We have been waiting to try Veggie Crust for a long time and I was excited to taste their Indian flavored pizzas. Parking - There is street parking available, but one of the reviewer suggested we could park in the market basket lot across the street which was just 2 mins walk to the restaurant. There is very limited seating, in case if you stay close by its better to do takeout. And it was also surprising to see the place so less crowded on a Saturday night. I guess we were lucky! We placed order for half and half, whole wheat thin crust pizza with Paneer Tikka Masala and Garden Vegetable pizza. The pizza was what we expected - good portions, delicious toppings. Very flavorful taste! However the Spicy Fries was a big disappointment. When it's an Indian restaurant, I expected the fries to have some Indian flavors. But it was just the ordinary fries topped with spicy sauce(tasted like buffalo sauce) which got soggy soon and wasn't worth ordering. Overall, the pizzas are amazing. Terrible delivery experience. You've been warned. The food arrived earlier then promised, yet somehow cold. The portions are small for the prices charged. I got a panini and my wife got the avocado corn salad. The panini was horrible. Maybe it would have been better when hot or even warm. The menu said it came with a side of fries. It's probably the smallest side of fries I've ever had. Tiny. The fries were decent, again probably better when hot or warm. My wife said the salad was good, however, no eating utensils. I requested eating utensils on TWO different special request notes on the order. Both were ignored. Seriously? Now I have to trek out and get utensils. Lastly, the vegan blueberry ice cream is, "pretty awful actually" according to my wife. I tasted it and 100% agree. It's the worst vegan ice cream I've ever tasted. To sum it up, the only positives were on-time delivery and the salad. Everything else pretty much sucked. I won't order from them again. All of this is of course my opinion (and my wife's). Gross. They give you a glass of room temp water without ice to start with. We dinned in and got to listen to how loud and obnoxious the restaurant staff are. We ordered the zucchini sticks for an appetizer...very bland/no seasoning. We then had the vegan barbecue pizza and it was awful. My goodness, this place is amazing. I ordered a medium sized half Pav Bhaji Pizza (not on the menu!) and half Roasted Eggplant, and both were ridiculously good. For the authentic Indian experience, I asked for ketchup on the Pav Bhaji half, and they handed me a giant bottle of one with the knowing grin of someone who knows exactly how ketchup takes Pav Bhaji to a whole other level - and it did! The Roasted Eggplant had pistachio pesto which is easily the "richest" base I've ever had on a pizza; the mild pistachio flavour worked really well with the burnt caramel flavour of roasted eggplant. The folks behind the counter were very friendly, and even though I sat at the bar, they mostly left me alone to savour my meal - I truly appreciate that! I think anyone who likes Indian food should come give this place a try. A very creative fusion of Indian food and pizza. I'll definitely come again when I visit Cambridge next! read more

They are absolutely amazing. Everything is great! Flavors are unique and to die for. Only reason I'm deducting a star is because of their website. They are available on other platforms but menu is limited. The only way to be able to really customize and order from the whole menu is by using the website order platform, and it is quite finicky and not very user friendly. Veggie Crust now offers Dosas and Uttapams! And by heaven these are so good! If any Indian restaurant /any restaurant offers South Indian food..you don't measure their quality by the main dish, but rather by their side dishes (chutney and sambar). If a restaurant can't get that right they can't get anything right. Veggie Crust won it hands down! I ordered Onion Uttapam and Masala Dosa for delivery and they delivered it in 30-35 mins. I ate the Onion Uttapam for dinner and kept the dosa for tomorrow. I was impressed at the size of the Uttapam and it was deliciously perfect and reminded me of home and eating at the restaurants India. I now have found my go to restaurant when I feel hungry and crave for South food. I definitely want to try their pizza and see how good they are . read more

