UPDATE- July 2026: after seeing my original posted review below, a representative reached out and spoke with my husband to get more info. We informed the rep that our handyman had accurately diagnosed the problem which was really with our dishwasher (which Entrusted never checked for a leak and was why the moisture readings kept staying high), and we had our handyman complete all the work for us. Since Entrusted did not accurately diagnose the leak problem, they offered to reimburse us 90% of our fee we had paid. I appreciate their decision to make this right. We had plumbers come out to fix a water leak when we noticed our hardwood floors began to buckle by our kitchen sink. Our plumbers (Texas Quality Plumbing) did an amazing job addressing the water leak issue, and they recommended we contact Entrusted to do mold abatement and to fix the flooring issue by removing damaged pieces to get a look at the subfloor, plus we were told they can also do the repairs/renovation after the mold abatement. (We have already reached out to Texas Quality Plumbing to inform them they should NOT recommend this company to its clients.) First, Entrusted reps came out to look at the issue and then we scheduled them 2 weeks later to begin. The quote was very high (over $2,000). They did NOT show up for their appointment time. I had to call them to find out why they hadn't arrived, and I was told there was a mix-up, and we are so sorry, and we will get you on our schedule ASAP. When they did arrive, two young men (one looked like he was in high school) began ripping up hardwood boards in my kitchen to get a look at what was underneath. They left two large de-humidifiers for us to run for a week to help dry out the moisture and they sprayed some "mold treatment" to the area. The next week, they showed up to take moisture readings again. They did not show me the readings - he just said, "Yeah, that's still 100% moisture levels." I had to pay the remainder of the 1st quote at this time. Then he took the de-humidifiers and said that their renovation team would be sending a quote to us for repairing the subfloor and replacing the hardwoods that were damaged. This was Wed. May 18th. After NOT hearing back from them for a few days, I emailed Jason Roy at Entrusted on May 20th to inform him we were waiting for their second quote for repairs/renovations. No response. I emailed ANOTHER follow up on May 25th. Again, nothing. Then I called and spoke with their receptionist on May 28th to alert them to how frustrating it has been that no one will contact us. The company is primarily focused on scamming the insurance company by using the customer to be complicit in inflating damage claims that exceed the deductible amount. Their goal is to profit at least 2000 or more per job even if the job is only at most a 100 dollar job. They did this with me and when I chose to not participate in defrauding my insurance company they consistently came after me to still pay the 2000. The fraud was that the hole was not 100s of sq ft but less than 1 and the hole to be repaired was from damage two years prior. They are still calling me and asking for 2000 and have never sent me a bill for the mitigation work that they actually did just an insurance invoice that of course equaled 2000 dollars. read more

This review references work from this company in 2022. We had a water leak on the second floor of our home and entrusted was one of the companies our insurance company recommended. That said, I wish we'd gotten quotes from others and repairs done by another company. Long story short, entrusted's tradesmen are not the best. Time in our daughter's bathroom had to be repaired only ays after being installed. Further, Brandon, project manager, didn't seem too concerned about quality, rather just another job for the company to profit from, and the bathroom is still a mess. We'll get it renovated properly in the near future, but this company is no good. read more

