This place is such a cool concept! My friends and I decided to get cute and try out Venezia Wine Veranda, and we are so happy that we did. The place is beautifully decorated, the service is amazing and there are all types of wine for everyone. Basically how it works is you get a card with a minimum of $30, place your card in the slot of the wine you are interested in trying, and go explore lol. You have option to choose a taste, half glass or full glass. Our waitress Stephanie was so attentive and knowledgeable- she gave recommendations and basically anticipated our every need. My tapas (bruschetta and hummus) were delicious but my friend who ordered the slider said it was "okay", she mentioned something was "lacking". I ordered the wild berry sorbet and it was immaculate! It had smooth and wonderful taste. This place is perfect for couples, friends, or even families are looking to expand their wine palette while enjoying a luxurious setting.

Very cute spot - Love the vibe here! I came here with my fiancé to celebrate one year till our wedding date and had a great experience! We did the wine tasting which included 6 different wines and a little cheese and cracker board. This was a fun time! Our waitress was so friendly and was very informative about the wines we were drinking. We also met some great people too! We ordered a few tapas as well- all of which were delicious!! Afterwards, we wanted to try the other wines they have so we bought a wine card to use at the dispensers! Similar to a vending machine, you put the wine card in and push a button to dispense the wine. You have the option to have a taste, half glass or full glass! And they have different prices points depending on the wine you choose. I have never seen a wine bar like this before and love how different it is! I definitely recommend if you are looking for a good time!

This was a great addition to the area! I went here for the first time yesterday and was impressed. Upon arrival, we were instantly greeted and taken to a seat of our preference which was out on their upstairs balcony. Along the way, I admired their beautiful decor and feel. On your first visit, you purchase a $30 wine card and you are able to go around to multiple machines to put out tastes, half glass and full glass of wine. Once you purchase this minimum, you can keep your card and refill with however much you want to refill with. As for the food, it's a tapas or small plates restaurant. So it's good to grab a few small plates to share with the table. But all was tasty especially the Mac and cheese. Lastly, our waiter was great! Fun to talk to, great service and great recommendations. This place is a must visit!

This was our first visit to this fairly new neighborhood establishment. For a Friday early evening, seating was fairly easy. We sat at the indoor dining room. JT, our server, was very helpful and patiently answered all our questions and made suggestions. The food is very good. We tried a few of the Weekend Features including the Octopus Tostada, Charred Key West Pink Shrimp, and Warm Lamb Merquez Sausage. Everything was fresh and delicious. In my opinion, the lamb sausage is an acquired taste, but my husband loved it. We'll be back. Trying this variety of wines is like going on an adventure. We like adventures!

Excellent selection of wines with self pour options. We started with the bacon wrapped dates with blue cheese. It was absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of cheese and good bacon. We then ordered a small charcuterie board that came with fermented veggies. The quality of the meat and cheese were excellent. All in all, service was excellent. They are gluten free friendly and can accommodate without any issues. We look forward to returning for dinner next time.

Don't order the so called lobster roll. You will hurt your eyes trying to find the lobster in the hot-dog bun

I had the bbq chicken dinner with cole slaw and Mac and Cheese. A good portion for an individual, not quite enough to share. The Mac wasn't runny or heavy with great flavor. The cole slaw was great. It's got some great theming with TV shows and music, but it also has some problems. First off, it's not a brewery. They have bottled beer and one craft beer. Not even a tap system. Decent selections of wine though. They don't have old-school video games. They have a large emulation system that charges way too much money and takes forever to find your favorite games. There was stuff all over the floor when I visited. I know the owners were going for a "party" atmosphere, but someone could easily slip and hurt themselves. Finally, they were charging top-dollar for little toys, like $5 for a mini Rubik's Cube. The slap bracelets were cool, but that's about it. Back To the 80's has some promise, but they need to actually be a brewery to live up to their name. Imagine the inspired beers you could make here.

