I'm the type of person that when something needs to be repaired I do it myself. The reason I do it myself is because I have always been a perfectionist. Recently in a time of my life that I was already extremely busy we had a storm come through and did considerable damage to my home and property. I needed a new roof and decking in some locations, sheet rock work on the ceiling where it had collapsed in, and a new wooden fence. While discussing the damages with my neighbor she told me she was going to call a friend of hers that she had gone to school with and see if they would work on her damage. I asked her if she could send him over to look at mine as well. The Name of the company is Roof 1 Construction from Tomball. After three others and come out I decided to go with Roof 1. The decision was perfect. Not only did this company show up on time every time they said they would be there, would call and remind me that they were on the way. The work that they did on my sheet rock on the ceiling was impeccable and not only did they fix it you can't even tell that there had ever been an issue. When it came time for the roof the workers that showed up were very careful with my shrubs and my swimming pool to make sure nothing got damaged. They did it in a very timely manner and the roof looks great. The next day after the roof was finished my wife and I could hear something whistling. We called Roof 1 and they had two guys out at the house that same day looking for what was causing the was whistling. They found the issue and resolve it. A couple of days after the roofing had been complete a came out and remove all the old damaged wooden fencing and put up a new fence that is a whole lot stronger than the old one was when it was brand-new. Being one who does not want anyone to do work for me I must say I have never been happier with a company then I am with Roof 1. Thank you Roof 1 Construction for making a stressful situation stress-free - That's priceless! After the frequent storms lately I started noticing a musty smell in our house. After about a week, during one of the heavier storms we spotted water dripping from a vent. At first I thought it was going to be an a/c issue but upon further investigation found our roof to be leaking - the house is only 7 years old! There is never a good time for home repairs but for other reasons this was especially bad timing. Thankfully, a friend had used this company before and made the recommendation. First, I was impressed by Scott, the gentleman who responded to my call and came out to the house. He responded quickly, even though it was late on a Friday. He followed up promptly as he said he would, took the time to thoroughly investigate rather than making assumptions and then carefully explained what he found - showing me photos of the problem areas and explaining the cause and necessary fix. What stands out above all else is how honest this man is. I don't know the first or last thing about roofs. Sure, if he tried to sell me a new whole new one, or a big costly repair I might have looked around for a second opinion. But the point is, I didn't have to because he was honest in the first place. It turned out the issue was rather simple to fix and even better it didn't cost me an arm and a leg! Plus I'm now aware of the fact that roof maintenance is a thing. When our home suffered hail damage, I searched the Better Business Bureau website for Roof Repair in our area.  I wanted a BBB Accredited local company with an A+ rating with enough ratings to show they have been around and done significant business.  I sent out quote requests to my top five searches, setting on Roof 1.  After a series of interviews, I selected Roof 1 based on a conversation with their office manager.  Their knowledge of roofing, the insurance claim process, and friendly staff made the decision easy. The work was scheduled and completed very quickly and efficiently.  There team was amazing to watch work.  Before they had left, we noticed the AC was not cooling.  After some basic trouble shooting, I called the owner who assured me if they were responsible they would take care of it.  He called in a third party repairman who diagnosed and repaired the AC that same Saturday afternoon.  During the roof repair, a wire was damaged on the outside unit.  I only bring this up as accidents happen, and Roof 1 took care of the repair the same day with no extra charge.  I recommended them to my neighbors and highly recommend them to you. read more

I did not go with Roof 1 for my roof replacement due to going in a different direction but wanted to comment on the service amd quote experience They were quick to come out and look at my roof the morning after i called. Brandon was very professional, kind, and friendly. He made a quick assessment and said i should get an email with a quote later that day. It was Saturday so i wasn't monitoring my email that evening and didn't realize i didn't get the quote. I received a text from Brandon stating he had a family emergency and did not want me to think he had just not sent the quote. If i would have gone with a conventional roof replacement i would have definitely used Roof 1. Letting a customer know you haven't fogotten about them even during a family emergency goes above and beyond in my book. Scott and his crew did phenomenally well! Scott was responsive and communicative through the whole process. In addition, we called him during a high demand period due to the storms that caused damage in a lot of Houston. He was still quick to respond. We promptly scheduled an appointment once we got the insurance figured out but the weather didn't cooperate with us. Scott quickly found an alternative day that worked for us. On the day of the replacement, he told me the crew would arrive at 6:30 and he would arrive at 9:30. The crew was incredibly punctual... They were there right at 6:30 and Scott came right before 9:30. Scott kept us informed throughout the whole process and gave us updates and pictures from beginning to end. Roof 1 has helped me replace three roofs due to hail damage over the last several years. The service in the beginning was excellent and it only continues to get better. Scott and his team make the insurance & construction process simple and stress free. This past week they roofed both my home and rent house in one day. The following day the gutters were completed. Scott & his crew with Roof 1 Construction did a great job for us! They arrived at 6 am ready to go ~ Removed shingles and rotten wood and installed the new underlay/decking, tar strips and eaves over the drip edges~ all in 30mph winds with a storm coming in off the lake. We had some debris fly into neighboring yard due to the high winds and the crew was very polite and cleaned everything up. They completed the job by 6:30 pm leaving the entire area (front yard & back pool) clean with no "evidence" left behind. The roof is beautiful and looks fantastic matching the aesthetics of our home. Our neighborhood was recently hit by hail storms, there we so many roofing company reps in our area lookig to earn our business. Working with Roof 1 has been a great experience. The roofing crew as out early and did an amazing job! Brandon Worrell our neighborhood rep was a gentleman not pushy. I saw him at every job site making sure everything went without issues. He came back afterwards and made sure the job site was clean, free of debris and the dreaded roofing nails. As a realtor, I have seen numerous roofs over the years. There's good installed roofs, and there is really bad installed roofs. When a hurricane comes a lot of fly by the night companies pop-up, a lot of them are from other states. I see the roofs that they have done a year or two later that are falling apart.