Looks like a pie for each and everyone, it must be too good to share. Upon recommendations from staff, Orange Eye is fresh pressed, no ice. Yuuuuuum, just enough tartness with the mix of sweetness to quench my thirst. Getting a bombass massage is thirsty business, it's just down the street from Smile Thai Massage! This might turn into a weekky self care routine Couldn't help it, I immediately gobbled up half a slice after I got into the car. This place is LIT. Very busy & great food. I had to take off a star because it's a very small space (only 3 tables and the window seating). So I wouldn't recommend dining in there, but take out instead. We originally went to go sit there, but it was too crazy so we ended up just ordering take out and waiting in the restaurant for the pizzas. It took around 30 minutes to get 5 medium pies. We were super hungryyyy so it was a bit torturous, but once we got them it was SO WORTH IT! As a vegan, I was in heaven. I got the vegan garden veggie Manchurian pizza. Amazing, especially if you like spicy!! My friends got the Paneer tikka BBQ, tomato mozz, & cauliflower manchurian. They absolutely loved it. I've ordered the Manchurian cauliflower pizza (vegan or half vegan/half cheese) numerous times and the quality has been getting progressively worse. It used to come with a good amount of cauliflower but the last few times it's really been lacking. The delivery time is also very inaccurate, arriving over 30 mins after the predicted window (and not surprisingly the pizza has been cold). Delicious!! They have tons of vegetarian and vegan options. I was with a group of friends and one of our party is a vegan- we ordered 2 vegan friendly pizzas and they were divine. Great flavor and fun to try something totally different. (I'm not a vegan, and I was skeptical- but I was super impressed) The service was stellar. Very educating and friendly. If you love Vegetarian food, Indian-fusion food, or heck, even just food with amazing flavor, this is the place to go! I've only been here twice (and both times got food to go) but I love what I've gotten so far. The cauliflower Manchurian pizza was LOADED and did not skimp on that wonderful Manchurian flavor. Recently I was feeling something a little bit lighter so I went for the Corn Avocado Panini and it was amazing (and also loaded without being too heavy). Even the fries were good for not being their specialty! I haven't tried the vegan ice cream yet but while I was waiting for my food someone was raving about it so I will try it soon for sure. Finally, I was very happy with their customer service. I was getting food to go but the person at the counter still offered me a seat and a glass of water while I waited which is something I've never encountered before. Normally I just get ignored until my food shows up. Overall, delicious food and decent prices! If meat is not a "must-have" for you, I would definitely check this out! Happy they had vegan food at 10PM on a Monday night. My friend and I are both vegans and were STARVING ! We ordered the Vegan Mix Vegetable Panini that comes with fries to eat there and the Vegan Garden Vegetable Pizza to go but I got mine with the vegan alfredo base. The delicious pesto on the panini was also vegan and had a lot of flavor. The pizza was just as good today as it was last night I liked the creaminess of the alfredo with the vegan cheese, made it seem more "real"! I recommend skipping the vegan cheese or asking for light vegan cheese if you are skeptical about it/ don't normally like it. One of my favorite takeout pizza places in the city. They do a great job with their innovative Asian/South Asian pizza toppings. My consistent favorites are the Falafel Pizza and the Paneer Manchurian Pizza. The only pizza I wouldn't recommend here is the Pav Bhaji Pizza. All other flavors I've tried here have been spot on. The noodles, fried rice and Manchuria - all of them are drenched in ketchup without any taste. The cauliflower fried in batter was severely undercooked next drenched in ketchup. This speaks volumes about a serious lack in technique and cooking skills. Next overwhelming amounts of garlic to overcome the absolute lack of patience of cooking a meal. The plain rice was so hard and almost not cooked. I fear the family will face serious tummy troubles consuming this type of preparation. It's just sad that food like this is sold for whatever price. If one deliberately wants to endure stomach troubles then this place is likely to help very well with that. The Chole bathure are tolerable. We do not typically like to waste food but this cooking is so compellingly horrid that we have no choice but to trash 99% of it! read more

This has become my go-to neighborhood pizza place. I put off purchasing their pizza for far too long. I'm not vegan, and I like to stick with traditional pizza toppings, so reading rave reviews about the Indian-inspired pizzas and vegan cheese left me wondering about their non-vegan cheese pizzas or those with standard vegetable toppings. (Don't get me wrong, I love Indian food and I don't *require* meat, but when when it comes to pizza I stick to the classics.) Over the last few months we've ordered 'regular' cheese and mushroom pizzas from Veggie Crust and the pizza has been consistently good each time. The sauce and cheese have a great flavor. We especially enjoy the mushroom pizza. It's not at all soggy (like so many other mushroom pizzas, sadly), and it comes with generous amount of mushrooms. I'll be back! read more

My new go-to pizza place! Have done both take-out and delivery, and pizzas have been fresh and hot every time. I'm not vegetarian but love veggie pizzas. Their marinera, pesto, and curry leaf pesto (which I never tried until theirs) are all delicious sauces/bases! I highly recommend their garden vegetable and fresh tomato mozzarella pizzas. These are their most basic topping combos but they are done very well! Flavorful and just enough cheese so it's not too heavy. The sauces are also portioned just right. Overall the pizzas are flavorful, high quality of ingredients, and yet also light, so you can happily avoid feeling sick after eating a bunch of take-out pizza. I have yet to try their other more unique combinations since I love these two so much I keep getting them. But, I'll update this review if/when I do! In terms of other items: Pasta: I've only tried Pasta Neapoli but it was also delicious-- unlike their pizzas, though, I found this to be heavy/oily. Also, the garlic bread it came with was really oddly, over buttered (soggy and dripping with oil), to the point where I threw it away after a few bites. Fresh juices: Great! They're pricey ($7-8), and I've only tried one flavor (Wake Up Punch) but it's a delicious treat I'll probably splurge on time to time. French fries: OK, what you'd expect for take-out fries. Bottom line-- try this place! Worth it for meat eaters and vegans alike. read more

Very seldom do I eat delivery. I'm a gluten free vegan and pretty selective about where I eat from. I decided to try to Veggie Crust since it had good reviews and I was in lazy panda mode. I'm so glad I did! The pizza I got was a gluten free vegan cheese with peppers and onions (lightly cooked because I didn't want the dough to be too crunchy). It was absolutely delicious and I got a stomach ache afterwards because I wolfed down the entire pizza in record time. I will order from them again most likely in a few days. It's a smaller place (no bathroom!) so don't expect to be able to sit down with a large party. I ordered the veganized mixed vegetable panini. I don't really enjoy pesto but the bread was fabulous. This place is is a jewel. Never been here before, wasn't expecting much as pizza places often disappoint. Can't eat lactose anymore, so always looking for a delicious veggie pizza option. Wow...I must say, I underestimated this place. Maybe it's because their storefront has a rather generic-looking sign, or maybe I just hadn't read enough reviews, but the pizza was excellent.
