The food is fantastic! The service is great and efficient! The ambiance is wonderful! There are so many fantastic flavors to choose from! I can't get enough!
After church and having a great lunch at Fatima's Grill in Downey my wife and I and including my father in law,we hungry for dessert then I told my wife let's go to Gelato by stick station near by the house my wife say yes. We arrive at place we seen people coming and going from Gelato place then we step in wow nice on my right side they Gelato on a stick and so many varieties in flavors next to it was gelato by the scoop it looks so good. My wife got some sample of the flavor Gelato she like pineapple sorbet very she got. I got a sample of the dark chocolate I really enjoy it very much I decided to get it. The dark chocolate have great flavor they 72 percent dark coco I like a good bitter dark chocolate. My wife and I well come back soon and bring family and friends and including my Yelp friends.
I'm so glad I found out about this gelato place. It's location is right down the street from work. Walking in, it's bright and airy. Their display of gelato is amazing. There's gelato on sticks, and gelato by the cups. Flavors I've loved and tried: Salted Caramel Pistachio Pistachio Cheesecake Espresso Everything here is super good and makes you crave more. Great for an after lunch treat on a hot summer day!
This little place is minimally decorated yet aesthetically pleasing - just like their gelato bars! You can add drizzles of syrup (I think free) and toppings for an extra charge ($.25 each), but for my first visit (9/21/18) I opted to try the pistachio bar ($3.50) all by itself. It was so delicious and surprisingly creamy plus it stayed on the stick nicely. Did I mention no preservatives? Service is all about 1) giving you samples and 2) friendly in an old-fashioned "won't you be my neighbor" Mister Rogers way. At this moment in time it's raining (yes, in Los Angeles/Downey!). Just before 8:30 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018. And if this place was open and my man would drive me there I would eat at least two for breakfast. I've tried their chocolate gelato scoop style in a cup (medium=$5.50) too. Soft. Creamy. Really chocolate-y sweet goodness. | Gelato: 5 | Service: 5 | Environment: 5 | Price: 4 |
This is a nice and delicious gelato spot in an area that I was not expecting. I was greeted by friendly staff who promptly welcomed me and offered me samples. I had the strawberry cheesecake and pistachio which were both delicious and creamy. They also offer several vegan flavors and sorbet. I can't wait to try their waffle basket, which is coming soon.
Amazing place, very clean. The flavors are amazing!! I just had the pistacho and my husband had mango. The flavors don't lie. Would recommend 100% I would give more stars if they have more.
Probably one of the best mint chocolate chip gelato, i've ever had. Yup, it's true. Extremely minty and creamy with the perfect amount of crunchy chocolate bits. yes! thank you for moving over from pasadena =) Mr choi was super graceful and took the time to explain every question we had. Definitely recommend!!
Every time I come into town from the Bay this is a must visit stop. I've never had a more flavor creamy gelato anywhere else. If you love pistachio ice cream you HAVE to try it. The owner is really friendly and passionate about his craft. This isn't some hipster joint pretending to do gelato. It's the real deal. All these 5 star reviews are well deserved.
Chef Brandon Choi became enamored with gelato and decided to spend years in Italy to learn the craft. This is one passionate person. He starts his business upon returning home. He opens up shop in Pasadena, but recently moved to Commerce so that he can expand his wholesale and catering business. He can be found in in a non-descript area minutes away from the Citadel Outlets. The store is brightly lit and super colorful. He has traditional gelato and sorbetto and he also has them in popsicle form on sticks. He'll even drizzle, dip, and top the popsicles a la PopBar if you wish. I'm a traditionalist. I need my gelato in a cup with my tiny little plastic shovel-spoon. He's more than happy to talk to you about his product. We discussed his training in Italy and about ice cream making at home. He was super nice. His flavors are also very good. His roasted hazelnut was fantastic. I also enjoyed his pistachio. My brother really liked his Nutella-inspired mix. My kids love the Meyer lemon sorbetto and strawberry sorbetto. Chef Choi has a wholesale and catering business, too. Great experience.
For those of you that have been to italy know that you cant find gelato in the states like the ones they have in italty. But this place is as close as i could find! My cowoorker and i stopped by this place and we had the pleasure of being greeted by Stephanie who gave us samples of just about every gelato (with a smile on her face unlike other places who are not so friendly when you ask for samples). After trying all of them, i decided to buy a pint of the following: pistachio, espresso, peanut butter chocolate, and mint chocolate chip. And it was very reasonably priced because i paid a little over $35 for 4 pints! (I really liked the strawberry one too). The gelato was SUPER fresh and tasty! It wasnt overly sweet like a lot of other places and it had a very rich flavorful texture to it. I cant wait to be back!