Please read this entire review. The quality of work was astronomically shoddy and horrendous. I had to hire a separate company (for an additional $4,500 after spending over $35,000+ on my master bathroom) to fix the shower floor that was NOT graded properly. Entrusted acknowledged that it was not graded properly. HORRIBLE WORK AND THEY WILL DRAIN YOU FINANCIALLY WHILE KNOWINGLY LEAVING WITH YOUR HOME IN IMPERFECT CONDITION. I had two claims at one time: 1). Kitchen pipe burst on 1/2/2025 (Total Paid = $15,000+) and 2) the drain pan failed in the Master Bathroom (Total Paid = $40,000+). MASTER BATHROOM: January 3, 2025, the drain pain failed in the shower due to improper grading and needed to be totally reconstructed. Full Disclosure: I did modify the original design to close up the existing shower and build a dual shower after removal of the bathtub. I extended the closet into the old existing shower (many unneeded or undone items were included in insurance estimate/Entrusted expected payment). ALL IN ALL, THE PRICE FOR A SIMPLE BATHROOM REPAIR TOTALED: $40,000.00+. (See details and pictures below) The insurance company paid Entrusted $3,158.20 for mitigation services in the Master Bathroom. The insurance company estimated $20,218.39 to put everything back in order prior to the drain pan failure, including plumbing, wallpaper, shower doors, material, etc. I signed the Change Order Contract that indicated that IF this change order requires additional cost to Contractor THEN the Owner shall pay an additional $8,900. This should never have occurred as I paid for all plumbing and equipment. The Contractor never should have had to pay additional cost since I fully paid for plumbing and materials that were included in the insurance estimate. (Note: In fairness, I did receive NOMINAL credit for a few of these items towards the changes that I had requested.). This amount, plus the nominal credit, was the full amount expected as payment to Entrusted. Totaling $23,843.99 for reconstruction, $3,158.20 for mitigation, over $6,000 in plumbing costs and approximately $2,500 in materials for the master bathroom. The ICING: I paid an additional $4,500 (to a reputable and highly recommended company) to regrade the shower floor to prevent the drain pan from failing a second time and to remain balanced while in the shower. The bathroom is shoddy work (at best) and the process was a nightmare. For example, the closed up shower wall did not meet the base board by several inches. Entrusted started about midway down the wall and puttied the drywall to meet the base board. (See picture below) The paint is splitting in the corners of the rooms. The drain was not centered. The pipe was crooked under the drain and had to be straightened upon regrading the shower by the newly hired contractor. Entrusted graded and sloped the new shower inconsistently and hilly from one side of the shower to the other, preventing water from draining - and ultimately the drain pan would likely fail again. It was noted and remarked that the flooring was hilly and could be visibly seen to not contain the appropriate grading/sloping. The "sub-contractor" that performed the work in the shower promised a 20 year warranty in an attempt to appease me on the potential drain pan failure that would surely occur. No warranty provided, the "sub-contractor" works for Entrusted and Entrusted provides only the one-year statutory warranty. They would not provide a written warranty or the names of their "sub-contractors". They also would not provide a lien release from their sub-contractors indicating they received full payment so that if they were not paid, they could not place a lien on the house for payments already paid to Entrusted for their work. On May 7, 2025, the "GM" that supposedly came out admitted the sub-contractors only worked for Entrusted. KITCHEN: The insurance company paid Entrusted $3,622.38 for mitigation services for the Kitchen. I paid Entrusted (outside of the mitigation) $11,813.52 to put the kitchen back in place with "custom cabinetry, rebuild a "custom" cabinet in the garage where water leaked, repaint and replace the backsplash (labor only). Total: $15,435.90. Contract called for custom cabinets, which in Entrusted language means to use the old, dented and chipped wood to put items back in place. Although $6,548.87 in the above amount consisted of custom cabinetry, This was brough to the attention of Entrusted. They always use the original wood. So, this is not custom cabinetry and the estimate was outrageous. COMPLETION: MAY 7, 2025. REQUESTED GM BE PRESENT TO DISCUSS ALL THE FAILINGS ON THIS JOB. A GENTLEMAN SHOWED UP - NOT GM. I was referred to this company by a call from John and Moore services. They came out to check for a water leak but ended up just playing around with my house without actually finding the issue. They couldn't resolve the problem and were not willing to work with my home insurance. Instead, they sent the bill to collections for an unreasonable charge. Had water damage in the kitchen. Initially the company was very accommodating. Then they came up with a ridiculous quote for the insurance company and was unwilling to work with the amount that the insurance allowed. I understand wanting to get as much as possible from the insurance but a 17,000$ quote for one partial cabinet, one granite counter top and some drywall/trim is crazy. After 2 months, I ended up paying the fee to terminate the contract and hired my own contractor. read more

