Clare was wonderful working with to set up an appointment and to find out their carpet cleaning/tile cleaning process. Doug and his son Doug came to the house to do the job. They were great with my two pups! They did a great job on all our carpets and our entire kitchen tile floor! The carpets dried in a very reasonable amount of time and they look and feel so clean! Please call Classic American Steam for all of your carpet/floor cleaning needs! Thank you Clare and Doug!

Was hoping to get a quote for a hoarded living situation for my good friend. The man from the get go gave me a strange feeling and his demeanor felt positive on the outside up until the point of which he stepped outside to take a call. My daughter informed me the man was next to the car window of my daughter's car loudly talking very hastily about the living situation and the contents of the house. Multiple times complaining about the state of my friend who was with me and her disabled veteran husband. My good friend recommended me this Company and i usually don't like to leave long or negative reviews but my experience with the man was so negative. The only reason i'm giving this two stars is because the woman was gracious enough to call me back and to be completely respectful the entire time even after learning what had happened.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION - RUN FROM THIS COMPANY…read more After receiving a bill for over $6000.00 for less than 4 days of fans running in my home 50% of the time, I called to speak with the owner to inquire about the outrageous charges on the bill and charges for unauthorized work performed by her employees, she said she would look into it. Well instead of looking into it, she just emailed me her husbands phone number and said I should talk to him because she wasn't there? I spoke with the husband for about 2 unreasonable minutes, that was a total waste of 2 minutes. Might as well been trying to talk to a wall. Just asked him to revisit the bill and to work with me on this. He refused even though they did work they were not authorized to do and charged for equipment that was not in operation 50% of the time. Overall talk about taking advantage of people. After a water pipe burst and basically flooded the first floor of our home, ruining all wood flooring (4 rooms), tile floors and kitchen cabinets. We contacted a local contractor to help with this devastating and horrifying situation. The contractor removed all visible water from all the floors and the better part of all baseboards effected. Problem #2 We're in the process of selling the home and it's under contract with Buyer. About 3 days into this disaster, we were unfortunately referred to Restoration 1 by our Insurance Adjuster, he felt the home wasn't drying fast enough. We contacted Restoration 1, they responded on the same day. When they arrived, they had me sign documents that was basically held them harmless of any/all responsibility which is understandable when dealing with water, problem was I practically had to beg to get a copy of what I signed, even the Insurance Adjustor requested them twice for me. They don't give you copies of what you sign while they are there. I immediately explained to their employee that I already had a contractor and he would be available to remove any part of the structure that they needed to have removed in order to get the place dry. Well that wasn't well excepted! I made it perfectly clear they are only authorized to remove any remaining baseboards and sheetrock as necessary. They seemed upset that I already had a contractor and the contractor would be doing all the demo. At this point, they kept telling me what they would be able to do, I had to keep telling them "I have a contractor"! It was a very uncomfortable situation. I left and they brought in their equipment, when I returned the next day, they had removed doors and door jams. When asked who authorized them to do this and why they did that, they just said they needed to because they were damaged. Just total disregard for the direction I clearly provided to them. I ask where the door jam were and to return them back to my house. They never did and had multiple excuses. First they said they left them in the garage and they don't understand where they went, then it was we threw them away already and cannot not return them. 50% of the time, the equipment was not in use or stacked in the garage or in a corner somewhere, because the contractor was working in the house. Their bill says the equipment was monitored and in operation, well that wasn't exactly the truth. They had also taped and wrapped plastic around the back of the damaged kitchen cabinet, with no fans blowing in that area (one of the main places water soaked). I do believe plastic normally retains moisture and doesn't allow the area to dry (Thats where they would do their moisture test to show their services were still required and it wasn't ever going to dry.) During one of their visits to the house, their employee had a conversation with the Buyer that is purchasing our home. I was informed by the Buyers Realtor that she couldn't believe what the Restoration 1 employee was telling the buyer about the status of the moisture level in the house and was scaring her to death about mold. This almost cost us the sale of the house and it took quite a bit to convince the Buyer there was no problem with mold in this home. There is absolutely no reason for their employee to be providing private information about my house with anyone other than their contracted client. Needless to say, I asked them to remove their equipment and I had to ask multiple times, they threaten me by stating "They would not provide a certificate that the house was dry and moisture free to my insurance company and insurance adjuster". I felt like they were trying to hold me hostage to keep their equipment onsite for as long as possible. I WOULD DO MINUS STARS FOR RESTORATION 1 IF POSSIBLE!