Surprising little gem in Commerce. Conveniently down the street from my work so it's hard to resist the lure to stop in at lunch on a hot day. Cute decor and more importantly good gelato! I have tried 4-5 flavors of the gelato with pistachio being my favorite and the mint chocolate chip gelato stick. I love that it's on a stick and comes in this handy little box. Very reasonably priced, friendly service. Yum!

LOVE their Vegano Peanut Butter Chocolate vegan pop. It's flavorful, creamy, fully vegan, gluten-free, soy-free and just pure yummy. Haven't been to their physical store, but we get these in our neighborhood Farmers Market. It's $6, and $6.25 when you pay with card. Pricey but the experience makes it worth it. With a vegan GF toddler, this is our go to ice cream. Thank you for making awesome ice cream that caters to several dietary needs! read more
Big fail. I always see this place when I pass by. Always empty. I like trying new things. And I love ice cream. So I went for it. Service is good. Friendly guy helped me out. This place failed me but not because it's vegan. I got two popsicles. One dairy and one vegan. Each one was $4.95. A bit much. Whatever. As long as it's worth it. But it wasn't. Both my popsicles were super hard lol couldn't bite it till it started to melt a bit. The box or "description" didn't match. My "rocky road" popsicle had one nut. And one marshmallow. And my other one was just bland. Definitely not coming back. I'm not a hater. So I recommend you go try them for yourself. I sure won't. read more

I found this little gem on my lunch break and I'm glad I did! The young lady behind the counter was very welcoming, offered different samples and suggestions. I tried the salted caramel gelato and the chocolate, it was so good! I can't wait to go back and try something else. read more

A little hidden gem in an industrial populated city. The sorbet taste fantastic! It doesnthave that citrus aftertaste and the people are very friendly. Clean and well presented. Highly reccomend to visit and try out! read more

This place has the best gelatos I've ever had !!!!!!!! This place is located in such a non-popular area. That's why I think not many people know it. But you have to try their gelatos! Sooooo good! Can't describe how perfect their gelatos are! Just go and try. They sell individual stick bar, but also in packs. I bought two packs of six, which gives me 12 stick bars. I brought my own ice bag in order to keep the gelato bars cold. read more

This place is awesome, we come here often (don't forget your stamp card). My kids love the variety of flavors and they let you taste them without making a you feel uncomfortable. We will continue to come here, this is our spot when we feel like ice cream (gelato). read more

Yum..... is all I got to say. Jk! The gelatos here are so delicious!!! It was our first time coming here. My wife had the pistachio and I had the mango sorbet. We would've bought more, but we were running errands and the gelatos would've melted. We are definitely coming back for some more. read more

Delicious traste and not too creamy just the way we Europeans like it! Tried the Vanilla bean and my wife the Piña Colada and we are hooked! They have a vegan selection and that called our attention right away. This is a new spot for us. read more

New Organic Gelato shop in Commerce!! I had Pistachio gelato on a stick with some toppings and my wife had Peanut butter chocolate in a cup. It was sooooo good! Way better than ice cream. Server was very polite. I'm going to be a regular here! read more

My husband and I live 5 mins away and Would drive by this place all the time just thinking we need to stop by one day and we are so glad we did! Definitely a hidden gem in Commerce. The Gelato is delicious the owner is really nice supper humble and the place is clean. Stop by if you are in the area you wont regret it! Probably never going to a cold stone ever again! read more