Texas Entrusted adventure started off very dramatically. In June Entrusted was called out for a leak that was found in my mother-in-law's closet. When evaluating the damage they declared it an emergency to come out and get started on repairing the damage and water restoration. Being declared an emergency someone had to come out at 10 PM to take down sheetrock to start this process for the plumber the next day. While removing the sheetrock a water pipe that was "not shut off" prior to starting work, started pouring water into the house. At this time it was midnight and my 76 yo mother-in-law and the young man that was there for the emergency removal are now running around, trying to find a shut off valve to the house. The whole time water is spewing throughout the household, instead of being just in the closet/bathroom now has involved the entire house with flooding. Why wasn't the water shut off beforehand? My MIL and the worker stayed until 3 am cleaning up the water. The next morning Entrusted showed up while my MIL was outback and as they came in the house, it was flooded AGAIN! The worker from the night before DID NOT shut off the water, a bucket was placed under the burst pipe and must have shifted causing the second flooding of the house the next morning!!! Entrusted water restoration contacted us the next day and said that everything would be taken care of and it was their fault, and they caused more damage then what was originally done and we no longer had to put in an insurance claim. We had them put it in writing. Several days later they came back on their word and told us we had to put an insurance claim and it wasn't their fault and that the cpvc pipe was not glued together properly, 40+ years ago. Then the construction part with Brandon started and the craftsmanship of the work that was done after this disaster was great! You couldn't find a texture or waterline showing that something had happened in the house. The floors, sheetrock and painting came out great. It looks gorgeous. The beginning of this was very rocky, but the ending is very beautiful! The work is outstanding but getting there took some time and headaches. read more

Zero Communication with our homeowners insurance. I had maybe 3 different representatives come to my home to inspect and each time and asked what happened. Ummm, check the previous notes. They offer zero help and one representative even said he went through the same leak situation, I highly doubt that. I was so frustrated with them, i found a better contractor AND A BETTER ESTIMATE! We had a leak in our upstairs bathtub due to a clog underneath that the air conditioning condensation line went into. It required mitigation and restoration and our plumber suggested we call Entrusted. We do have to give credit to them arriving quickly, and starting the mitigation and drying. The construction was laid out and they worked with us well. We honestly thought we had a great project completed. Not a few months later, our plumber, who rerouted the culprit pipe to a different section somehow became clogged and we had the same problem again in the same area where the water first leaked. The problem we have is obviously with the plumber who claimed no responsibility. We went to Entrusted as we were led to believe they were the general contractor on this project bringing in whoever they needed to. Unfortunately, at the end of the day, Entrusted pointed the finger back at the plumber with no responsibility for themselves. With neither Entrusted nor the plumber assuming responsibility on the new damage we are holding the bag and the cost right now over $20,000 to fix a problem we just fixed. The take away here is to make sure Entrusted stands by all the people that are being used in your restoration project. Even though our plumber recommended Entrusted and Entrusted knew our plumber and we told Entrusted we needed everything under one contractor at the end of the day they wouldn't stand by it. I've had conversations with them and they understand the dilemma. Again their work was fine, and their people were very professional. But having to pay once again for a problem that just happened from the exact same piping is ridiculous for the customer to be left holding the bag. Entrusted......not a good business name. read more

This company is very unprofessional. I made an appointment for them to come out days in advance and took off to be home. The morning of they called and said they were on the way. They then did not show up and called me 40 min after they were supposed to be here and canceled and said they would not be rescheduling. Jacob who called had no reasoning why outside of it was a management decision and would not let me speak to a manager, he was very rude and seemed annoyed to speak to me. Very disappointing service. We had numerous delays and poor work performed. They broke our glass shower door and then were going to charge twice what we eventually paid to have it replaced and installed. We found glass pieces for a week after they had "cleaned it up." We had to have the work redone at some points. Workers rarely showed up on time and some times not on the day they said. The company was responsive to our concerns when we brought it to their attention but the overall experience was terrible. read more