We brought our wine glasses out back, sat on Adirondack chairs, & watched the sunset. It could either be romantic or a great party spot. The site also had multiple event spaces, including a speakeasy! You open a mirror & a beautifully decorated large room with sunlight pouring in was there. They had events such a karaoke there regularly. The main wine bar is eco conscious. Many wines were on tap to save on glass bottles. Their bottled wine also consciously use less glass, but still have enough to preserve the flavors of the wines. I personally loved the violet delight red blend. It has a grape in it that was previously thought to be extinct! The winery is picky about how their grapes are sourced as well to fit into their eco views. They had another red based off a doggo, but I forgot the name. It was my second favorite. I highly recommend starting with a flight. The staff is very confidently knowledgeable & an overall blast to be around. They also have charcuterie boards & PeterBrooke chocolates available for purchase. The owner stopped by to say a friendly hi. It felt like anyone who entered instantly became a friend. Their wines will still be sold in other locations, & the processing location is still there.

THIS PLACE IS NOT CLOSED. IT JUST MOVED UPSTAIRS…read more I hope you're ready to read a dissertation, cuz I have a lot to write. lol. This past weekend we got to enjoy a really delicious and fun evening at the East End Market for our friend's birthday. La Femme du Fromage Upstairs is a private dining experience on the second floor of the popular East End Market, just above Domu. Dining here is by reservation only, so make sure to plan ahead. We had a group of 12 people, which was the max capacity this place can hold. This is a personalized dinner and wine pairing curated by the owner of La Femme, Tonda. She and her team took great care of feeding and entertaining us for a little over the 3 hours that we were there. The food was excellently prepared by Chef Dale and our table service was handled by Rob, who made sure our wines and drinks were always filled throughout the evening. Tonda is an expert in wines and cheeses, with over 30 years in the industry, traveling the world to learn the intricacies of both. Every course she brought out, she explained the history of the wine that was paired with it. Every cheese we tried, she explained what animal it was from and how it's prepared. She's such a burst of energy as well. You can really tell she loves what she does. Our first course (which I sadly forgot to take a picture of because I immediately inhaled it all) was a Brie fondue that was infused with champagne, shallots, garlic, and was topped with crab meat. Served with sides of roasted cauliflower, roasted carrots, apple slices, and a tasty crusty bread. (I cant for the life of me, remember what type it was) This dish was paired with a glass of Simonet Blanc de Blancs, a sparkling white wine. Every time I emptied my glass, Rob was nearby to immediately refill it. It was awesome! Our second course was a charcuterie plate of 3 cheeses, fresh blueberries and grapes, and wagyu beef salami. The first cheese presented was a soft spreadable sheep's cheese that was infused with truffle. It was earthy and nutty, and I was blown away by how velvety it was. The second cheese (and my personal favorite) was a coffee infused cow's cheese. I loved it so much that I also purchased a small block of it from Tonda at the end of the evening! The third cheese, if I remember correctly, was a hard goat cheese that was nutty and had a really cool texture when eating. The wagyu beef salami was amazing and paired really well with every cheese. All this was paired with a glass of Mommessin Beaujolais Villages, a fruity red wine. And of course, Rob was always ready to swing by and refill my glass when needed! The third course was a beef tenderloin, served with a side of asparagus and aligot, all topped with a delicious gravy. The beef was super tender, the asparagus still had a nice bite to it, and this was also my first time trying aligot. If you don't know what it is, it's a VERY cheesy mashed potato, and it's AWESOME! lol. This dish was paired with a glass of El Enemigo Malbec, a darker red wine from Mendoza. And yet again, my boy Rob was on deck to keep it coming! (I'm gonna shout out every chance I get) Finally for dessert, we had little vanilla and lemon shortcakes, topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. The cakes were moist and buttery and the strawberries were bright and lightly tart. The dessert was paired with a glass of Vietti Moscato d'Asti, a sweet sparkling white wine. This sweet wine was PERFECT for the sweet spongey cake. It was an absolutely delicious pairing. (And you already know Rob was getting the refill in) For anyone crazy enough to actually read all this. I hope you have the chance to go out and enjoy this place sometime. Tonda has a really special little spot here, and it deserves all the praise it gets. Chef Dale is a master of his craft, the food was amazing. And Rob is a damn good server who made sure we were always well taken care of. We will definitely be back soon, Tonda. Thank you for an awesome evening!
