo, Burlingame, Pittsburgh, and Newport Beach Highly recommend if you want variety, structure, and a strong fitness community.

Poor form, injuries, overtraining, ego. In my first session with Mark I immediately learned that my form led to instability. Fixing that, I felt my squat secure and confident. This is the theme of Fullgrip. Low ego, form focused, and strategically shifting to heavier weights so its sustainable in the long term. While I lifted, I saw around me both beginner, novice, intermediate and heavy lifters. One person was squatting 500 for one, while another was repping less than a plate. I would recommend this gym highly if you are someone who resonates with the above. If you have commitment issues, and needs a more personal touch to kick your ass if you start getting off track, I would say a more 1-1 personal trainer is probably ideal. But if you have the right commitment to show up a few times a week on schedule, and are looking for someone to level you up past plateaus in a safe, long term effective way, I highly recommend FullGrip Barbell and coach Mark.

All three class reservations were made in person at the studio, not through the app. Today, I arrived for what was supposed to be my third and final class. Upon arrival, Neijah informed me that I was not enrolled in the class. I responded, "That's fine, can you book me into the next class?" Neijah then told me that I had no remaining classes or points on my account and that I would need to purchase additional classes. I explained multiple times that today's class was my third and final class, and I asked her to review my account to verify that I had only attended two classes. After checking, she claimed that her system showed I had cancelled classes, missed classes, and therefore had no remaining classes available. She repeatedly told me that I needed to buy more classes. I explained at least four to six times that I had never cancelled any classes and that I had personally booked today's class at the studio after my previous session. I suggested that either the system or the employee who assisted me may have entered something incorrectly. Unfortunately, it felt as though Neijah was not listening to anything I was saying. Rather than investigating further, she simply continued repeating what the system showed. At no point did she attempt to look deeper into the issue, review the reservation history, determine who helped me make the booking, or otherwise investigate what may have happened. She showed no interest in resolving the situation. What made the experience even more frustrating was that I knew I had not attended a third class, had not cancelled any reservations, and had not even redeemed the complimentary shake that comes with completing the three-class package. None of that seemed to matter. Her response remained the same: "The system says you cancelled classes, had no-shows, and have no classes left. You need to buy more classes." The situation then escalated unnecessarily when she threatened to call the police if I did not leave the premises. At that point, I began recording the interaction to ensure there was an accurate record of what was being said. I asked why I was being told to leave when I was simply trying to explain the situation and seek a resolution. After returning home, I checked my email and discovered what had actually happened. My class was not scheduled for 7:15 a.m. as I believed--it was scheduled for 9:35 a.m. All Neijah needed to do was thoroughly review the reservation details in the system, and she would have seen that the class existed but was scheduled for a different time. Instead, I was subjected to an embarrassing and completely avoidable experience. I printed the email confirmation showing my 9:35 a.m. reservation and returned to the studio to provide proof. When I arrived, Neijah again told me to leave or she would call the police. I left the printed confirmation on the counter and departed. This occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. Then, at 9:09 a.m., I received an email notifying me that my 9:35 a.m. class had been cancelled. The entire situation was handled terribly from start to finish. A simple review of the reservation details could have resolved everything in minutes. Instead, I was repeatedly told to purchase more classes, treated as though I was at fault, threatened with police involvement, and ultimately denied the customer service and professionalism that should be expected. I have recordings of the interactions because I felt the situation was being misrepresented, and I am currently attempting to contact the owners or someone above Neijah in management to request a refund and formally address how this matter was handled.

This is finally the year I accept my ortho's advice (for the last 5 years) to move from high impact exercise to low impact. Pros of lagree: it's an excellent low impact workout routine. Spring resistance and time under tension is a different kind of training from what I was used to, but I felt my muscles were getting worked without impact on my joints. I no longer feel dull aches and pains post workout. More importantly, the time under tension workouts are intense enough to sometimes get the endorphins release like after heavy Olympic lifting sets. I was very surprised at first, this stuff isn't easy even for an experienced lifter. It works stuff that I've never worked on before. Cons of lagree: I feel like it doesn't train explosiveness. Not a criticism of lagree, it just isn't that kind of training. I do need that for my ski racing. This is where this studio shines relative to the lagree studios in the area. They have pull up bars, kettle bells (up to 40lbs), and wall balls. I've tried other studios and they only have reformer machines. I just do 10 minutes of explosive exercises with kettle bells and wall balls after the main workout, when I am already warmed up. It probably won't improve my explosiveness but I think it'll at least maintain it, and I can get it all done in an hour then move on to the rest of my day. I've only had one instructor called Lorene. She is excellent and meets the athlete where he or she is at. For someone relatively inexperienced she just tells them what to do. For someone with more experience she explains the intent of the movements and how we should feel so we can adjust and target correctly. That's the sign of a good instructor. Sometimes I am the only guy. Sometimes there are several guys. Nobody cares, everyone just wants to workout. If you are a guy don't let that deter you.

However, the elevator began malfunctioning with increasing frequency -- breaking down multiple times a month -- to the point where I was once stuck inside it. On other occasions, I made the trip to the gym only to be turned away because it was out of service. Since all the equipment I rely on is on the second floor, a broken elevator effectively meant no access for me. The real issue wasn't the maintenance failures -- it was how management handled them. After several days of trying to reach the club manager, I finally got him on the phone. I made a simple, reasonable request: could they notify me when the elevator was down so I wouldn't make an unnecessary trip? Without any hesitation, he told me this was a "liability" for them, cancelled my membership effective immediately, and hung up. No acknowledgment, no apology, no discussion. I understand that equipment breaks down. What I don't understand is treating a paying member's accessibility concern as something to be discarded rather than addressed.