The damage walls that are not affected by your initial problems and the cleanup is horrible. I went through Hurricane Harvey and had to have my entire house remodeled and it was completely done in three months. Entrusted will drag your little job out for that long or longer. I talked to your slick customer retention person. I see why you need that guy. And I see why you send nice enough young guys out that dont really know about business. These people are basically scam artists avoid at all costs . I paid $1500 for mold mitigation on two spots in my house . They cut jagged large holes in my house sprayed it with some mold treatment chemical and ran fans to try to dry it that didn't do anything . Once I paid them the money for the first part they ghosted and have not responded to my phone call or email about fixing the rest . Our water heater started leaking so we called John Moore Svcs. They came out right away and replaced the water heater. However, they sent out Entrusted to do remediation and restoration. Entrusted got our insurance information and planned to start a claim. When their representative came out to start restoration he found that there wasn't any real damage; just a wet floor upstairs. So he sat out fans and sprayed with disinfectant. He then told me that the charge would be their minimum of $1500.00. Really!!!! The rep who came to get our insurance info never mentioned a minimum and when I read their contract it didn't say anything about it. I thought surely they would adjust it but no luck. Was recommended to use this service for water restoration by the plumbing service I used. The job was completed in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. They offered their services for rebuild and based on the work that was already completed I accepted. Of course they have you sign a document. Well not knowing that they were going to inflate the price of the rebuild so high, I signed. The estimate that was provided to me was ridiculous. It was for replacing a small amount of sheet rock, replacing a small amount of carpet pad a vanity and an upgraded counter top for $9,000. read more

Beware they will pad the bill by adding all kinds of extra charges. For instance, at 2pm they told me they would have a tech who just finished another job come to my home for water mitigation for ceiling damage from a leak, there was no mention of overtime charges. Their tech arrives around 4:45 and sits in front of my home for fifteen minutes then rings the doorbell at 5pm on the dot. They claim that 5pm is considered after hours so they charged me an extra $254 as an after hours call + other overtime charges. They also charged additional hours for the scheduler, for the person who writes up the bill, for the person who submits claims, for the person who collects payments, etc. They tacked on an extra day for the dehumidifier, plus other items. Also their sales person totally lied to me about how much the insurance company would pay on my claim. Unless you are desperate, I suggest shopping around for a more reputable company read more

Firstly I feel that Entrusted is the biggest scam of a company my wife and I have ever done business with. We went with them for mitigation service because John Moore, who my wife and I called out to investigate a leak in a master bathroom from the shower into our master closet, recommended that we use them. So after the plumber left our home, a representative for Entrusted called me and we discussed options of someone coming out to assess the water leak and potential damage. The person that came out was a Senior Damage Consultant named Tyler who was very transparent and knowledgeable. After Tyler assessed the water leak and potential water damage he sat down with us and discussed the options to file a claim with our homeowners insurance( Allied Trust, who he told us they(Entrusted) work hand in hand with which should have been a red flag. Tyler did a great job So that same day after we committed to use Entrusted for mitigation services including demo, some workers from Entrusted came and started the demo process. Before I get to that there were a few associates that were very good and helpful throughout our entire process of mitigation and trying to get approval through our insurance company to start the rebuild process of our bathroom. the insurance adjusters to calling us Our Project Manager on the other hand wasn't the case. I don't know if it was because of the lack of experience but everything felt so rushed and he made the rebuild process very stressful and was very inconsiderate of our(the customers) time and work schedules. read more

Entrusted was timely and professional! I LOVE how they work directly with my insurance company to sort out what insurance will pay for and what needs to be done. Their reports to me and insurance are extremely thorough. Entrusted did our water mitigation themselves, drying up and cleaning out from our burst water heater in the attic. They then priced out and contacted insurance about contract work for the remodeling. If anything was wrong with the remodeling they got the contractors to fix it. They regularly came by or called or texted or emailed to check on the work and our satisfaction. We had a variety of Entrusted staff come by like supervisors and other staff to check on the work as well. I felt genuinely cared for in our experience and nothing was too small a detail for me to inquire about or ask to be changed.
