Any tips on parking? Where is the best place to park nearby, and is it free/paid? How much of a walk from parking to the training space in terms of time?

Thank you for asking, we are very lucky to have a fantastic parking situation with this club. It is located behind/on top of the club in a designated lot for the retail businesses. As you enter on Rollins Street into the Millbrae Station Center,… Read more

Everything went well until they charge me again 4 months later. I texted the owner about it, no replied. I called them back to back. It took them awhile to answer my call. I had to call my credit card to dispute the charge. There was a comment from a past customer saying if you get on the owner bad side she will terminated your account. She was right. All my remaining 35 + passes that I haven't use yet are no longer on my account. I have to take a loss. I feel like it a waste of time reaching out about it. I joined back in 2022 when I lived in San Bruno, and there was even a time when I was unemployed that I would come twice a day. This studio offers a huge variety of classes, and the instructors are truly the best - so passionate, knowledgeable, and motivating. I've also gotten to know the owner, Leila, and I have the utmost respect for her for creating such a welcoming, community-centered space. She's always open to feedback and is constantly looking for ways to elevate the experience and make sure members are really getting their money's worth. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone who wants to be challenged, build strength, and find a supportive community. With so many different class styles, there's truly something for everyone!

When they opened the San Mateo location, we were super stoked! Pros of this location: - Free parking! - Overflow room for busy weekends My SO and I have different opinions on if the room shape at SM is more beneficial than the BG location. Truthfully, I was scared and babying my knee, and I started to gain weight. I joined ClassPass to try out different studios and gyms. I had actually tried Basecamp back when it first opened in Burlingame, and it terrified me--but I decided to give it a second chance, and I'm so glad I did. I took my first few classes through ClassPass and eventually decided that when my membership ended, I was going to sign up and become a member. Wendy was amazing at explaining everything thoroughly, and everyone there is so welcoming. They even knew my name before I knew theirs--it kind of felt like Cheers: "Where everybody knows your name" (lol). Every single coach I've interacted with or taken a class has been nothing short of amazing. Jerileen, Lacey, Alicia, and Angeline: they'll never know how much they've motivated me and how much of an impact they've had on my health, fitness, and recovery. I'm so glad I joined--and you should too. I've also taken a class at the Burlingame location, which I loved as well. They were just as nice. It just happens that the San Mateo location is on my way home or to work, and I really like the vibe and how welcoming it I am down 10 pounds since I've joined my biggest advice don't feel overwhelmed become friends with your neighbor or your partner and they can guide you. Everybody's pretty nice.

The programming is excellent, the team is great, and the community is one of the best around! The coaches do a great job of challenging you, encouraging you, and making sure you are lifting/moving with proper form - even in a large group setting. You can tell that the team genuinely cares about the community and are passionate about what they do. The studio is large, spacious, clean and well maintained. With a long history in fitness, I've been really able to build muscle and achieve my fitness goals over the past 2 years, all thanks to the team at F45 Burlingame.

The model of having the screens showing the exercises, the demo from the instructors at the beginning, and their coaching during the class make this a worthwhile exercise. While the routines here don't feel as intense as the Burkingame location, you absolutely will get a workout. And any class with Dionne or JR will be a great time. Showers, changing rooms, 2 bathrooms, water filling station, lockers (bring your own locks) all available. San Bruno parking has an awful system and aggressive enforcement, so don't forget to pay.

F45 gives me a great mix of similar HIIT-style workouts, but in a more fun, community-driven, and cost-effective format. I love that there are separate cardio and strength days--it keeps things balanced and never boring. Compared to OTF, F45 feels more well-rounded. I do sometimes miss machines, so I'll take a day or two to hit the gym, but F45 is my main workout. This location is conveniently located close to 280/101. It's spacious, clean, the equipment is well maintained and the coaches are always upbeat and supportive. The unlimited pass is also flexible and lets you visit other studios which is convenient when I'm running late from work or traveling. I've checked out F45 in SF, San Mateo, Burlingame, Pittsburgh, and Newport Beach Highly recommend if you want variety, structure, and a strong fitness community.

My schedule can get busy, and having the flexibility to book sessions whenever it works for me has made it so much easier to stay consistent. The concept of infrared sauna workouts is something you truly have to experience to understand. You're in a private sauna room choosing from multiple guided sessions, everything from yoga and Pilates to high-intensity interval training (HIIT). No matter which workout I choose, I leave drenched in sweat but in the best way possible. What really stands out is how I feel afterward. Instead of feeling completely drained like some traditional workouts, I feel relaxed, lighter, and almost reset. The infrared heat helps reduce soreness, speeds up recovery, and gives you that detox feeling that makes your body feel refreshed from the inside out. It's the perfect combination of intense and therapeutic. Now let me talk about Neil L. phenomenal doesn't even begin to describe him. He took the time to personally show us around, explain how each session works, and break down how to maximize results. He wasn't just giving a tour; he was educating us. He shared tips on how to structure workouts, how to stay consistent, and how to really push ourselves while still listening to our bodies. His encouragement genuinely motivates you to try your best. What I also appreciated was how knowledgeable he is about their products. He doesn't "sell" you he explains how everything supports your goals. From supplements to recovery tools, he connects it all back to performance and consistency, which honestly makes you want to invest in yourself and keep showing up. The atmosphere at HOTWORX Belmont is clean, modern, and empowering. You feel like you're part of something focused on growth and wellness. If you're looking for a workout that makes you sweat, detox, recover faster, and actually feel good afterward this is it. Highly recommend HOTWORX Belmont and especially Neil L. for the outstanding customer care and support!

Basecamp Burlingame is the first Basecamp studio I tried. There are 3 locations in the…read morePeninsula--Burlingame, San Mateo, and Milbrae-- though ownership for Burlingame is corporate and San Mateo/Milbrae are franchised so membership pricing between locations are slightly different. The Burlingame studio size is slightly bigger than the Milbrae location but has no windows so it gives more of a dark room with pulsing music, Barry's type of vibe. As with Barry's workouts, the music can get pretty loud (my Apple Watch always gives me the noise decibel warning) so I would recommend earplugs. Ownership aside, the workouts are consistent throughout the different studios. The format of the workouts alternate between assault biking and floor exercises (which can be strength movements using barbells, dumbbells, or kettlebells, or more plyometric/cardio focused movements) for 35 minutes, followed by a short core workout and stretches at the end. The fast pace of the intervals and switching between the bikes and the floor can be a little chaotic at first, but after you've taken a class it's pretty easy to follow. I think it's a great format for those who want a good balance of cardio and strength training in every workout. If you want extra butt kicking, I recommend taking Coach Euni's classes. Your legs and abs will be crying after her bike pushes and core exercises, but I love it! A few things to note about the Burlingame studio: -It seems to be the most popular so there are the most class time options but classes fill up quick. If you want to sign up for the weekday early morning ones, you usually have to do it a week in advance when they open (though if you waitlist, you do usually make it off the waitlist). -Because the classes are so full, the studio can feel crowded, especially during transitions as you are trying to grab/rerack weights or dodge people to get to/from your bike. -The popular class times (weekday early mornings, many weekend classes) are blacked out for ClassPass registration. -It's in downtown Burlingame so parking is a B unless you're taking one of the early weekday classes. If you're going for a weekday PM class or weekend 8:15 or later class, good luck and factor in parking time.