I was very pleased with the outcome in having Restoration 1 of Conroe do the work on my home…read more An older home, ca. 1980, the plumbing is largely galvanized steel. It developed pin hole leaks, apparently a common occurrence at its age. Fortunately, the major damage was to the garage. Upon inspection, there were issues with the horizontal hot water runs for both the ground and second floor. I had a plumber replace all of that with PEX, which left the sheet rock repair. I had 3 estimates with Restoration 1 coming in at the best price. Shain Mann, the owner, was present each day, ensured quality work and protection of contents throughout the job and was very pleasant to work with. He pointed out some minor mold issues that he corrected along the way. The quality of the sheet rock work and painting was excellent. This included ceilings with texture matching, walls with texture and paint matching, etc. Very nice. I encourage anyone looking for recovery from water damage to check these guys out. My only caution applies to all such service providers: they like the insurance jobs where they can tack on high margin items without challenge from the insurance company. Take the time to closely review each line item of your estimate if you are paying your own way - it can save you $500-800.

Please read this entire review. The quality of work was astronomically shoddy and horrendous. I…read morehad to hire a separate company (for an additional $4,500 after spending over $35,000+ on my master bathroom) to fix the shower floor that was NOT graded properly. Entrusted acknowledged that it was not graded properly. HORRIBLE WORK AND THEY WILL DRAIN YOU FINANCIALLY WHILE KNOWINGLY LEAVING WITH YOUR HOME IN IMPERFECT CONDITION. I had two claims at one time: 1). Kitchen pipe burst on 1/2/2025 (Total Paid = $15,000+) and 2) the drain pan failed in the Master Bathroom (Total Paid = $40,000+). MASTER BATHROOM: January 3, 2025, the drain pain failed in the shower due to improper grading and needed to be totally reconstructed. Full Disclosure: I did modify the original design to close up the existing shower and build a dual shower after removal of the bathtub. I extended the closet into the old existing shower (many unneeded or undone items were included in insurance estimate/Entrusted expected payment). ALL IN ALL, THE PRICE FOR A SIMPLE BATHROOM REPAIR TOTALED: $40,000.00+. (See details and pictures below) The insurance company paid Entrusted $3,158.20 for mitigation services in the Master Bathroom. The insurance company estimated $20,218.39 to put everything back in order prior to the drain pan failure, including plumbing, wallpaper, shower doors, material, etc. I signed the Change Order Contract that indicated that IF this change order requires additional cost to Contractor THEN the Owner shall pay an additional $8,900. This should never have occurred as I paid for all plumbing and equipment. The Contractor never should have had to pay additional cost since I fully paid for plumbing and materials that were included in the insurance estimate. (Note: In fairness, I did receive NOMINAL credit for a few of these items towards the changes that I had requested.). This amount, plus the nominal credit, was the full amount expected as payment to Entrusted. Totaling $23,843.99 for reconstruction, $3,158.20 for mitigation, over $6,000 in plumbing costs and approximately $2,500 in materials for the master bathroom. The ICING: I paid an additional $4,500 (to a reputable and highly recommended company) to regrade the shower floor to prevent the drain pan from failing a second time and to remain balanced while in the shower. The bathroom is shoddy work (at best) and the process was a nightmare. For example, the closed up shower wall did not meet the base board by several inches. Entrusted started about midway down the wall and puttied the drywall to meet the base board. (See picture below) The paint is splitting in the corners of the rooms. The drain was not centered. The pipe was crooked under the drain and had to be straightened upon regrading the shower by the newly hired contractor. Entrusted graded and sloped the new shower inconsistently and hilly from one side of the shower to the other, preventing water from draining - and ultimately the drain pan would likely fail again. It was noted and remarked that the flooring was hilly and could be visibly seen to not contain the appropriate grading/sloping. The "sub-contractor" that performed the work in the shower promised a 20 year warranty in an attempt to appease me on the potential drain pan failure that would surely occur. No warranty provided, the "sub-contractor" works for Entrusted and Entrusted provides only the one-year statutory warranty. They would not provide a written warranty or the names of their "sub-contractors". They also would not provide a lien release from their sub-contractors indicating they received full payment so that if they were not paid, they could not place a lien on the house for payments already paid to Entrusted for their work. On May 7, 2025, the "GM" that supposedly came out admitted the sub-contractors only worked for Entrusted. KITCHEN: The insurance company paid Entrusted $3,622.38 for mitigation services for the Kitchen. I paid Entrusted (outside of the mitigation) $11,813.52 to put the kitchen back in place with "custom cabinetry, rebuild a "custom" cabinet in the garage where water leaked, repaint and replace the backsplash (labor only). Total: $15,435.90. Contract called for custom cabinets, which in Entrusted language means to use the old, dented and chipped wood to put items back in place. Although $6,548.87 in the above amount consisted of custom cabinetry, This was brough to the attention of Entrusted. They always use the original wood. So, this is not custom cabinetry and the estimate was outrageous. COMPLETION: MAY 7, 2025. REQUESTED GM BE PRESENT TO DISCUSS ALL THE FAILINGS ON THIS JOB. A GENTLEMAN SHOWED UP - NOT GM. ADMITTED ERRORS - WAS NOT GOING TO FIX. THEY CLAIM TO BE BBB ACCREDITED BUSINESS. ENTRUSTED RESTORATION IS NOT LISTED AT THE BBB IN TEXAS - ONLY FLORIDA.
